I reached out to 8 companies for an estimate for non-skinned tall palm trimming. All responded rather quickly, however, TreeEx called, made an appointment with me to come out and do a physical inspection of the tree to give an accurate estimate not one just based on the photo I provided. Of the 8 quotes I received, 3 came out to look. TreeEx was not low bidder, but they did charge an extremely modest amount by comparison. Day of: Arrived on time. Team was lead through my side gate to the backyard and they got to work. From knocking at the door to hauling to the chipper, starting the truck and driveway- 42 minutes. Less than 1 HOUR They left no trace of debris Nothing. Not a spec of palm floating in my pool, on the ground, nowhere. Positively pleased! This company is doing work for my neighbor. Broke into my gated back yard without my knowledge or consent, moved stuff around, damaged a bunch of potted plants, and blew a hole in the cover of a new canopy tent. No note, no call, nothing. Victor (the owner of Tree X) is very responsive. His quote to me was 65% less than 3 of the other "highly professional" companies in Sonoma County which is why I agreed to work with him. Part of his crew (2 workers) worked quickly and efficiently cutting my tree the way I needed it to be cut. The chipper team (another crew of 2) arrived after the first crew and when they were finished, we were very pleased with the over all job....could hardly tell any work was done (besides looking at the tree) which is what you want as the customer. I reached out to an ad on Facebook for tree services. I have about 8 trees that need minor trimming and two trees that I wanted removed (not stump removal). The estimate came quick within a day, however $4,000 seems excessive for the trees I needed to have a few dead limbs trimmed off. I was told it would be a one day job with crew of 4 men. They must be paid really well .That comes out to 125 per hour per man. I did not feel my job was a full day job so I could not see paying that much for the services. Alejandro was the tree surgeon and precisely cut out the portions of the tree and either roped them down or handed them off to a co-worker like a baby. Why is this important?
