Overall it is a nice place for breakfast. The pice is fair and the servings are generous. The restaurant itself is rather small and there was a wait of 5-15 mins. I had the California Benedict and my guy had the serloin stake breakfast burrito. The stake was cut too big and it needed more egg and something else inside like pico de gallo or tomato salsa and some cream cheese or sour cream on the side for some more flavor. The Benedict was done well but the turkey was just cut lunch meat. The eggs were not over cooked though and the potato side was nice and simple. HOLY COW. I am soooo glad I trusted my fellow Yelpers and my gut instinct and tried this little gem. Dined here on a busy Sunday around 1:00. I had my best friends 9 year old daughter with me so we decided to have a quick brunch before going out for the day. My little buddy got a kids meal chicken tenders and fries and she loved it. I came here specifically for the banana bread french toast, as per the reviews. I was soooo terrified it would have nuts in it so right when we sat down I inquired about that and to my shock there were NO NUTS in the banana bread. AMENNN! Not due to an allergy but simply bc I hate nuts in my banana bread(I know some are shocked at me rn) I was starving mind you and was so excited about my BBFT that I didn't even look at the menu. My waitress was ADORABLE, unfortunately I cannot remember her name bc I'm an ass. She asked if I would like to make my BBFT a combo, uh YES PLEASE! I asked for my 3 bacon to be on the softer side and 2 eggs scrambled. Food came out quite fast even though they were pretty busy. You guys.... IT WAS AMAZING. The BBFT came out in 2 over an inch thick slices with to-die-for cinnamon butter, and cooked perfectly eggy and crispy at the same time. ORDER YOURS WELL DONE IF YOU DONT LIKE EGG-Y FT!! Syrup was so deliciously warm on the side too it made my soul sing. Bacon was cooked to perfection and my eggs were great. I ate every last frickin bite of this meal. Howdy y'all. This is the second time I've had breakfast here. I just forgot to review it the first time. Bottom line is go check it out. I think you will be good with it. The place: It's very clean and looks like it's been redone in the last few years. Bathrooms are single seaters, so no group outings together, sorry... The kitchen looks pretty well maintained and cleaned. Wait staff is hit or miss here. Our waitress the first time was very good and came by the table a lot. The one today was too side tracked looking at one of the other ladies phones and discussing a post/text. I had to flag her down to get a se one cup of coffee and another item. Food is good, not amazing or very good - it rates above a standard diner I would go to. Good example - hash browns are a thing with me. If they slap them on the grill, flip em once and serve. Those are not cooked properly. They have to toss them around at least once for me to OK them as real hash BROWNS. I like Chile relleno type breakfasts on occasion, so that's what I got today. The rellenos and chili were good, scrambled eggs a bit over cooked. My wife had the Denver omelet and a side of biscuits and gravy. Her omelet was a bit over cooked too. The gravy tasted like a powder mix, but I can't be sure. It was decent enough for me to not know. There was no salt in anything. But, that is easy enough to fix. In general, I would go back again without worry. Nothing we had would be considered negative on the edibility scale. Pretty much the same as the first time we ate there. A big bonus is the food prices are good., as noted by some of my Elite colleagues, most items are under $10. One parting note - Coffee is expensive IMO at $2.50 for a cup. Fun place for breakfast! The inside has definitely been redone recently. The inside is much nicer than the outside. Food was delicious! I ordered the steak breakfast skillet with gravy covered biscuit on the side. I wished everything had been a little more seasoned... the eggs and gravy definitely needed salt. It's my first time visiting this area and wanted a late breakfast (noontime). Wow! So glad I tried this place! I had the Hungry Man, which comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and a choice of toast, pancakes or biscuit and gravy ($12.99). I love good biscuits and gravy so I had to try these. All of the food was cooked perfectly and was hot when it came out. I'm pretty critical about biscuits and gravy - had a lot of really bad ones - but this was excellent. They use "pepper gravy" here, while a lot of places I've been to use "sausage gravy". I loved it! Also, great coffee, which they kept refilling (much appreciated!). What's better than getting brunch on a warm, lazy, Sunday morning? Nothing so let's talk brunch! We didn't want to wait hours in line at Snooze or Egg and I so we decided to check this place out. It's a family owned small place that had a ton of people. The wait was about 5 minutes and we were quickly seated at the bar. Goody's served your typical American diner brunch food like omelets, waffles, biscuit and gravy. It's not a specialty place like Snooze so if you want your fancy benedicts or espresso coffees or bloody marys you can't find it here. But if you are down for a hearty brunch that will satisfy you well into dinner time, this is the place. I ordered fried chicken steak which comes with a side of biscuit and gravy. I appreciated that the steak came in bite sided pieces already so I didn't have to cut it. The chicken was topped with a layer of hash browns and gravy. I do have one complaint which is that the food came with way too much onions. I usually love onions but not when every bite has onion overload. Also the gravy was a bit much because it made me not even eat my biscuit and gravy because it was the same type of white gravy on both dishes. I should have gotten something else on the side. Also if you wanted to replace the biscuit with waffles, you have to purchase it separately..which is a bit silly because waffles don't cost that much. I would have given this place 4 stars for the portion of food (it was massive!) and the homey diner feeling but they took extraordinarily long to serve the food so I am taking a star off for that. Had breakfast here on Christmas Eve morning with my wife. Having moved to the area 3 days earlier, there was still a little Christmas shopping to do for the kids and we thought a nice breakfast out before we hit the stores would be nice. So, I turned to my fellow Yelpers for some guidance. We arrived a little after they opened (at 7 am) and were met with a clean, spacious lay-out and friendly waitress. We chose a booth and decided on our dishes. I went with the traditional biscuits & gravy, bacon, and eggs. But the wife chose the Banana Bread French Toast. Both were excellent! Service and food were on point. But get this... After our meal was finished we lingered and continued our conversation. The waitress came and told us that another patron was picking up the bill for everyone in the restaurant! How cool is that?! We were already impressed but this was icing on the cake! Moving 1,000 miles away is very daunting. This was our first outing in the area and it was an awesome experience. I'm hoping the rest of Denver metro has such amazing people (and food!). It's only been open a few weeks if that so we thought we would give it a shot. We really liked the new remodel. Really opens up the place. Lots of yellow. Wasn't busy at all today and only two waitresses. Menu looks decent but was disappointed they have no meat skillet. Denver is a meat skillet town. Any way I ordered the Belgian waffle and eggs combo. My brother got the bisquits and gravy. He ordered scrambled and I ordered over medium and of course the waitress screwed that up. That being said the cook or owner not sure who he was actually but he came out and apologized for the screw up. Which made me happy to see. The food it self was ok the service was kinda weak for us and one other guy being the only ones in the restaurant. Shouldn't have to wait very long when you only have two customers and one is waiting for his bill. From the looks the owner or manager is really young and in a learning process. Overall the food was good and they did a really great job remodeling the place that was a borderline dump before. I will probably give it another shot. Just.. WOW! My wife and I had breakfast today at Goody's and it was amazing. The inside is very nice and modern. The wait staff is very friendly. The food... amazing! They give you a good amount of choices and food! The quality? Really good! Very tasty. I had a steak burrito stuffed with eggs, hash browns, and steak. Smothered with cheese and green chili. It comes with freshly cut hash browns and sautéed green bell peppers and onions, melted cheddar jack cheese, a tortilla topped with two eggs and their famous Goody's green chile. My sister ordered the Banana Bread French Toast. Three generous pieces of their signature homemade banana bread dipped in sweet egg batter and grilled to perfection, topped with cinnamon butter. Oh my..... Goody's Eatery is a locally owned and family operated business. They serve locally sourced, fresh ingredients and prepare all of the meals from scratch. They literally peel by hand, every potato that is served. They make, bottle and sell their own homemade Green Chili! This restaurant is certainly a must. In a word, Breakfast. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Delicious and Nicely Presented. Whoever thought up making French Toast out of Banana Bread should be awarded a trophy. It was AMAZING. Prices are very reasonable. We got a table right away. The waitress was fine. However we felt like we were being a little rushed out. It was around 10 AM on a Saturday. There were people waiting to be seated - so I understand why she wanted to flip the table. I read a Yelp review that said there wasn't enough parking. They were right.
