Parking can be a little busy at times, but the free garage always has spots available and ample handicapped spots in the lot. Definitely worth checking out even if you see a crowd waiting. I love stopping by early on weekdays when it's not quite as busy. Weekends can be packed with longer wait times for a table. If you're flying solo, there's almost always a bar seat open. read more

I'm rating over several experiences and wish I could give it a 3.75. The couple bowl style dishes - fajita bowl and chorizo bowl specifically - I've tried are delicious and great value. The group I've gone with have been mostly satisfied as well. I recently was part of a large group and understand patience is needed. My dish was last out and probably the fastest to make. Unfortunately the avo toast was burnt and other than mashed avocado, 2 eggs, and less than half cup of berries - that was the dish. I ate it and moved on but posting for anyone considering it. We were able to be seated quickly so that's a plus! Our server was only attentive in the beginning until we got our food. There were 4 of us and unfortunately none of us particularly liked our food. Some of it was cold and was not similar to the menu descriptions or other photos. Our main issue we had was the price for each plate not matching up to the amount and quality it should. Most of the sides had to be purchased separately which were also overpriced for the amount of food. We saw lots of mimosas for groups and thought it was a great deal for the price! There was a bigger party in the main dining area that were extremely loud and wished a manager would've said something, especially since everyone else was clearly struggling to hear and annoyed. We went to ARs for brunch on a Friday around 10am. It's a cute restaurant and it was really clean. There were not many places to sit and wait for our table which we would have appreciated, but it was worth the wait. The food was amazing and fresh. I got chilaquiles with steak and the chips were crispy and steak was seasoned to perfection. The red sauce tasted like chipotle, lots of depth. The green sauce was our favorite, very fresh with flavors of cilantro and lime. My eggs were perfectly runny. Great place! We came around 9:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't packed! Got seated right away and our food was in front of us within 15 minutes! Many food options and drinks options as well. Tried the country fried steak which was thicker cut and had a nice crisp to it. Also tried the veggie skillet and the salsa verde was some of the best I've ever had. It was a 40 minute wait on Memorial Day, so I'm sure it's also got to be super busy on weekends. But the wait is 100% worth it! AR's menu is super expansive and everything was incredibly affordable - I think everything was under $15 which is very hard to come by in this economy. The portion sizes do not skimp and the Bennies was delicious - the biscuits & gravy was so creamy and the breakfast potatoes were good without ketchup (which is how you know it's good). I did sample the Bacon Skillet and I'd say stay away from that because it was overwhelmingly carby, dry, and not something that would be pleasant to eat for your entire meal. One of the best places to eat at in KC!! We came here directly from the airport and it was just the best choice we could've made! It was pretty early and we were seated right away. For food we tried the chilaquiles both red and green, the fajita bowl, and a place with chorizo. Mine was by far my favorite! The bowl was huge!! I ended up finishing it later in our hotel but I got it with two over medium eggs that were topped with cilantro and some sour cream! Beneath that were the breakfast potatoes, grilled onions, mixed peppers, black beans and a ton of steak! My bowl was hot and it paired perfectly with my coffee! We understood that they called ahead And was happy to know they had the service. We were told that the next table is ours. 5 min later another 4 top came available. Right when they were going to seat us 4 people came in and they said we have to give them the 4 top. They said we don't seat two in a four top. I said there are two other table with two at a four top. There are only 3 - Two top tables. The owner just raised his hands and said Nothing when my husband tried to explain. No apologies only rudeness. My third visit to a latin inspired menu. Simple breakfast. Ham and cheese omelet english muffin and pre-made breakfast potatoes. I was one of 5 patrons. A guy who came in after me was served before. Only reason i say that is my breakfast came and no english muffin, potatoes were cold!!!!!! Then my server disappeared. I had to hail another server. My english muffin showed up fee minutes later and i had to butter it myself. Omelette was great. Eggs were light and fluffy but it would have been better with hot potatoes. My wife and I ate breakfast here. I forgot to take pics but I had the traditional Breakfast and my wife had their Avocado toast. Both were really good. Their coffee is good as well. It wasn't overly bitter. Some places have bitter coffee, which I don't care for. Only issue is parking. There isn't really a parking lot, so you have to park across the street in the bank parking lot or around the corner and walk. Not a big deal, but since I'm not from the area it was tricky trying to figure out where to park. The service was great. Quick and efficient. It's a bit loud inside, but still nice and clean. This was my first time visiting AR's Breakfast & Brunch. I was very happy to see that they had quite a few Gluten Free options and especially GF pancakes! The options were well marked with a symbol on the menu. They had an extensive menu for a breakfast and brunch establishment. I had the pick your own choice and I chose eggs (medium), sausage patties and the GF pancake and it comes with breakfast potatoes. All the food was cooked perfectly, the only thing I didn't care for were the sausage patties as they seemed bland. The GF pancake was one of the best that I've had! My daughter said her meal was good as well. The restaurant was comfortable and clean and the service was good. I look forward to going back and trying their omelette platters or skillets! read more
