We each enjoyed one slice and were completely stuffed so we took the remaining pizza home and ate on it for three days. My goodness this is a sleeper it's been at our door step since we moved to KC. If you you are from the CHI this is definitely where you need to be.... This is the best Chicago style pizza in the city hands down.. I thought Rosatis was the one since Giradanos or Lou's isn't here yet.. My wife and I made the track across town to check out Third Coast Pizza as we saw they had a good deep dish on Yelp. The gal working at the restaurant (by herself) was the cashier, the cook and the cleaning crew. Bless her heart! She did a great job and took wonderful care of us. I started off with a small side salad, which was very good. Then my wife ordered an Italian beef sandwich which she said was tasty, but not the best one she ever had. I ordered a deep dish Chicago pizza for us and we enjoyed it. The crust was cracker thin, but still held all of the toppings. The sauce on the top of the dish was just delicious! I bet their regular crust pizza is excellent as well. If you're looking for a good pie in the neighborhood, this is your spot. read more

It's personal and authentic, the kind of place that feels lived-in. Now, the food: * Regular crust pizza: bland. The crust lacks flavor, and the sauce could use more punch. Needs more seasoning or depth to make it memorable. * Meatball grinder: good portion size and plenty of cheese, but the meatballs themselves fall flat -- could use salt, herbs, maybe a touch of garlic. This is an amazing restaurant. I had the Windy City pizza. I had the 10" deep dish and I swear it had to be 1 1/2" thick! That's the smallest size and afterwards I was told it feeds 2-3 people. I could only eat 1 1/2 pieces got a box for the rest. So good and filling! They have a menu with other Italian dishes besides pizza. I want to try it all eventually. You order at the counter after you are seated and look at the menu. You get your drinks and they bring the food to your table. There is a bar next door where you can have wine and cocktails and you can order your food from there as well. The price is really reasonable with a huge serving. The people are really friendly and I think they might be family. There were only three of them but so organized and timely. We will return for sure. read more

Second time in two weeks! Deep dish pizza is amazing! If you got two people you only need a small. Of course we also had a Chicago dog each. This time I had the Italian sandwich which was delicious and my boyfriend had the Chicago dog and we each had a side Caesar Salad. I have to say that the carrot cake is the best I've ever had in my life and I am definitely a carrot cake connoisseur. It is moist and flavorful and it has the perfect proportion of cream cheese frosting in every bite. Is their grandmother's recipe and it is unbelievably amazing. Ordered delivery from Third Coast Pizza for dinner tonight. I tried the Coney Island chili dog and the Chicago dog. Both were very good although I would probably get two Chicago dogs next time. We ordered the Windy City deep dish style. Good thick tomato sauce that is really concentrated. Board line too much cheese and good quality toppings which is what you want with Chicago style pizza. However, crust is cracker like a Pizza Shoppe crust which is different then other Chicago style pizza places. There was also something gritty in the cheese, like too much of that powder that makes cheese not stick together. We got mozzarella sticks too, nothing special but fired perfectly. The people who work here are so sweet. The first time I tried it I thought I must have come on a good day because they were in such good moods. Every time since though it's been the same sweet reception while picking up My order! Don't get me wrong the pizza here is good but the real money is in the carrot cake. The carrot cake is so good that we went back and bought a whole one. Even if you don't lie carrot cake I dare you to take a slice home. First time here today. Location is in a strip mall. Plenty of seating. My wife and I shared a small deep dish Windy City pizza. It was really good. The sauce was awesome. Glad the cashier downsized our large to a small because it was a lot of pizza for two people. House salad was nice and has several ingredients in it. Prices were good. They don't offer beer or wine but you can bring in your own. Some guests had coolers and bottles of wine. I went to Casey's across the street for a 6 pack while our pizza cooked. My buddy just moved into the area and happened upon this restaurant while exploring the area. Had talked it up so I gave it a try. Having gone here now on two occasions I have nothing but good things to say!! The food is freshly made to order. Pizza is light and airy crusted with delicious toppings. I live in the area and had wanted to try this place for a while. Don't know why I waited so long--I loved this food! Two of us split a large Caesar salad. It was delicious. Some of the best dressing I've had; it wasn't fishy tasting at all, just garlicky goodness. We also shared a 10-inch deep dish pizza. It was fabulous! However, we ended up taking half of it home--it was very filling. The dining area was simple, wooden benches and chairs with tables. A couple of TVs on the wall had college football games on.
