A fun and tasty place to spend all your money! Had a tasty breakfast here, the ricotta and honey on toast was light but very yummy. The strawberry lemonade muffin tasted light and moist. My partner's breakfast McMuffin had a lot of sausage and hit the spot. Fun to browse around and stock up on a few favorite condiments and try some new things, the fresh pasta was excellent later that night

I love their muffins! The vegan brownie is surprisingly good. I'm not as much a fan of their mac cheese, though.

Mainstay Provisions is one of my friend's go-to spots, so I had to check it out with her. We arrived on a rainy Saturday around 1pm, there were several open tables and only a few people in line. The interior is really cute and arranged with a small fancy grocery area as well. We had fun perusing the goods while we waited for our food. We all ordered one of the breakfast sandwich options, I had the McMainstay and the other two ordered the Bacon with avocado. The McMainstay was very similar to the build of a McMuffin, with sausage, egg, and American Cheese. The bacon breakfast sandwich had some nice color with the arugula and the added avocado. Though delicious, the sandwiches are pretty pricey for their size. Approx. $10 per breakfast sandwich.

I absolutely love this market/cafe spot! I came here on a whim and wasn't disappointed. The employees were extremely nice and the building was so cute especially since it was a nice day out. I ordered an iced matcha lemonade which was amazing and a chocolate chip cookie they was the right amount of sweetness! The market side of Mainstay provisions has so many tasting looking snacks and wines. I was able to get a nice orange wine and the selection was pretty diverse!

Food was 5 star as was the coffee but for some reason during busy breakfast time some older gentleman stock boy felt it appropriate to re tag every item next to us along with slamming every door in sight. Ambiance sucked, food ruled.

My wife and I found Mainstay while walking down the street close to our Airbnb. We saw people eating pizza so we decided to stop in. It turns out they also do coffee and ice cream. It was close to closing time so we had to get our pizza to go. While we waited for our pizza, I had their root beer float with ice cream swirled. I enjoyed my root beer float but my root beer wasn't cold. It was cold when it hit the ice cream but before that, it was not. For our pizza, we had half of Chick of the Sea and half cheese. The Chick of the Sea was Mainstay's take on BBQ chicken pizza. It came with a BBQ sauce base. It had chicken, red onion, jalapeños, and some kind of tangy sauce on top. I really enjoyed this pizza. Good pizza and ice cream - stop here!

Great breakfast sandwiches! They bake their own English muffins and sour dough bread. They also have cookies and granola. Mainstay offers casual in-house seating and a few outdoor tables. A cute place with a selection of gourmet crackers, dried pasta, seasonings, condiments, and a selection of American, French, and Italian wines. Service is friendly and speedy. The breakfast sandwiches, Chicken curry sandwich, and Mochas were delish!!!

Latte was fantastic! Loved the vibes of this coffee shop on a rainy day in Seattle! I highly recommend if you're nearby looking for a quick bite and a coffee. Would definitely go back!

Cute neighborhood spot for a casual bite and a great selection of specialty food items. It's always busy so be prepared for a line though!

Cardoon - Beautiful multi layered honey cake

We've lived here for years and I cannot believe it took us this long to try Cardoon. What a GEM!!!…read more The interior is cozy, fun, and relaxed. It's definitely one of those places that immediately makes you want to settle in and stay awhile (and we had no power so, we certainly did!). Everything we ordered was delicious, and the drinks were super unique and incredibly smooth. But I NEED to talk about the rose cookie. I have literally been dreaming about it. No exaggeration. It was that good. Perfectly delicate, fragrant, and memorable in a way that makes you immediately want another one. The service was lovely, the atmosphere was great, and the food and drinks were outstanding. Truly such an incredible spot and I'm already looking forward to going back. There was also a special Makeworth espresso shot that tasted like watermelon SO unique, do try it if you're into adventurous espresso!

My husband and I walk past Cardoon all the time, so one day we finally stopped in. The cafe is cute and cozy and makes good use of a small space with benches along the walls and low tables. It's not the kind of cafe you would work on your laptop for hours from, but instead meet a friend or read a book. They were out of chocolate chip cookies when we arrived, but the barista said they had a new batch in the oven if I could wait 30 minutes. I waited, and boy was it worth the wait. The cookie was warm and gooey, while still crispy on the edges. There are pools of dark chocolate and flakes of sea salt, and undertones of anise, making it a delectable cookie. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back to try some drinks!

The music was at that perfect volume where it adds energy to the space but still lets you have an easy conversation -- an underrated detail that makes a big difference. You know it's a great meal when you're already talking about what you want to order next time before the table is cleared. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuine without hovering. This is the kind of spot you get excited to bring friends to because you know it will deliver. Fantastic for brunch or dinner, and easily a place we'll keep in regular rotation. Highly recommend.

Happy hour is a great deal! Cons, some of the food prices. $25 for a chicken skewer? And $75 for three??? This isn't wagyu or sirloin, how is a chicken skewer this expensive? Once again, lovely space but some of the price selections makes you question them.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! I originally planned to just grab a coffee and a croissant, but after noticing how popular the mushroom Gruyere croissant seemed, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, perfectly filling, and even better when warmed up. The staff member kindly offered to heat it for me, which really elevated the whole experience. While they serve Umbria coffee, which isn't my personal favorite, the food more than made up for it. The service was warm and friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try the mushroom croissant again or maybe explore some of their other pastries next time.

How I heard of this place: Their soft then grand opening was in a space previously called One Cup,…read moreand while driving by one lone afternoon, we found that ownership and name had changed. We were thrilled to discover it's new management's plans and community, service oriented nature - not to mention their excellent breakfast sandwiches and good beverages! Type of cuisine: Cafe fare - espresso beverages, as well as non-caffeinated items for kids and those who prefer not to partake. Breakfast sandwiches, burritos, pastries. Ambiance: Large, expansive and spacious. There is a small patio with outdoor seating available, should you prefer to dine facing Aurora's traffic congestion. But inside, office furniture helps create separte-feeling booth-like seating with small coffee/end tables for your purchases. Large tables, too, conference sized grace the main space for those wishing to work alone on devices, or engage in conversation among friends and family. An open area also exists, accounting for about one-third of the entire room, which allows for gathering while standing, as well as providing ample space for lines to grow and distance to be maintained (covid-safe). What I ordered: On most ever visit, I stick with my favorites: the bacon breakfast sandwich (if you like the bacon crispy, as that it be cooked out of the sandwich and alongside then placed inside), the sweet potato scone, the sausauge breakfast sandwich and the slightly spicy, vegan potato, bean burrito. My beverage of choice is the Melanin Mocha (dark chocolate moch), though I've also ordered the blackberry mocha, and a couple of others. My husband always sticks with The Karen (white chocolate mocha), while our children enjoy a cup of steamed milk with caramel sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles with their food. What I loved: Everything about this place; namely its mission and complete devotion to the youth and community. Empowerment is strong in this space and the food and drinks are a bonus that amplify and support the work being done. Why I loved it: For all of the reasons listed above - and more. Cost: Average
