This spot is owned by the same team behind Kate's Kitchen up north--which I've always found fantastic--and I'm happy to report this location is on that same elite wavelength. The Experience: The atmosphere is clean and impressively airy, making for a great morning vibe. Both the hostess and server were exceptionally engaging, even providing a personal water pitcher for the table--a small touch that makes a huge difference. The Food: Chicken Fried Chicken: This is the real deal. It was clearly prepared fresh, not frozen, which is a rarity these days. The Sides: The home potatoes were perfectly crispy, and the gravy was thick, peppery, and hit all the right notes. The Biscuit: This "super-sized" biscuit was essentially the icing on the cake. This place is pretty great My grandma and dad are obsessed with this place, every time they're together they will go here for breakfast I got a waffle with powdered sugar, some banana slices on the side and 2 pieces of bacon my grandma gave me. The waffle was very nice, the bananas were ok and the bacon could be crispier but I forgot to ask for extra crispy so that's probably my fault The service was good and the ambiance was nice. Found this spot via Yelp and conveniently located close to our hotel. Large and varied menu, healthy and not so healthy lol Went two consecutive mornings, and food was consistently good. My husband had a turkey Reuben both days, "delicious." His favorite go to, and the marble rye was fresh. His coleslaw was a bit dry on day one and better yesterday. His fries looked batter dipped, hard to describe but really good. I got the platter day one: pancakes with bananas and peanut butter, with two eggs. I chose turkey sauce which was excellent and fruit. Yesterday I had a chicken Caesar wrap which was also delicious, warm and filling. My side of fresh fruit ( strawberries and bananas) were fresh and personally preferred over the also offered mixed fruit. I had leftovers both days. Our servers were both energetic, friendly, and very competent young men who really enhanced the meals. Thank you Ethan on Wednesday and Beau on Thursday. B.Waffle with or w/o p.sugar (need to specify IF you don't want the sugar on top). 2 eggs your way (over medium etc), and your choice of meat (bacon/sausage/etc) IF you prefer your plate items separate at all times STOP HERE and flee. Personally, i like to first: 1. Butter the waffle even with extra butter, 2. Lay the eggs on top of the waffle. 3. Crack/slice/decorate the eggs with bacon/sausage/etc. 4. A friend recommended Ronnie's to me as it's super close to where I live and do Pilates! I finally had the opportunity to try it with a group of girls after Pilates one morning and it did not disappoint! It's family owned which is so special and they actually work in the restaurant and their story is on the menu! So cute! We each ordered something different - all wanting either sweet or savory or both - and the menu had options for everyone! I do not eat meat and am lactose intolerant and they easily accommodated my needs which was so nice! I wound up ordering the "In the Garden" which had eggs scrambled with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions and comes with sides of salsa, fresh fruit, and toast. Reading through my last review in 2019 I was right that I wasn't going to be back soon, given that it's been five years between visits. That being said, a lot has changed in five years, and I now have a four year old in tow, and I have to say that Ronnie's is a great spot for families. I remember back in 2019 we had some rude service, that was long gone this time around. The servers were all very friendly, and on a busy weekend morning I was honestly really impressed we were able to walk in and snag a table, despite it being constantly busy the entire time we were there. I indulged in chicken fried chicken which was great, my husband got a breakfast burrito which I think he thought was average, and my daughter had a cinnamon roll which she loved. I still think in terms of cravable breakfast food there are likely some spots around town that shine a bit better, but Ronnie's does a good job of serving up the classics and I appreciate that a casual, locally owned spot like this exists. I have a feeling now that we have kids this place will become a semi-regular spot in our rotation when we feel like braving it for brunch. read more

Seems like plenty of parking in the area--other businesses here as well. Food: It was okay, but nothing I couldn't fix myself and for less. The "veggie" omelet mostly had tiny minced or diced red bell peppers and onions. It was definitely lacking on mushrooms and asparagus--for $11.50, I didn't eat the fruit--mostly cantaloupe and honey dew--I should have subbed something else if I'd thought to ask. I wouldn't buy this again, nor would I come back for something else. The toast was likely grill-toasted--not my favorite. I don't know if they cook their eggs using bacon grease, but it might warrant the question. Which leads me to service: Not great. I didn't have any major issues to warrant the wait staff helicoptering around, but I was only asked how everything is/was when I was clearly done with the meal. Like the food, it was just meh. Ambiance: It's a family restaurant; it's noisy and it wasn't full with noisy kids. I think it's the general acoustics of the place. I had gone solo but I imagine conversion might be difficult. I reserve 5 stars for perfection. Today that's what I witnessed. We had a line waiting to get in but we were seated within 5 minutes. Greeted quickly with coffee and water. Ordering took some time because there were so many great choices. But the server was patient and answered all our questions. I ordered biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs and a side of corned beef hash. My gf got an omelet with sourdough toast and homestyle potatoes. The biscuits were fresh, obviously homemade, and the best I've ever had. They served the gravy on the side and I almost didnt want to put it on the biscuits. The hash was homemade and tasted great. Seasoned perfect. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The homestyle potatoes were crispy outside and tender inside. Her omelet was fluffy and the toast was done to perfection. Where to start. The restaurant is fresh bright and clean. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing. I got Cinnamon Roll French Toast Platter. The syrup was totally unnecessary as this was the most decadent French toast ever. My Bf got The King platter. Waffle with peanut butter and banana. The service here was fine but..... We ordered 2 cinnamon rolls - way too sweet, and old standby (oatmeal), and a waffle platter with eggs and bacon. Old standby was oatmeal- nothing special but not good enough to finish. The biscuit was better than anything but not good enough to come back for. The waffle tasted of old oil, a bitter taste. The waffle was light and fluffy just not good. The eggs and bacon were good, the eggs were a little sweet. Weird... the coffee and tea were not that good. The atmosphere was too bright for my taste and way louder than I like, I couldn't hear my husband on the other side of the table (unless he was almost yelling). Not coming back. Service was not good enough to make a difference. Came here for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. They were busy but we still got in within 5 minutes. I was shocked as most brunch places have hour long waits on Sundays. The staff was very nice and friendly. Our waitress asked if it was our first time and gave us a cinnamon roll on the house. The cinnamon roll was soft and warm. It was smothered in icing that was thick and sweet. We also tried the stuffed french toast. This was my favorite of the day. It had a hearty amount of egg and sausage inside and came with a side of syrup to dip or poor. We we also tried the chicken fried chicken. It was good and had a nice tender texture. The biscuit was dry but the gravy made up for it. The gravy was well peppered and had a good amount of sausage in it. We got our eggs scrambled and they were a little bland but on par with other brunch places. The price on all the dishes were on the low side especially compared to the portion size of the meals and the good quality. The overall atmosphere was clean and open. The tables were far apart which was nice. There was a good amount of space for big groups and for one to two people. This would be a great place to bring a book and enjoy some hot coffee. I LOVED THIS PLACE! We came here for breakfast during a business trip. I would come here every morning if I lived nearby. What an amazing group of people that work here! The vibe was upbeat, friendly and just joyful really! It made me happy for some reason. As we asked the servers about the menu and their recommendations we found them to be so welcoming. They were excited that we were there. Isn't that just awesome! They even insisted on bringing us a cinnamon roll on the house so we could taste it. WOW! It was the best cinnamon roll EVER!
