The best. Hands down there is no better company in the Bay Area to use. Wonderful Work, family and results. I love these guys and I've been using them for decades. read more

These guys are the BEST. Fosec Jr has completed a couple of tree removal and trimming projects for us over the last couple of years and we are so impressed. We are really tough customers-- sometimes the jobs are difficult, we want trustworthy and high-quality service, we insist they have liability insurance and licensing, AND we want a good deal (not a huge budget for these big home projects). They came out multiple times to provide the estimate and some clarity we were looking for, were very polite and spent time with us, upon booking they showed up right on time, did a great job on all the projects-- above and beyond (special thanks to Alejandro!), and we felt like the charges were VERY reasonable (we'd gotten a BUNCH of quotes to compare). Look no further-- Fosec Jr. is a great local family business. Highly recommended. read more

I'm grateful our neighbor referred us to Fosec Jr Tree Service. Eric came by to see the trees we wanted to be removed from our property. When Eric came back with his team they were professional and efficient. I was impressed by how quickly they got the work done. I highly recommend them if you need trees removed. They are also affordable which is a big plus. read more

The most recent storm took a tree down blocking my 87 year old neighbor from getting out of her house. I immediately called Fosec, as I was a repeat satisfied customer. They knew the urgency and came to my home within 10 minutes. Lonzo made it happen. A half hour later, the tree was removed from the blocked driveway. Kudos to this great team of workers. They were respectful of our property and followed up to ensure complete satisfaction. Wow, they went over and above the call of duty. I am so appreciative for the sense of urgency they heard in my voice. From start to finish, an excellent team and doing an excellent job. Thank you, I will be a loyal customer forever. I just had my second tree service with Fosec Jr Tree Service. I've lived in Marin for only 6 years now and needed a "go to" tree service. When I lived in Napa I "had a guy" and I knew when I called him he'd give me the best price and best service. Well, Fosec Jr Tree Service are my "go to guys" for our home in Marin County. Great prices and great service for my last two visits to my home. They left everything more tidy than when they arrived. When I need tree service now I don't call around, I just call Eric and I know they'll take care of business at a reasonable price. read more

Absolutely fantastic job! From the first call (which was responded to promptly), this company was efficient, prompt and professional. It's amazing how fast 20 years goes by, and trees just grow and grow and grow. Alonzo was very prompt when coming to provide the initial estimate. (My husband was impressed that both he and the other team members were wearing uniforms.) He listened to what we wanted done and our concerns (not to trim too much, check nests for any baby animals, cleaning up the neighbors' yards). When his team arrived, they parked their truck in our driveway and immediately put a tarp under - it was a new truck, but they wanted to make sure it didn't leak. What thoughtfulness! They worked the entire day and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up the neighbors' yards, and even cleaned our backyard better than it looked before. Cost was exactly as estimated, and I was happy to pay it. Great job, highly recommend! We'll be calling them next year to maintain what they did (and not wait another 20 years!) read more

Fosec crew pleasent and very hard workers Very good at tree work Moved patio furniture out of harms way then moved it back after job Cleaned up quickly and completely Alonzo great communicator Reasonable price Would recommend read more

These guys are the best! I first used them 6 years ago to take out 7 giant Eucalyptus trees, a few other teams would not take them on, these guys make quick work of it, super skilled, real professionals! I've since used them for other work. They always come in as the lowest bid, and they do good work, and clean up nicely after. read more

I had a Large tree that I was worried about. So I called Fosec Jr. Turns out the tree was a danger to everyone around it, They took care of everything. They came out when they said they would and gave a quote. Then they came back to do the job when they said they would to do the job. Very professional and really good work. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

Our 100 year old 120' Monterey pine wedged between two houses died suddenly. Forsec Jr. removed this tree with teamwork and skill that rivaled what would be expected of a neurosurgical operating room team. Using only ropes and chain saws they achieved what looked to be impossible.; Other tree services had wanted to use a street closing crane for several days at jaw-dropping expense. When finished, its as if the tree was never there. The houses were protected and cleanup of our property and the neighbor's property was immaculate. Put them on your list for tree work. read more

Saul and his two sons, Eric and Alonzo run the best tree service imaginable anywhere. They have helped us out of several very difficult situations dealing with enormous dangerous trees or fallen trees being removed in an extremely professional manner. They bring crews sized for the job and all the needed equipment and vehicles to match. They came to Bolinas today in the midst of a huge downpour to remove a giant sprawling oak that had fallen onto an occupied cabin near our home. This was after only two days notice. Thorough, clean, rapid, and friendly service. It doesn't get better. Their prices are more than fair given the massive work they take on. We cannot recommend Fosec Jr Tree Service and crew highly enough. Anyone needing real tree work must contact them for the best possible results under any circumstances!! read more

Quickly and efficiently removed a large storm damaged tree from our front yard this winter. Definitely 5 star service and highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Fosec Tree Service in Novato. Eric and Alfonso. Brothers who took over their father's arborist business. When I phoned for a quote, Eric somehow found time to make it by that morning. They got us on the schedule by the end of the week.... our first choice date for work to be done. They were on time, professional, and all the guys were so courteous! They really listened to what we were trying to achieve. All of the crew who came to work in our garden that day worked so hard! So efficiently!! By the time they were done, everything was cleaned up and back in place. They took great care to leave fragile plants beneath untouched ..... Artists!!! Amazing to watch!!! They went above and beyond and did a beautiful job. We are so happy! And.... their price was very competitive. Highly recommend!! FIve Star!!! MT read more

These guys were fantastic! I called on a Friday (and Erick actually picked up the phone, no messages here) because a large tree limb had fallen onto our patio furniture and I figured our tree needed a trim. They came out the same day, provided a competitive quote and were back on Monday to complete the job. They trimmed and shaped the tree beautifully. Additionally, their cleanup was stupendous and they cleaned up the neighbor's yard as well. Highly recommend! read more

Had these guys out this week to take down three trees, each about 35-40 feet tall. They were punctual, professional, and were careful of our property and plants. They chipped the trees in the chipper out front and cleaned everything up. Done in 2.5 hours and did an excellent job! I absolutely would recommend or use their services again. Wonderful crew! read more

Just absolutely the best. I've had many tree services over the years, Fosec & family hands down the best. Rates are never shocking, very reasonable, but the quality of everything they do is the best. I've had them to my house many times to take out palms, grind stumps, help with 40 foot high, roses, oaks, you name it. They leave everything far more cleaned up than it was when they arrived, and are very easy to work with. I can text the brothers, they always reply, we have a great flow so I never wonder when they're coming or if they will reply. Very professional. Do yourself a favor and use these guys, you'll never need another service. read more

Alonso and his team were responsive after the recent rain storms. They efficiently removed a 75yr oak that was lost to the storm. I would hire them again. Solid team. read more

Very professional, couldn't be happier with results!! I'd definitely hire and recommend again!

When a neighbor told us that one of our giant palm trees was swaying particularly bad in a rainstorm this past February, we knew it was time to make a decision. We called several tree service companies including this one. They were the first ones to arrive on the scene and assess the tree. They told us that the leaning palm tree was healthy, but that mother nature cannot be counted upon and they couldn't guarantee anything. We talked to a couple other tree service companies and decided on this one. We finally had the work done this past Friday where the tree company had to remove the giant leaning palm and clean off the other two giant palms. They gave us a very competitive price, they were on time, it was a job well done, it was very clean when we got home from work, and many of the neighbors commented on what a great job they did. Though I was sad to see one of the three of my giant palm trees gone, I know it was the right thing as safety comes first. The way the other two trees look is just perfect. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them! I will definitely be calling them in the future! read more

Absolutely the best! This is the second time we've hired Fosec and both times Eric has come out, given us a quote, the same or next day and done the work within a few days. They are very professional, clean up everything, even cleaner than when they arrived and do a masterful job of pruning our oak and bay trees. They say "Yes" to every request. I was very pleased with a tree removal by Fosec Jr Tree Service. The fallen tree fell onto other trees along the creek embankment. A crew of four with proper equipment and tools, quickly and quietly as can be expected, removed the tree, grinded the stump, and did a nice clean up in under four hours. A bonus was they caused very minimal impact to the creek embankment. The crew was masked, professional, and pleasant. I will be asking them to return very soon as I have a lot of trees to maintain. read more

I had a large tree thinned and another small one cut back from the street and they did a wonderful job quickly and cleanup was great. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. read more

I have used this tree service many times over the years and overall I am happy with their work. One time we had a miscommunication and they pruned a coast live oak tree in a way I had not asked for or authorized, which was heartbreaking. But all the other times I have been happy with their tree work. I recommend you oversee the work to make sure there are no miscommunications. read more

Fosec Jr Tree Service is absolutely the very best tree service! Their quotes are fair and reasonable, especially when it is a really big job! They cut back 5 100ft eucalyptus trees along the back fence line of my property to halfway, and cut to ground 3 60ft trees, 2 pine that were leaning precariously over my neighbors yard, and a cypress in my front yard that was way too close to home for fireproofing necessity and casting shadow over my solar panels. It was the most incredible event to watch their treemasters climbing and tethering ropes, cutting and removing all cuttings. They chipped them right in front of home and cleaned up all the debris in yard and street, as well as neighbors yards. It is a complete transformation not just for my yard, but my neighbors as well. With all the rain and ground water building up it became a safety issue to get these trees managed quickly, they were back 3 days later and knocked it out in one day. The team was amazing! I will definitely be working with them in the future for additional tree services! Thank you to all the folks at Fosec Jr Tree Service! read more

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the job Eric and his crew did for us this week. We had nine old cypress trees and a Japanese maple that needed to be cut down. Wow! Three days ago I called to request a quote for removing a very tall sick tree. Eric answered the call immediately, came by within the hour and gave me a quote on the spot. Given the very reasonable quote (almost half what a different service quoted!) and the reviews here, I decided to move forward with Fosec Jr. Tree Service. The crew arrived exactly on schedule and immediately got to work. I was amazed with their efficiency and attention to safety. They did an immaculate clean-up job - so much so that my neighbor felt compelled to thank them personally! I would highly recommend them for any tree service needs. read more

Great guys, great price, easy to work with and very professional! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree service!

We have four ornamental trees of different species, each about 30 feet high, spread around our yard, and a very tall, gangly, woody pittosporum hedge along one side of the yard. This is the second time we have had Eric and his crew come to prune and trim our trees. I am so happy with the job they did. They pruned and shaped the trees and trimmed the top of the hedge exactly as I had asked. The trees and hedge look beautiful! The men were extremely careful in our yard, and didn't step on any plants or let the branches fall all over the place. They cleaned up and chipped everything. You couldn't even tell they had been there except for the trees looking so nice! I really appreciate the fine work Eric and his crew do. You can trust these guys with your landscape trees! Thank you Fosec Jr. Tree Service! read more

To avoid using Davey Tree Service and having a badly shaped tree I hired Fostec Jr and asked them to cut my tree back just beyond the prior cuts made for the same purpose. What I got instead was a tree drastically cut back to below the telephone lines with only the large branches remaining. It looks just awful and will be years before the tree comes back. read more

Highly recommend. I got someone out for a quote, scheduled an appointment and within a few days my tree was trimmed! They even cleaned up all my leaves from the ground. I was very pleased and will be using this company again! read more
