Love the Rasher Sandwich! Great English muffin, bacon, hard fried egg and New School American cheese. Add a perfect cappuccino and it's s great breakfast!

Great cafe/bakery with lots of options to pick from! I went with my go to which was a chocolate croissant. It was delicious, perfect chewiness, not too flaky, and great amount of chocolate! Large seating area, I'd come back!

Hot Latte and an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich

The breakfast sandwiches are quite scrumptious I got the bacon egg and on a croissant. The bacon was crispy and egg was a little runny on the inside. The latte had a great espresso pull with a beautiful cream foam on top. The customer service was really nice they would answer any questions that you had. There is a ton of seating and room to talk or work. I recommend going in the summer time as there is a lot of outdoor seating and is a great way to soak up the sun.

Went to grand central bakery after a day out of playing tennis and biking and was looking for a healthy bite of food and a good iced matcha to refresh. I ordered the seasonal item of Hazelnut Chicken sandwich and an iced matcha. The matcha was good, it had good flavor with a strong earth flavor, but the perfect amount of sweet. The Hazelnut chicken sandwich was good, but nothing that stands out. The texture of the hazelnuts added good flavor and the chicken was seasoned well, but nothing out of the ordinary. Did not get to try the pastries but they looked delicious. Overall, a nice big bakery and would be a perfect spot to work for a few hour/read a book while having some food and a drink.

This location is newer, the old bakery was right across the street. Came here on a Saturday to get some breakfast. Got a Tuna Melt sandwich which was perfectly done with a crispy crust. It wasn't too crowded, and the service was pretty decent. There are seats outside as well which will be ideal for a sunny day.

Came here on a weekend for a quick bite to eat. The people who took our order were very nice! The food came out semi quick. The croissant was flaky and super yummy. Added Gouda cheese to make a bacon egg and cheese. Overall was a yummy sandwich and it's right on my way in to work. So will definitely come by more often. I also came another day and had a cappuccino and some coffee cake, the coffee cake was unique, the top of it was more like bread pudding consistency but was super yummy and still warm when I ate it.

Ordered one latte (8oz) and one toasted croissant. I really liked the croissant (I recommended to get it toasted) However, the coffee was pretty decent (nothing great) The service was fairly quick.

I haven't spent too much time around Eastlake, but on a beautiful Sunday morning I decided to try a new coffee place! At around 10 AM, a line was growing out of Grand Central Bakery. They have a limited drink menu and a ton of delicious looking bread and pastry items. I got a chai and also a coffee cake, which size wise, was huge. The chai was on the sweet side but really spiced so great. The coffee cake was amazing. I forgot to take a photo until I had halfway finished it so just went for it, but it easily could serve 2 people. Will be back!

Probably the best food spot in a pinch I've ever been too . Service was quick and attentive accommodating and high quality . Perfect ambiance for a multitude of people with good jams that weren't overly soft but not overly quiet either . Perfect spot for pumpkin spice OMG . The quality of the pumpkin spice is astronomical . Man I don't think I've ever had a chai + pumpkin spice combo this damn good my goodness . The food was hot ready and high quality definitely hit the spot

I think this place has amaaazing baked goods, however I was not too impressed with the sandwich I ordered. Decided to try their Bristol Bay sandwich, which has smoked salmon on it. $15.50 for a sandwich this size is a little much...With my latte and sandwich I spent over $22 which I don't think was quite worth it in the end. However, I have heard some great recommendations for this place so I think I'll stop by again sometime to try their other food items! The steak sandwich looked promising!

This is a limited review as I went very late and was literally the last customer while the person ahead of me bought all the quiches. (Bummer!) Anyway, this appears to be a good location and walking distance to the water (SLU, ignoring the road construction). When I went on May 8th, they weren't allowing customers to enter yet; ordering is from the outside. But there are plenty of bistro tables outside if someone wants to sit down and enjoy their food. Being end of day, the selection was limited. We bought: 2 Giant Croissants - 4.5 Stars Wonderfully pillowy inside while crunchy on the outside (even the next day!) and not too greasy. My 0.5 ding is that as far as croissants go, theirs are kind of ugly and reminds me of an insect larva. Eww. But it's a tasty larva. LOL. Rustic Baguette - 5 Stars This loaf had staying power. The outside stayed crusty/crispy for 3-ish days while the inside stayed soft too. Excellent loaf. 2 Chocolate Cookies - 3.5 Stars These were pretty good but not in a tell-a-friend kind of great. I'll probably buy more of the larva looking croissants instead. (I'm cracking myself up.) Seriously, they have a good looking menu with a good amount of savories, sandwiches, quiches that I would love to try in the future. Next time!

Love Grand Central Bakery in Eastlake! Even on busy days that crank out food and drink at an amazing speed! Personal favorites: - Sasquatch sandwich (seasonal sandwich) - The potato leek soup - Fresh Como loaf (they'll slice it for you or leave it whole!) - cheddar egg croissant breakfast sandwich In addition they also have a fridge where you can buy bread and cookie dough, take and bake pies, and even eggs by the dozen! The prices are still very fair for such high quality. The service is always great and every staff member is friendly no matter the hour. Plenty of seating inside and outside, or you can take it to go and get back on the road pretty easy.

Overall 3.5 stars. Pricey lunch sandwiches and pastries, made with quality ingredients and artisan bread. Sandwiches: Tuna melt - 5.0. Super flavorful, satisfying without being overly heavy. Favorite sandwich here - one of the best tuna melts I've ever had. Tuna salad sandwich - 5.0. Love that this has capers in it. Full of Pacific albacore tuna, fresh celery, sweet onion, dressed with fresh herbs, EVOO, lemon, mayo and crisp lettuce on Peasant bread. Turkey chutney sandwich - 3.0. Found this disappointingly bland. French Ham sandwich - 3.5. Quality, thinly shaved ham, but overall this sandwich is on the bland side. Pastries: Almond croissant (3.5) - giant, excellent almond paste. Croissant was more doughy than chewy, layers weren't as fine as you might get from other Seattle bakeries Pumpkin oat muffin (4.5) - moist, topped with crumble and pepitas. Would absolutely get this again

this sandwich was highly impressive as the main part of the…read moresandwich, it was pretty necessary that the pork be cooked to near-perfection, and i have to say it was here it gave off a deep, brown-ish color, which showed the extent of it's cooking and marination. It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal

I have tried the nachos version of it before as well, and that's equally delicious. The key is definitely that succulent roasted pork. I will say that the sandwich version is MESSY so don't wear white, and also just be mindful if you have plans after. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good.
