Oh. My. GOSH I said this so many times while I was indulging in the amazing quiche from the Urban Bakery. We got the quiche Lorraine and ham and Cheddar. Perfection. I am a quiche connoisseur and this is in the top 2 of my life. Coffee...where do I even start. Perfectly made, not too bitter and the place was quick and a great place after a run. Clean, friendly, and great price! Thank you!! I can't wait to come back and try more of your quiche

Food is so-so. Service is lackadaisical. Feels dirty and unkempt. We were glad to find somewhere that was open, but probably won't be back again.

Unassuming bakery/ coffee shop with delicious pies and quiches! We got the quiche Lorraine and it was FILLED. The blueberry cherry pie also tasted so jammy (with real fruits) and delicious. Nice neighborhood bakery and we're going to come back for more!

We stopped by as this was the closest to grab a quick bite. The food was mediocre and the drinks werent too amazing. The woman at the register was a bit snippy. My fiancé ordered a "sausage breakfast sandwich" and proceeded to order his drink. She cut him off and said, "You need to tell me what else you want." ....meaning what kind of bread and cheese he wanted with his sandwich. After that, I was pretty turned off by the place and wanted to go somewhere else more welcoming.. somewhere I'd much rather spend my money.

Needed a cafe with outdoor seating close to Seattle Public Theater and the Urban Bakery popped up. Kind service and tasty iced Americano. A medium size of that and a day old bakery item (blueberry croissant) came to just under five bucks (yaSSSSSS GOOD PRICE)!! The have a nice little outdoor patio with umbrellas. I found a nice sunny spot near the bamboo to get some studying done. There is a lot of traffic whizzing past, but the location is enclosed in medium sized hedges and it is right across the street from Greenlake park. The inside and awning are a bit dated. Plenty of seating and exactly what I needed.

The last time I had visited The Urban Bakery was over 16 years ago with a pastry school classmate. Let's just say meeting someone here earlier this morning, it was with guarded optimism. Usually I preferred Chocolati next door or the nearby, now closed Bauhaus. But I'm happy to report that the pastry cases were full of a variety of baked goods, including quiches. And for nearly 3 hours, The Urban Bakery had a steady stream of customers to sit awhile like us or as takeout. I can only speak of the 12 ounce mocha (Cafe d'Arte), no latte art, but decently crafted beverage. The barista seemed a bit tired, but between her and another person, they were able to handle the volume of folks coming through. Glad to see a long time indie spot survive and thrive after all these years. Always room for improvement and seemed they took it to heart.

This was a good old cafe not mind blowing but I love good service and the cashier/ barista was just hilarious and sweet. The cafe has nice out door seating and the food is cheaper then most cafes. Also it is right next to green lake which makes it a great stop before a beautiful walk.

Awesome, no-frills breakfast sandwiches. It's the only thing I come here for. You select your own bread, cheese and protein.

Good coffee drink, but getting up there in price. Triple iced mocha 2% three shots no shake no…read morestir, $8.00 this location. Spendy. When you get one this big, it tastes like mostly milk, so I have them make three long shots and put the syrup on the bottom. It's also getting to be where you don't need a human any more, dare I say it. Even Chevron has an automatic espresso maker, and soo there will be a day when there will be no more baristas, only a space with automatic coffeemakers that do everything; thus eliminating the need to tip. Today's barista's just fill the machine with beans, push a couple of buttons, and put the coffee in the milk and they're done. $25.00 an hour for that? No way. That's not even a skill. Heck, I used to do that as a cook but I didn't demand from the customers that they pay all my bills for me.

Standard Starbucks in a convenient location…read more The cashier and baristas were super nice and helpful. My order was correct and drink was made perfect with light ice! I appreciate they have drive thru option and free parking in front next to the gas station and a taco truck. Inside there is no seating but they have a wide table you could stand and eat quick if needed. Condiment bar in the lobby with trash can, utensils, napkins, all the usual stuff. I walked in around 12 lunch time and they had plenty of lunch and breakfast food items still available. However my experience parking in front wasn't fun so maybe just do the drive thru if you don't want your door hit or to worry about that. The customers here are rude. This woman flung her door in anger after she zoomed into the spot next to me and I could tell if I didn't back up right away which I already was beginning to until she sped into the spot to my right she would probably hit my door. So I backed out immediately after she parked and she looked mad I didn't wait for her to exit her car and she flung her door wide open angrily. Luckily I backed out or like I said she would've hit my door and that would have been a situation...not Starbucks fault people suck. But keep in mind drive thru is the better option here. Thank you to this location for a good drink on 01/19/25 around 12 lunch time! :)
