So so good! The girls here are so friendly and super quick! One of the best iced vanilla lattes I've had in a while. This shop is a bit out of the way from my apartment, but I would definitely make the drive again! One of the few coffee shops in Seattle with a drive-thru, so that was a huge plus for me! read more

Went here Dec. 5th had never been so full 1st timer. Looked GREAT from the photos.... However, the Girl working there there (not making the drinks) but taking my order Mr was just simply incredibly rude. After struggling to get through the 1st drink order which I had to repeat multiple times. When o went to order a drink for my Partner who had just had a baby a week ago and was so looking forward to this. It's like I insulted Her when I said "may I please order another drink"??? Really don't like leaving a bad review on a small business like this but the way I was treated was unacceptable. To think she might have treated my partner this way had she walked up to get the coffees is sad and kinda scary:(. Hope this helps. They have a drive up window that can fit three cars in line and a walk up window. They were busy on a late Friday morning. I ordered the matcha latte with oatmilk, my boyfriend had the caramel latte. Both of our beverages were great. Mine had just enough sweetness, I love the earthy flavor of matcha. My boyfriend's caramel was well mixed into his coffee. We actually came back again another morning for more! I love that they also give you a complimentary chocolate coffee bean. What a sweet treat. read more

What a fantastic experience at this drive-thru coffee shop! They have a very big, unique menu and if you love having new experiences, you'll never run out of them at this place. I like that they also have a few seats and some parking spaces out in front, should you choose to enjoy your coffee there. And then my drink came with a little chocolate coated expresso bean!? Now I want to move to Pinehurst just so that I can swing by every day! read more

On Sunday (8/17) afternoon around 4pm I decided to introduce my friend to the neighborhood coffee shop. It's generally been pretty "meh" but this time it was awful. We ordered our drinks and noticed that the outside seating was all put away. We asked for a couple of chairs, or at least one chair for my friend, holding her 5 week old baby, to sit in the shade of the outdoor seating area while we chatted with our drinks. The barista complained that there was only 45 minutes until she was closing up and that would make her job harder. My friend pointed out that we were paying customers and that she had a tiny baby who needed to nurse. We should have cancelled our order and gone across the way to Zylberschtein's. It's more expensive but the food and drink are always good and the folks are always kind. My friend wasn't comfortable walking much in the sun so early postpartum and with such a tiny baby, so we stayed. The barista finally relented and brought a single chair out for her to sit on. We'll never go back. And I will tell my friends not to go. As a former barista myself, I cannot condone this place anymore. Not when there's anything else. read more

My go to coffee spot! I go to Kjs probably a little too much. Great for walk up service and drive thru. All the baristas are incredibly kind. Whenever I walk my pup they will give him a treat. All of their seasonal drinks are delicious. I almost never get the same thing there just because I want to try everything!!! read more

I am extremely thankful giddy sloth opened up nearby. The fact KJs has anything over 2 stars is beyond me. I've never had a good cup of coffee from KJs. I kept having hope that when I went it was an off day so I went back at least 10 times. KJs cold brew tastes just like the plastic bag it comes out of. Then, if you ask for a splash of almond milk they charge you a dollar for absolutely disgusting almond milk. I looked up the brand of almond milk they use and did the math. For 12 cartons it costs them $16. There is no reason they should be charging an entire dollar for no more than 16¢ worth of almond milk. Every single time I've gotten a latte the espresso is burnt and so is the milk. Also, every employee is rude. The coffee is extremely overpriced. I started going to Starbucks inside the Safeway nearby because it's actually SIGNIFICANTLY better and cheaper (which isn't saying much because it also pretty bad and expensive). Seriously avoid KJs at all costs read more

Oh my god coffee is decent if/when they make it correctly but why do all the baristas at this establishment act like they're allergic to talking to you!! This is my neighborhood coffee stand, most convenient for me to go to, but I always try to avoid it because the baristas remind me of mean middle school girls. I don't think I've ever been to a coffee shop where the barista didn't greet me or tell me to have a nice day, across every coffee shop I've ever been to, and it happens every time here. Bad vibes. It honestly seems like they aren't trained or management is seeking out baristas with 0 people skills. read more

So. many. choices! Finally trying this cute gem after attempting many times before....they have select hours people! Friendly faces, a walk up or drive thru option, and yummy treats. Tried their mocha special...forgot the name, but had with soy and half the sweetener. It was perfect in taste (no bitter espresso), smooth and just the hint of sweetness I needed. Truly perfection in a cute cup. Loved they added chocolate covered espresso beans on my coffee cup lid which melted the bottom of the bean. Gooey smooth rich chocolate goodness. The croissant breakfast sandwich was good and filling. The croissant isn't crispy and flaky, but still very good. Loved the egg and thin sliced ham too. read more

Stumbled upon this coffee shop when it opened a handful of months back. The owner KJ is incredible! She is so sweet and so friendly and she just makes you want to come back. I miss local coffee shops like this with incredible barista's who make you feel so welcome it feels like in Seattle Customer Service has dropped tremendously. What a fantastic, little coffee shop! I randomly stopped here in between work meetings and I'm so glad I did. First, the two people working there were so nice; I told them it was my first time in Seattle and they were so nice to chat with me and give me recommendations of things to do in the area. I tried one of their speciality lattes - and it was delicious. I would highly recommend stopping at KJ's Koffee if you are in the area. read more

Stopped by to check out the new coffee shop that opened up. It's great that they have an outdoor walk up window for COVID safety. There is an array of coffees and beverages that I'm curious to try out. The woman who works here, KJ, was super friendly and personable. The coffee drinks come with some espresso bean candies which is a nice touch, and KJ gave our dogs some treats. I also got a breakfast burrito (sausage and bacon were available) - it is just a pretty normal frozen burrito, but for $3 I have no complaints! There is a credit card fee of $0.35 for all cc transactions (at least for now) read more

The location of this place is nice, it's on the way to most places I visit. But a few of the girls that work here need a serious attitude check. Ive worked in coffee stands so I understand it can get stressful, but don't ask me questions and then walk away from the window. I had to repeat my answers multiple times to ALL of her questions. I don't think I've had anyone here ask me anything expect for what I want to drink. I have not tipped here on many occasions cause the service I receive is not good whatsoever read more

Best coffee I ever had in months! I said months, mainly because I only drink Matcha, because it was not available. I had to get regular latte. Very friendly staff. Caffé D'arte coffee is served there and it's very tasty :) They have a drive thru and a walk-up window. My only complaint is they charge .80 cents for plant-based milk alternatives which is usually a splash on a coffee or cold brew. I can see an up charge being reasonable for milk-based bevs like a latte or cappuccino but this is probably why I don't go to many of these coffee shops regularly. It sounds nitpicky, but when you slap on tax, tip and adding sugar charge to coffee, it makes the price jump significantly to be a regular visit and if you want to keep on a decent coffee budget. Service is very friendly -- the Costa Rican "pura vida" vibe transplants nicely to Seattle. Options vary from modestly priced basic coffee drinks (around $4) to some true luxury choices (around $9). The rarer, high-end coffees vary. If you want to treat yourself to an unusually good coffee, ask "what do have that's special today?" -- odds are, there will be something unique for you to try that may not be on their menu. Pastries are homemade and delicious. Be kind about the small space, and street parking. The owners rented what they could afford for their start-up.

When you get one this big, it tastes like mostly milk, so I have them make three long shots and put the syrup on the bottom. It's also getting to be where you don't need a human any more, dare I say it. Even Chevron has an automatic espresso maker, and soo there will be a day when there will be no more baristas, only a space with automatic coffeemakers that do everything; thus eliminating the need to tip. Today's barista's just fill the machine with beans, push a couple of buttons, and put the coffee in the milk and they're done. $25.00 an hour for that? No way. That's not even a skill. Heck, I used to do that as a cook but I didn't demand from the customers that they pay all my bills for me.

I appreciate they have drive thru option and free parking in front next to the gas station and a taco truck. Inside there is no seating but they have a wide table you could stand and eat quick if needed. Condiment bar in the lobby with trash can, utensils, napkins, all the usual stuff. I walked in around 12 lunch time and they had plenty of lunch and breakfast food items still available. However my experience parking in front wasn't fun so maybe just do the drive thru if you don't want your door hit or to worry about that. The customers here are rude. This woman flung her door in anger after she zoomed into the spot next to me and I could tell if I didn't back up right away which I already was beginning to until she sped into the spot to my right she would probably hit my door. So I backed out immediately after she parked and she looked mad I didn't wait for her to exit her car and she flung her door wide open angrily. Luckily I backed out or like I said she would've hit my door and that would have been a situation...not Starbucks fault people suck. But keep in mind drive thru is the better option here. Thank you to this location for a good drink on 01/19/25 around 12 lunch time! :)
