The owner, John, came out on short notice to give us a quote, was very friendly, professional, and offered a competitive price, especially considering other companies quoted higher prices or ghosted us. The quote was emailed to us to review and sign, which made everything very easy to move forward with. We booked JB Tree 365 right away, and they were able to schedule the work within a short timeframe, which we really appreciated. The crew was excellent and very easy to work with. They showed up on time with all the right equipment, including a basket lift and a wood chipper, and got right to work. John and another crew member were up in the tree cutting back some heavy branches that were extending over our neighbor's house, and the ground crew coordinated smoothly with them to get the limbs down safely and into the chipper. The whole job was incredibly efficient, and the entire thing was finished in less than an hour, which was amazing. They cleaned up the area very well afterward; you could hardly tell they had been there except that the trees were now safe and trimmed. I was also very grateful they could complete the work before the winter rain storms began. Our neighbors even complimented how well the guys were working together as a team. John and his guys are absolutely incredible. We had the need to remove two 100 foot tall Monterey Pines that were leaning towards our newly remodeled house and he and his team made short work of it. Pricing is well below local competitors who are way over the top.. John and his team are a no frills operation that does incredible work for a fair price. If you fail to request an estimate from him when you're having tree work done, you'll be throwing away. a lot of money unnecessarily. Btw, John is not only the guy who gives you the estimate. I hired JBTREE to do some defensible space work around my home clearing overhanging trees and hazardous plants and etc. It was a project I submitted to Safer West County. JBTREE sent out six guys with chainsaws, a big chipper and they did a fantastic and good quality clearing job in 4 hours for a very very reasonable price. I'd hire then again anytime. read more

John and his crew did a fantastic job on our very large redwood near downtown Sebastopol. Our tree was overgrown and untended for too long - full of long, gnarled branches that would routinely fall during winter storms. I needed someone who could trim her wayyyy back, shorten and remove branches, letting the breeze move through while taking the weight off. I was really worried about how she would look at the end. She looks glorious and so happy now! His crew worked quickly, efficiently, and safely. I couldn't believe they didn't damage the fence, shed, or house that were all close to the tree. They took out two other small, crowded redwood trees and trimmed my weeping willow for me. They left the place clean and feeling great. I received several quotes, and JB Tree 365 was one of the best; their service was above and beyond top-notch. John operated a bucket and did most of the trimming. Ethan checked in with me often about the progress and also showed his expertise in tree trimming. The whole crew of four was very professional and did an excellent job. They removed a whole cypress tree, which was leaning perilously towards multiple buildings on my property. They also trimmed a large oak tree and two other large cypress trees. My property is now safe from damage from falling limbs and the leaning tree. I appreciated how they left the site clean. They took pride in their work, and I couldn't be happier. Exactly the kind of service I look for when needing assistance around the house. I submitted a request for a quote probably around 6:45am today, got a call from John barely half hour later, and he was at my house 20 minutes after that. JB Tree 365 took down a giant Black Walnut Tree in my yard. They did an excellent job and were very careful in their work. They salvaged the tree trunk so that we can turn it into a table. Definitely include John Brooks and his team the next time you need tree service. He is now my "go to" for tree care. I got several quotes and I was very surprised at the price range. I'm not sure the others who quoted really wanted the work as their prices were absurdly high. Never would have hired them at the rates they quoted. Would have kept looking. Guess it's supply and demand right now but last year I found some take the work after huge storms and then bring on clearly inexperienced temporary workers - and it's obvious. John was reasonable, showed up when expected with an experienced and organized crew and certainly met my expectations. We had John come out and give us a bid. We have had experience with tree services and felt it was a fair price and didn't get further competitive bids. Eric and the crew came out a few days later and did a terrific job with some very challenging circumstances. For one thing, he had to manage a large eucalyptus with 2 main branches in site of electrical and internet wires and a shed. He did it masterfully. If you found JB look no further. I talked to all of the popular tree service companies in Sebastopol for a major job. Take down and removal of about 10 trees (firs from 50-100ft). JB had the best quote, they're super efficient and above all else after seeing them do this work on my property I trust them. Additionally, they will help you sell or get rid of the lumber! This saves an insane amount of money and helps get the wood off your property. Other companies don't do that . Most all of the other companies just shoot you absurd quotes. They prey on people who don't understand the market and are usually distressed in some way because they want a broken or fallen tree off their property. Do not agree to anything until you talk to John. John is the owner and will be on sight for the job. He's on top of everything and very good at communicating.
