It's a real grab and get a sammich location. The name kind of confusing from Mr. Goodcents. The luncheon meat was fresh and the veggies were as well. It's in a neat little shopping area and if going to fast you pass. The size of sammich was a 12" loaded on the inside. Goodcents is large even for maybe an office lunch but not a group dinner over 5. I will say it is my preference over a few other sandwich locations and it's close to home. I would give it a try and see what you think. Ordered 2 sandwiches for pickup. On the 8inch BLT they left off the bacon. Called when I returned home with my food. They are open during the covid-19 pandemic. Get you meal to go or have door dash deliver it. This is an average sandwich shop. Nothing here really stands out to me. No different than a subway. If you need a quick meal this place will do. But don't expect an amazing product. read more

My dine-in lunch experience was much better this time than it was over five years ago. I liked the delicious oven roasted chicken sandwich with fresh wheat bread and and my choices of many fresh toppings. I also liked the fast, friendly and cheerful service at the counter. There seemed to be a little skimping on the meat and the receipt wasn't itemized, but overall I'm thinking 3.5 stars stars and rounding up. read more

Hadn't been to a Goodcents in a while. They brought back the buffalo chicken and it was delicious. They use quality rotisserie chicken with great buffalo sauce all toasted with choice of cheese. You'll want pepper jack. The three people working were so friendly and helpful. What makes a good sub? What a perplexing question. Ham is ham, right? Cheese is cheese? There isn't much you can do with lettuce or tomatoes to make them stand out. So what makes a sub stand out? I think it has to do with the add-ons such as sauces, the freshness and the bread. Whatever it is... Goodcents has the "It" factor. In the sub wars... this place is heads and shoulders above the rest. Goodcents is so much better than their competitors. This store on College Blvd is a nice store. I get the impression it is family owned and everyone is friendly and fast. The servers who have waited on me in my visits have been top notch. They do not scoff at my special requests and some have even smiled at my particular nature. Yes, I am that kind of customer but I do it nicely and with a smile. This store is clean, easily accessible and they have good parking. The also have my favorite thing of all- the beverage machine that lets you make your own and mix things up from one spout. The service is fast and friendly which is always a plus. I usually use the app to order which always is convenient. The price is right for what you get and nothing is overpriced. I enjoy coming to this store and all my subs have been very tasty and fresh. This store is always busy and this is a great sign for a restaurant. Highly recommended restaurant! read more

The sandwiches where good except forgot to put wanted toasted on my web order, called to have that done right after the order however the person talked to very bad english could not understad her on the phone half the time, when i picked it up brought it home found was not toasted just need to make sure to add comments on future orders as have in the past. read more

Man, my boy Tony here is probably the most upbeat customer service friendly person I've ever met. The other ladies who work here are great too, but honestly if you're having a stressful day and want to have some positivity shoved in your face(plus on point food) this is the place! Honestly I want to be annoyed sometimes when I come here but I always leave feeling better and with a smile on my face after interacting with Tony and staff here. The workers wouldn't listen to me saying I wanted Mayo on my sandwich and tried to make me pay separately from the people I was with who said it was all together. Put tomatoes on my sandwich when I said I wanted lettuce it was a very quiet afternoon and I was speaking very clearly. I'm severally allergic to tomatoes. Multiple employees making sandwiches and then using the cash register with their gloves on? All of this after they carry the huge hunks of meat from the fridge and back and gleefully slice all that bacteria infested meat and cheese with their hands baptised in dirty money from the register? After visiting this place, I was made aware of how awesome the Goodcents by my office in Lawrence. And that Goodcents is good but not great. Don't mind the fact that I ordered a very simple pasta and meatballs...I meant chicken Alfredo pasta. Or at least that's what they seemed to think. Of course, I didn't notice this until I got home...and I really don't like Alfredo. There were three devices used to heat up my simple yet incorrect meals - microwave, speedy pasta heater and oven. The only thing put in the oven was THE least important aspect - the breadstick. I understand microwaves are used in cooking...you just don't need to make it so obvious that my chicken (which I didn't want as I am not a big chicken fan) was heated in the microwave. But again...all I saw was the unit, not the meat, unfortunately. I don't normally rant like this. But come on...it's not that hard to get an order right, especially when I am the only customer. And especially when they charge $7 for a simple pasta dish. I won't be returning to this location anytime soon. Fin. read more

Terrible service! 1 is the lowest you could go or I would choose 0. Owner's don't listen to what you are saying even when you say it multiple times. They couldn't find my order and it turns out they gave to someone else and that customer left with it and came back after seeing it wasn't their name and they put it in a new bag and gave it to me and didn't even offer to make me a new one even though that one had left the building and they don't know what could have been done to it. I would like to let you know about my experience today. I went online to order a pick up and when the gentleman who picked the order up got back to work and I opened up the sandwich it looked like dried fried hamburger!!!! I not only ordered this sandwich but i ordered the Chipolte Chicken sandwich with double chicken, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, onions and spicy ranch. So I called and asked to speak to the manager and and young man by the name of Tony came on the line. I explained the situation and gave him my ticket number(Ticket not in the system???) Tony then said i could get the right sandwich if i would come and pick it up. I think not!!!!! So Tony asked the owner and it was delivered (dropped off at the front desk so it couldn't be checked). Guess what I got????? Wheat bread, Spicy Ranch and chicken(not double meat as ordered). I guess the lettuce, onion and cheese got lost. Once again i called and they let the phone ring and ring because the recognized the number. If i could give them a zero I would.. I can't believe someone does business this way. I would have to say that I love their food. I hate their customer service. I acidently put in the wrong address and they made my work feel terrible and never smiled once. I tried to call and tell them that it was a mistake and they never picked up the phone. It rang for about 30 rings and no answer.
