The staff are friendly and provide great service, and the ambiance is nice as well. Parking is ample as it is tucked within an area with community spaces. Greenbridge Cafe is a cute Latin-inspired breakfast place in White Center. I pass this area all the time, but I've never driven down this side street before. My husband and I went there on a Sunday morning and it was super easy to find street parking. It was actually Father's Day and it was pretty busy. We had to wait a little bit for a table, but it wasn't bad at all. Our waitress warned us that a large table just put their food order in, so she suggested we start with a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was gigantic and very good. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Ham (the other options are Butternut Squash + Mushroom or Chorizo + Spinach). It comes with poached eggs, roasted poblano sauce, and breakfast potatoes. I enjoyed my food and would recommend it. My husband ordered the Migas Con Jamon (caramelized onions, tomatoes, roasted corn, jack cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, crispy tortillas, and avocado crema). He didn't really enjoy this dish, but to be fair it didn't look like some of the other pictures on Yelp (so not sure if it was just an off day or something). read more

I'm always looking for an excuse to go out and enjoy food at a new restaurant and of course I caught my friend well on her belated birthday still a good reason . I want to first start off by saying green bridge Cafe had flexi straws I haven't seen those in a while and they brought back some nostalgia. I started my day with brunch!! Apple pistachio pancakes slightly heavier than a normal pancake but good dusted with powdered sugar, two slices of bacon, breakfast potatoes well seasoned, and sunny side up brown eggs, and yes I did ask because I do not like white eggs I think they're unhealthy and they stink . Specific eggs unless you're going to a vegan or organic restaurant. My friend had Chorizo spicy caramelized onions roasted peppers over easy egg on rustic bread along with breakfast potatoes. The service was nice and the music was phenomenal it made me want to get up and practice my salsa, Cha Cha Cha. Restrooms available and clean, I specify that because I can't stand dirty nasty bathrooms especially in restaurants. Plenty of parking next to the coffee shop DubSea and the local kids club located in the apartment complex of green bridge considered White Center, and I recommend going for brunch. Yuuuuuuuuuummm! (Make sure to add the appropriate amount of hunger drool when reading that). We accidentally found Greenbridge Cafe and it was a delicious windfall. With out of town guests we needed to find a tasty brunch spot without a 2 hour wait and found Greenbridge Cafe. Between our first brunch and me coming back for pastries/desserts the next afternoon I've had a lot of food here. For brunch I had a cinnamon roll and their breakfast sandwich and breakfast potatoes. The cinnamon roll all by its lonesome is worth the drive here from Kirkland. The breakfast sandwich was very well made, the bread was on point and everything tasted delicious. The potatoes were crisp and lightly seasoned. Per the usual, I had devoured all of my food well before my family had. A few people in our group had the grits and kept commenting on how great they were. Our server was very on top of keeping coffee and water filled which is saying something with how quickly I chug a cup of coffee. I've also tried their macaroons, carrot cake and their chocolate cake... and another cinnamon roll (don't judge until you try one). For a brunch/lunch place they make some REALLY good pastries and desserts. The restaurant is clean and operating within the Covid guidelines so we all felt comfortable during our dine-in experience. The staff were all very friendly and sporting their Seahawks gear on gameday Sunday. I wish I lived closer but I'm not going to let that deter me from coming here more often. This place is a gem! Came here on a sunny Sunday and ordered the chilaquiles and chorizo eggs Benedict. The chilaquiles isn't the traditional style I've had but I prefer Greenbridge's take on it so much that I avoid ordering chilaquiles anywhere else. The chorizo eggs Benedict was also delicious! Hailing from White Center, Greenbridge is a very decent breakfast/brunch option. We did not have to wait for a table and we've grazed here twice now. The offerings are broad, but with an emphasis on Latino-inspired cuisine. On our most recent visit, we ordered the migas, crispy chicken and a side of breakfast potatoes. The migas con jamón were excellent. Migas are very similar to chilaquiles. In addition to thin squares of ham, Greenbridge's migas are comprised of scrambled eggs, onions, cheese and pieces of crispy tortilla, topped with thin slices of scallion, and brought all together with a very nice light cream sauce made from avocados. My crispy chicken was tonkatsu-style slices of white meat. The chicken's seasonings were excellent - light and unobtrusive. The chicken, topped with little squiggles of crema, came with two biscuits that had been cut in half and dressed with a light layer of a delicious sauce. I asked for the tasty poblano sauce to be served on the side. The breakfast potatoes were lightly seasoned cubes served in a bowl. For dessert we split the churros. Containing a caramel sauce, they are pretty good, but extremely sweet and a tad tough. The restaurant's ambience is attractive with friendly and accommodating service. I do offer a heads-up on the table that is located one table away from the wall on the north side of the restaurant. If you are sitting in the chair facing the window at this table, you will have a chilly draft from above blowing down upon you (the seat on the opposite side of the table is just fine). Still, setting aside that little detail, we look forward to coming back. read more

I came here on a Friday morning and it was wonderful. Not too crowded, and a really nice atmosphere, in a cute neighborhood, with free street parking. I ordered the French toast, and it was very satisfying. It was soft in the middle and crispy on the outside. It tastes like vanilla and cinnamon and powdered sugar, and it has creme brûlée sauce on top. So delicious. It comes with sausage or bacon, and I had the sausage, which was amazing. The sausage was deep fried and accompanied the French toast really well. The waitress is so nice. There were just a few people working, and they were very kind. Upon randomly finding ourselves in White Center, my breakfast buddy and I decided to try Greenbridge Cafe because of the many glowing reviews on Yelp! It being Easter morning when we went, we were really glad they were open, and even though they were slightly late to open, the staff who were there were really nice and let us sit in the restaurant while they got set up. We got the crispy chicken and biscuits ($12) and the migas con jamon ($11.25). The crispy chicken and biscuits are delicious, super crispy and flavorful with lots of sauces that come with. Surprisingly satisfying. The migas con jamon looks like a giant pile of who knows what but is full of delicious flavors and is extremely filling. The portions at Greenbridge are not scarily huge but are definitely enough to fill you up. Service is attentive and quick, and the space is really open and clean. Thankful to the sweet server who kept bringing my baby treats while we were waiting for our food to come. First it was a banana, and then it was grapes, and then our food came - but I'm guessing the next would have been pineapple. Moved to the WC neighborhood last year. I've eaten here a few times. I've held back speaking up while the pandemic restricted us to take out only and they were frequently closed. Before this lovely little place gets found out and promoted by the Times food critic or out of area folks, leading to lines of hungry people wandering around 8th waiting to get in, I strongly recommend eating here now (and often). This visit we ordered the quinoa with spinach and poached egg. The cashier asked twice if we wanted a cinnamon roll. First time we said no and then while we continued gazing, eyes rolling back in our heads staring at a pile of them through the glass case, the fragrance of a fresh pan of rolls cooling in front of us, thankfully she asked again. If we had said 'no' a second time I sure hope she would have asked a 3rd time. It was THE BEST cinnamon roll we have ever had. Not too sweet, not overpoweringly 'cinnamony'. Soft, moist but not too gooey, no nuts or raisins hiding inside; no extra ingredients needed. It was perfect. The quinoa breakfast although less a quasi-religious experience, was also terrific. VERY solid offering. The quinoa with bits of chopped veggies is fried like hash browns on a grill so they were CRISPY on the outside and soft inside. The fresh spinach on the quinoa was dressed with a wonderful light, oil based sauce with superb flavor. Garnished w avocado slices. The reason it's all so well reviewed? My first meal alone in Seattle. My friend that I was staying with had to go to work so I decided to walk down to this café and grab breakfast on my own. It showed some good review so I was excited to give it a try. I made it in right after opening and sat down and took a look at the menu. I was torn between the French toast and chilaquiles. I may have decided wrong. The dulce de leche French toast sounded a little too sweet for breakfast and the chilaquiles just called my name. They came on a tostada instead of chips which was fine, made it look fancy, but made it a little harder to eat. The big problem I had was lack of flavor. They were very bland. The sauce wasn't spicy or spiced or anything. The beans were plain and the meat just wasn't very good. Maybe I am used to better chilaquiles in Vegas so I'm still giving them a 3 star but I should have gotten something else. They staff was so attentive. They gave me some chalula to try and make it a little better but I think the damage was already done. I want to come back with my friend when I'm in town and try something different. We have been here twice for brunch and can't wait to come back! We have enjoyed the Pork Belly Brioche, the Eggs Benedict with poblano sauce offered with GF Parmesan polenta cake, the Potato Gnocchi with crisp pork belly, jalapeño jelly and fried egg, La Cruda which is yucca fries, beans, and pulled pork, Chilaquiles which is pulled pork between crispy tortillas with a poblano chili sauce topped with a fried egg. If you or your eating guest find yourself preferring American breakfast items, they have eggs, bacon, sausage, a vegetable frittata, scrambles (we've had the bacon and potatoes and both very good). Also, the small bakery counter has some delightful sweets! I recommend starting breakfast with a cinnamon roll to share! Greenbridge is a lunchtime staple. The price range for most items are $10-$15. I ordered this beautiful pork belly pasta and I was pleasantly surprised when I found an egg on it. Anything is better with an egg! It came with a side salad. My friend ordered another pasta and it came with fries and bread.
