Long story short-ish, Slice contracts through DoorDash for deliveries. DoorDash driver never called and never delivered my $100+ worth of pizza! I stopped by GrandSlam to ask for a refund. Manager took my info to give to the owner. No more than 15 minutes later, GrandSlam owner called me and emphatically apologized (which the situation wasn't even their fault) for the situation. And offered to call Slice on my behalf and to get my refund for me. I am extremely happy with their customer service and ill certainly order from them in the future. read more

I have always seen this place passing by at work and decided to finally stop and try to get something. Wasn't sure if it was the kind of joint that sells pizza by the slice or you have to buy the whole pie well I decided to go for it when I had to buy the whole pie. Oh, it was deep dish and good Lord. 9/27/2021 - This place clearly has some challenges. Called for an order, put on hold for at least five minutes, only to be told they are not delivering anymore. Their website does not indicate anything about them not delivering, nor does their social media. In fact the very first thing you see is about their free delivery. And a note to the people that answer the phone...let your customers know right away you are not delivering before putting on hold. Wasting my time is the worst.... read more

We usually order from them without any issues with delivery time. Tonight we called in an order at 4:27 and by 5:45, we had not received our pizza. When I called they claimed to have tracked down the delivery driver and said our pizza "should be there in about 10-15 minutes ". At 6:05, it was finally delivered. The ingredients they use are of very high quality. The seating area is well decorated in baseball memorabilia and has always been clean each time we have been there. Grandslam pizza is the best pizza around, imho. They are so nice to speak to. Delivery is fast and food is always nice and hot. It is also great tasting and inexpensive. I am also a fan of their steak n cheese hoagie. It's so delish! Fad@@€++ their calzones! The only food item I think needs to be better is their breadsticks. I did not like the pizzas from here over the last year I have ordered several times each time waiting like a month or two in between to see if they improved on making their pizza and it never happened the crust was always 2 to 3 inches wide meaning the sauce and cheese did not go out far enough to the end of the dough and their topping portions are pitiful I ordered a large pizza at one time with half sausage and half mushroom and the mushroom side had like 10 pieces of mushroom on it and the sausage side was also very minimally covered , I will not be ordering pizza here again read more
