In a word, Breakfast. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Delicious and Nicely Presented. Whoever thought up making French Toast out of Banana Bread should be awarded a trophy. It was AMAZING. Prices are very reasonable. We got a table right away. The waitress was fine. However we felt like we were being a little rushed out. It was around 10 AM on a Saturday. There were people waiting to be seated - so I understand why she wanted to flip the table. I read a Yelp review that said there wasn't enough parking. They were right. But that is the only negative thing about the place. Looking forward to going there again. Try it for yourself. read more

If you are looking for breakfast with a decent price in a cozy environment then this is your place. A good friend and I stopped in for a late breakfast around noon and we couldn't have been more pleased. I ordered the Banana Bread French toast, and it was every bit as amazing as I could imagine. The cinnamon butter slowly melted into the banana bread giving it the most delicious flavor combination, the banana bread was a thick and hearty slice to make sure you didn't leave hungry. Went there today for breakfast around 10am. Waited about 10 minutes for a table for 2. There really isn't a good waiting area, so we stood outside. Anyone who waits inside seems to get in the way of the people working (especially if it's a large group). The service was fast and the food was delicious. I had the California Benedict which had good flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The hash browns were good, but kind of plain. My fiancé had the banana bread french toast, which I tasted...and it was amazing. Such a great idea! Drinks are pretty cheap too. We had $4 mimosas (pear and peach, yum!). Overall, our meal and drinks only cost about $27 (without tip), which I think is pretty reasonable for breakfast. I'd definitely go to Goody's again, but I wish they had a different layout for customers who are waiting. read more

Goody's Eatery gives that classic diner vibe that's just hard to hate. I came here with some friends for a Saturday morning breakfast, and the wait staff was quick to arrange the tables for our party of 8. Our waitress was patient as a few people were late, and quick to refill beverages as they ran low. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was pretty good, albeit nothing special and I would order something else next time. The green chili was quite good though, so I would recommend that. My only complaint was that I am pretty sure I saw the table next to us get containers to take their leftovers home, and they were styrofoam, which is automatically a max of four stars to me. Other than that minor issue, it was a great place to get breakfast, and even though we left around 10 AM, there still wasn't a line, which can't be said for a lot of places. Unless you want to have your food incredibly over cooked, steer clear of Goodys. My "poached " egg was cooked through completely. I tried to send it back and was told the cook it that way on purpose for health concerns. A normal poached egg is apparently undercooked. read more

Very kind staff, but was very busy when we went. However, the food came out fairly quickly and was delicious. Hot cocoa wasn't very good, kind of watery... I asked for the banana bread french toast combo with egg whites and sausage links & was a bit sad when I got a very very small amount of egg whites. But, the French toast made up for that! It was amazing and very unique. I am a banana bread lover so it blew me away. If you're in town, make sure to try that out! read more

I had heard that this was a really good place for breakfast, so I took my granddaughter in one Sunday morning. Breakfast for both of us was just a little shy of $40! That did not include the tip, which I willingly gave because our server was great! All this being said, they did make my granddaughter a special order of chocolate chips in her pancakes. She loved them! I was not happy with the chicken fried steak. It seemed to be just a patty breaded, and no crispiness to the coating, then covered with a bland gravy. I added extra black pepper. Everything else was good! Not sure that we are going back as that is a bit high for my budget. read more

Excellent spot for breakfast! The restaurant is clean and modern on the inside. We were seated quickly even though it was busy, and the service was prompt and friendly. My friend, who judges a good restaurant by the cleanliness of their bathroom, used the restroom before we were seated. She came back saying she knew this place was going to be good. She was right. We both ordered the farmhouse skillet - one with bacon and one with ham. She chose the biscuits and gravy as her side, and I opted to pay extra for a piece of the banana bread French toast. It was worth the extra. The skillet was delicious- cooked to perfection and flavorful. The BBFT with cinnamon whipped butter- there are no words. Just order it. You won't regret it. Portions are large, coffee was refilled promptly, and although the parking area was small, I can see why it was overflowing. A great little find!! read more

Went here because of the high reviews. Definitely not a 4 star place. The service was good and Bloody Marys as well BUT the food was nothing spectacular at all. This breakfast was delicious! I got the banana bread French toast and it was perfectly cooked, and a good banana flavor. My son got the funfetti pancakes and he loved the face made with the frosting. We were all eating bites off his pancakes just to taste the yummy cream cheese frosting. Other dishes we ordered were more egg-based and everyone said it was all yummy!
