    Classic Breakfast Biscuit
    Carl S.

Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast biscuit. It was $17 with tip which is expensive but I couldn't eat the entire sandwich as it was so large and had leftovers. Surprisingly it was just as tasty the next morning. So two meals for $17 is pretty average. Service was friendly, took about 10 minutes after ordering to get my biscuit. Would definitely recommend to share a biscuit due to the size. Will try to return before leaving Seattle.

I wanted to like Biscuit & Bean because the people were so nice and the reviews are great. It seems like they're in the middle of a remodel or fixing some issue because there are industrial fans and no seating inside. At least for now, it all appears to be to-go orders. Coffee was fine. Basic B sandwich was good but could have used more seasoning and was a bit dry. The cheese wasn't melted. Maybe I should have ordered a sauce or something to go with it. The only other veggie option had cucumber on it, which sounded like a weird combo to me. They raised their prices due to cost of eggs (understandable) but for $18 after tip for just coffee and a sandwich, I expected it to be a little more flavorful. Maybe I'll come back and try again! It was good for a quick bite.

When out walking the Ballard area, I ran into this amazing place. There are a few popular biscuit spots locally, but this place stands out. The customer service was great, the biscuits are top notch. The sweet biscuits are a must try, if not... the classic biscuit with the added honey butter won't disappoint. This location will see me again for coffeecanscbreakf

Cheddar onion biscuit and special maple/sea salt latte

Friday morning and it's busy. Great sign! Ordered the special maple and sea salt latte with oat milk. Delicious! Got the cheddar onion biscuit with the herbed goat cheese spread. Could definitely taste an amazing biscuit and would try the more signature options when more hungry. Had to spend 30-45 mins before an appointment and couldn't ask for a better spot!

We originally were going to go to Whole Foods for breakfast, but when we arrived there wasn't any hot breakfast. Searching around the Ballard area, we found this biscuit and coffee shop. There was construction out front of the restaurant but we didn't mind having to walk a couple blocks on this fresh cool morning. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween, which was super cute and aesthetic. Nice small little shop, has room for a few tables and window bar seating. The biscuit flavors were displayed so we could be wowed by the size of them. We both ordered the signature, white cheddar, prosciutto, scrambled eggs, mixed greens and mama lill's pepper aioli. I got mine on the Italian herb biscuit and my partner had his on the cheddar and green onion biscuit. We also ordered Two sides of the sausage gravy. Next time, one side of the gravy is enough for both of us. We also ordered a caramel latte and matcha latte with oat milk and honey. We didn't have to wait long for our order. Our drinks were the perfect temperature and sweetness. The barista did a wonderful job. We took our sandwiches to the Ballard Locks to enjoy while we watched the ships . The biscuit sandwiches were amazing. The biscuit it self was flavorful, and soft , but it was hardy enough that it held the sandwich together. The aioli was the star that pulled all of the flavors of the prosciutto, egg, mixed greens and cheddar together with the biscuit. The gravy was thick, luscious, big chunks of sausage throughout. Spooned on top of each bite of the sandwich was perfect. What a great way to start a morning. Will definitely be coming back to try to the rest of the menu.

My favorite foodie news of the summer was definitely the reopening of Biscuit & Bean. Always worth a drive from, gasp "the Eastside", or even better, a side trip while already anywhere in Seattle. And YES!! B &B's biscuits are just as delicious and huge as they used to be. So of course I bought extra to take home. Yep, definitely still Seattle's best biscuit!! Welcome back Biscuit and Bean, so happy you returned

Great breakfast spot. Great coffee. Really enjoyed their hot sauce. Off street parking. Nice place to disconnect for a while. Friendly staff

Loved their multiple and customizable options! You can pick biscuits and toppings in such a great way. The drinks were also really solid too. The bathroom is decorated in cryptid, which is awesome, and there's a little vending machine with dad jokes for a quarter lol. Friendly and helpful staff and absolutely plan to come back!

Intimate atmosphere, friendly service, and the best fresh, locally sourced, farm/sea to table food. We usually go with at least 4 people so we can order a half dozen oysters on the half shell and another half dozen baked (both amazing). Then, we always get one of their salads - so delicious and unique. We love the BLT salad, this time the shredded beat and carrot salad was excellent, and so was the butter lettuce salad w/ housemade Green Goddess dressing. The soups are insane, but this time we tried the smoked sablefish with an unreal horseradish cream and beets. For entrees, we ordered the pork w/ nectarines (out of this world), moussaka and halibut. For dessert, profiteroles and their galette of the day w/ housemade ice cream - wow. An absolutely delightful meal. Can't wait to return!

The baked eggs, however, were just okay - nothing particularly good. The ambiance was cozy and nice, right in downtown Seattle. However, be prepared: the wait can be long, and once you're done, they'll need the table, as there's usually a line. Overall, it's worth a visit - just make a reservation and come for the Dutch babies. I was told there are seasonal Dutch babies so try again sometime in June maybe. The host asked us to wait outside and said she would come get us when our table was ready. A family who was already waiting outside was called in shortly after, and we continued waiting. We saw several parties leave and many people come in and get seated right away, so we assumed they had reservations. After waiting about 25 minutes, we went back inside to check on our table. The host told us that we "didn't leave a phone number," even though we were never asked for one and were told to wait outside until she comes get us. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she complimented my shirt mid-conversation, which felt like she was trying to brush it off. The entire time we were outside, we were the only people waiting, and we even saw her setting up the outside seating as the restaurant got busier. She never once checked in with us or said anything. The food was good, and our service once we were seated was great. Unfortunately, our first interaction with the host left a bad first impression and took away from the overall experience. That's why we're taking off two stars.

We came in around 1:45pmish and it wasn't crowded. They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any. I got their Caramelized Banana Latte to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it wasn't too banana-flavored nor too sweet; the black sesame in it balanced it nicely. I also got the Urban Pesto, which was SO yum. I was little skeptical of the focaccia - sometimes I find it to be too puffy, and thus hard to eat the sandwich - but this had a lovely panini press on it that made it easy to eat. The in-house herby cheese in the sandwich made each bite just that much more delicious. The staff was also super nice and accommodating to my parents' requests and questions.
