So, a crane would be the only way, as it needed to be lifted onto the balcony over the garage. Crane was very responsive and I was able to schedule the delivery people and them for a date and time only a couple of weeks away. It took less than one hour to crane the new fridge up and take the old one down (see pics). Not only was the service amazing, the price was remarkably reasonable. And, Tony and Kathy just happen to be really great people. I cannot recommend them any more highly for any large items like fridges, hot tubs, beams... You can't go wrong.

We only tried working with them because the swim spa company recommended WCC, but they failed to honor their quote, increasing the quoted price by an astronomical amount at the last minute, which required us to scramble for other crane service options; turned out to be a blessing in disguise since we found Ad-Lite cranes in the process, whose service and execution was flawless. WCC will talk a good game (Tim N.), but that's about all you'll get; maybe some double talk and some spin. Save yourself the headache and frustration of dealing with WCC; too many other options available to have to deal with this company.

South Bay Crane and Rigging aka Arborlift Inc was subcontracted by La Selva Tree Care for a job…read morethat involved the removal of a large redwood tree next to the house a couple years ago. My main concern was if the weight of the crane would cause damage to the concrete driveway. After numerous attempts to contact the owner Jose of South Bay Crane I finally got ahold of him and he assured me the 6x6 wood pads provide enough protection to prevent damage. Unfortunately his crane operator placed one of the legs of the crane where the concrete meets the dirt which caused the driveway to crack. After the job was complete I could tell someone put dirt on the cracks to hide the damage (pic 1 shows cracks and pic 2 shows rear leg of crane improperly placed where cement meets the dirt). I would definitely look into hiring someone else if you want the job done correctly. This company might be cheaper than others but the quality of performance is not worth it after causing damage.

My company had one of their repairmen out to replace the water pump on our forklift yesterday and…read moretoday it is dumping oil all over the place. Seems like they did something to cause damage to the forklift necessitating costly repairs. When I called to find out what happened I had to leave a message for the "service manager". He didn't respond so I called back about 3 hours later. When I explained the issue to him about how it seemed a little strange to have this MAJOR issue with the forklift surface the day after they had their hands on it, he said, "Just bad luck I guess." Not only that but we found that the water pump pulley was barely holding on. The mechanic must have only put the bolts back on finger tight because it was very easy to remove them. Luckily we discovered this today while trying to figure out why the forklift was leaking oil so badly. Stay far away from this crooked company.

When we decided to move I wanted to bring the playhouse. King lifted the playhouse out of a very tight fit between our house and the fence and placed it on a flat bed truck. At the new location, they lowered the playhouse PERFECTLY onto the new foundation piers. The precision and care was like magic. I would use them again.
