    Fajita Omelet

I ordered the chicken fajita with a side of potatoes and really enjoyed it. The chicken was fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor, with perfectly cooked peppers and onions. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Parking sucks, but honestly, the food makes it worth it.

This is a small restaurant, so they warned us that we might wait a while when we walked up on a busy Saturday morning. That was nice heads up. We waited, but not long. Once we were sat we took a look the small, but mighty menu. There was some traditional, a little hearty, plenty of sweet and a bit of a Mexican flavor thrown in for good fun. I'll let you take a look, but I liked everything I saw - especially the country fried steak and the Banana Monster waffle plate. Portions are filling, so don't feel bad about asking for a box to go. Service is busy, but also happy to help.

This is a gem! It was smaller than I thought it would be maybe a boutique restaurant. You will be amazed and very pleased with the food and flavor. The service was cool along with the ambiance. If I stayed in the area, it would be in my rotation and my new go to. I was visiting KS and it was the best part of our trip. You will thank me later.

We went to ARs for brunch on a Friday around 10am. It's a cute restaurant and it was really clean. There were not many places to sit and wait for our table which we would have appreciated, but it was worth the wait. The food was amazing and fresh. I got chilaquiles with steak and the chips were crispy and steak was seasoned to perfection. The red sauce tasted like chipotle, lots of depth. The green sauce was our favorite, very fresh with flavors of cilantro and lime. My eggs were perfectly runny. Although it was busy and service was a bit slow, they really knocked the food out of the park. Our party also loved the mimosas -- strong and tasty!

Such a cute local spot for brunchin'. The inside is a bit small. But the portion of food is humongous! They were extremely busy. But we got seated pretty fast. But if you are with a big party, there will be a wait. Food came out pretty fast. The Mexican skillet was good. Lot of flavors. But not enough meat. Potato and meat ratio were a bit off. Haha! I love my meat! But I still enjoy it. They were able to sub my choice of cheese at no extra costs so that is a plus in my book. 4 star because the restroom was extremely dirty.

Great place! We came around 9:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't packed! Got seated right away and our food was in front of us within 15 minutes! Many food options and drinks options as well. Tried the country fried steak which was thicker cut and had a nice crisp to it. Also tried the veggie skillet and the salsa verde was some of the best I've ever had. The breakfast potatoes were good too. Staff was super nice and they keep it cold in there. Fair warning, they have a 2hr table limit if they're busy and the OP farmers market is across the street on Saturday's so beware you might have to park and walk a bit and plan when you come to eat.

So much food. Busy place. May have a wait at times. Everything tasted wonderful. On the smaller side so large groups should plan ahead. They have bar seating hightops and outdoor seating and a few booth/low tables. Been back several times and always excellent.

My friends and I came here for brunch on a Saturday. The place was small and not much seating. The decor was nice and overall pleasing. We had to wait about 15-20 mins for seating. Once we sat down, the server came over and ordered our drinks and answered all the questions we had. We shared a big mimosa drink, we were a little disappointed because they had given us a big pillar looking thing for our mimosas instead of the usual cool big mimosa cups that we've seen online. Honestly, if we aren't individual mimosas, it would still be the same amount split amongst 5 of us in the big cup. The food was great! All my friends enjoyed their food and everything tasted great, I ordered horchata waffles add bananas, and a veggie skillet add sausage. I do recommend coming here!

I have driven past this brunch place probably 100 times on Metcalf and there's always (ALWAYS!) a huge line of people waiting outside. (Usually, a good sign, yes?) Well, given that today was a holiday, I decided to give 'em a shot about an hour before they closed. (Still a robust wait time ... go figure.) I now get what the fuss is all about. It's very lively and homespun. You can tell they put a lot of effort and energy into all of the food and drinks -- which are mostly Mexi-centric. Our server Evelyn was good-spirited and peppy and basically told us what to order based on her faves. (By far, the most popular dish is their chilaquiles, which were perfection on a plate.) If busy and hectic is not your jam, this place isn't for you. If you enjoy raucous, rowdy energy and an optimum cure for your hangover, eat here early and often. (I'll be back soon ... wait time be damned.)

It was a 40 minute wait on Memorial Day, so I'm sure it's also got to be super busy on weekends. But the wait is 100% worth it! AR's menu is super expansive and everything was incredibly affordable - I think everything was under $15 which is very hard to come by in this economy. The portion sizes do not skimp and the Bennies was delicious - the biscuits & gravy was so creamy and the breakfast potatoes were good without ketchup (which is how you know it's good). I did sample the Bacon Skillet and I'd say stay away from that because it was overwhelmingly carby, dry, and not something that would be pleasant to eat for your entire meal. But the Bennies was delicious and I'm definitely going to be back to try something else!

I'm so glad I finally got to try this brunch place in my neighborhood! It's pretty small and moderately busy on a Saturday morning - about a 20-30 min wait which isn't bad at all. The service was quick and easy, and the menu is HUGE! I was so glad to have a TON of veggie options to choose from, and the Veggie Skillet was calling my name. I definitely made the right choice! The veg was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well without being too spicy. I really liked the green salsa that came with it, and the eggs were perfect too! After this experience it'll be hard to try any other menu items, but in the name of research I'll just have to suffer through it hahahaha! I cannot wait to come back and get a heaping portion of breakfast potatoes! I'm drooling just thinking about it...

They don't offer food, but they do offer cocktails, beer, wine, and mocktails. I went on a Sunday and they have a special menu called "Almost Monday." It's a smaller, simpler cocktail menu and the prices are very fair compared to other cocktail spots. I tried the Caipirinha (pineapple) and the Negroni sour. Both were good. My favorite between the two was the Negroni. It had a pretty color and wasn't too sour or strong. I'd def recommend it and get it again. Definitely stop in and check out this cute spot in Shawnee.

When you arrive there is parallel parking available outside the bar. When you walk in you'll feel like your bright, vibrant, and feels incredibly welcoming. Also, they have some really fun drinks as well that have been thoughtfully put together. We ended up sitting at the bar and I started with the Reformed Porn Star (vanilla vodka, bronson's tropical milk punch, passion fruit, Prosecco, citric acid and popping boba) which was by far my favorite drink and felt like I could have drank a couple more of these. Second I tried the Neo Cosmo (white rum, strawberry, cacao, coconut, rose hip, lime, bubble) which was good and was a fun drink with an ice cream shaped cup and a bubble on the top (meant to look like an ice cream cone). If you are in the area, this bar is a must try, the bartenders were awesome and took good care of us. Between the creative cocktails, fun atmosphere, unique floral setting, this was a memorable experience I'd definitely return for.
