I picked up a to-go order, and seeing that there was nobody really in the parking lot, I go ahead and head in thinking my order might be ready a bit early. To start things off, there were zero employees behind the counter. Another customer and I were standing there waiting for a good 2-3 minutes without being acknowledged, and we could hear all the employees in the kitchen talking and having a great time. It took one of us yelling "hello" to get someone's attention, and even then it took them awhile to come out and acknowledge us. After someone finally came to the register, the guy said absolutely nothing. Just stared at us like we had some nerve to bother him at his place of work. I was a little unnerved, but said "hi! I'm just picking up a to-go order". Still saying nothing, he looked at me, looked at the pickup orders, and handed me my bag without a word. I don't expect fast-casual places to go above and beyond or anything, but this spot has gone downhill in the human-decency department. The food was still fine and correct, but it'll be awhile before I come back.

But the whole visit here was about the burger, and it performs admirably. It's thick, juicy, and full of flavor. But that is just the burger. I'd recommend avoiding their fries as I've tried a couple versions and both tasted bland and potentially frozen as if they aren't made in house. Each time of had their fries, I've thrown them away. However, the burger is done very well. First time visitors that get triggered by religious or political signage should be well aware that there will be signs in this restaurant. They were friendly, helpful, and had a really fun working rapport with each other and service to the customers. The trouble started after we ordered our three foot long sandwiches, they were made, and were trying to pay. The register didn't recognize our coupon. One of the employees had to call the manager at home and ask what to do. No manager or supervisor on site. Over the phone the manager (twice) told the employee to relay that they couldn't honor the coupon because their system has a known issue where it deletes coupons on the day they expire. Nothing can be done. That's it. The end. Now, I feel really sorry for those two young people. They were very apologetic and really very professional all things considered. The best they could advise was to contact corporate through the website. I tried that. Subway.com is not mobile responsive. I couldn't get past the first section.
