Back patio area, and extra room

I really enjoyed my time at Goat and Rabbit. I came here on a date and I definitely will be back. This is a very spacious bar, but also very intimate. I love the dim lighting and the different seating that they have. My favorite part was the back patio area and there is an extra ducted off room that is more intimate than the inside. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got one drink off the menu and he made me a drink based on what I liked for my second drink I will say that the drinks are very strong. I generally like a balanced cocktail, but I won't complain about a strong drink either. Once I told him what I wanted, and he was able to adjust my drink even the one that came off the menu. The cocktail that I got was called it's more than peeling. It was good, but very strong I asked for more chocolate to balance it out and that made it perfect for me.

Grabbed a drink at goat and rabbit for happy hour. I love the space, service is always great, and the drinks are awesome. Their seasonal espresso martini is always my go to. The fall one is pumpkin spice and SO GOOD. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

This place is one my top fav cocktail establishments! Each visit they have a new variety of options along with some staples. I really like the Cosmo with the Apricot Foam. Service is efficient & helpful, love the decor & overall vibe.

Goat & Rabbit is a cocktail bar that's been on my radar and have been looking forward to going for a while, so Saturday we made our appearance. Christmas in July was the theme this month. They had multiple specialty drinks for the month of July, The decorations made the cocktail bar fun and very inviting . It was time to order after taking the view, I settled for an Espresso Martini it was good but a little too strong for me, can't waste a drink took me a while to finish it. My husband opt for hamm's beer. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and was not too busy. After a couple of hours, we made our way to the back patio, which has a cute little vibe. The staff were very friendly and made their way out to the back to check on us often. I am glad we were able to make it. I really enjoyed myself and we will be back soon. Location: 1804 W. 39th St. Hours: Monday -Wednesday 4 PM -10 PM Thurs -Friday 4 PM -12 AM Sat 9 AM - 12 AM Sun 9 AM - 10 PM

Love this little place! It's warm, inviting, & trendy. Definitely smaller but still has several seating options - bar, high tops, couches. The cocktails were crafty & creative. Great selection but not too overwhelming of a drink menu. The servers were also genuine & attentive. Will be coming back!

Happy hours is always a good time here at goat and rabbit. Two dollars off cocktails and they have a nice variety to choose from. Right now it's Christmas in July so I got the Rum Rum Rudolph... very good! Super friendly staff, very helpful. Love to come here!!

Love this place!! I always try to stop by when they have a new menu to try whatever their genius minds have created. I caught the last day for the Dubai Chocolate Espresso Martini and it did not disappoint! Craft cocktails is an art and science and they are great at it. Make sure you check out their new menu for June!

KUMO- tequila and a white cocktail

Goat & Rabbit is a true hidden gem in Kansas City! I'm always on the hunt for a great espresso martini, and while they do an amazing job with those, I discovered a new favorite on my last visit that completely blew me away. I tried the KUMO, which is an incredible concoction of Blue Spirulina, Blanco Tequila, Japanese Plum Wine, Thai Basil, Lemon, and a Lychee Egg White Cloud. The drink was not only beautiful to look at but also perfectly balanced and delicious... a must try! The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. The vibes are super chill and sophisticated. While there isn't a ton of seating, the large U shaped bar and cozy couches make it an intimate and comfortable place to relax and enjoy a great cocktail. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique and high quality drink experience with a cool atmosphere.

This place is so cute! They had a special AAPI menu for the month and we got some drinks off there. The dubai chocolate espresso martini was really good and sweet! The matcha drink is good as well and better when you mix up the foam with the drink. They turn cocktails into art! The staff was helpful, sweet, and answered all of our questions kindly. The only downside is that there were not enough seats. A lot of people were standing waiting for seats to open up and it felt a bit crowded. Overall, I would come back and try their other drinks!

The Volker neighborhood on 39th Street has always been a bit eclectic, but I never would have described it as savvy and sophisticated until now - kind of. The bar - whose name is a throwback to KC's Shannon and Pendergast era - does a fantastic job making you feel comfortable. They keep it a little dark, so you can mingle, but not be seen. If you know what I mean. The cocktail menu includes a lot of your favorite go-to drinks. There's a seasonal drink menu, too, if you're feeling a little creative. Beer is available on tap and in cans. Wine and non-alcoholic drinks are, too. The bartenders are super cool. They're happy to answer any questions and mix it up a little because not only do they know their booze, but they know Kansas City. It's the perfect place for happy hour, an after dinner drink or a spot to wax poetic over your favorite dram.

Matcha made in heaven & espresso martini

First time visiting Goat & Rabbit and absolutely loved the vibes of this place! Free seating and first come first serve on Friday's and Saturday's. I always enjoy a cocktail bar that uses Asian infused ingredients which were exactly in the Matcha made in heaven and Kumo drink. Both drinks were light and fruity without being alcohol forward. The black Manhattan and espresso martini are staples and great for someone wanting a classic cocktail. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the KC area and a block away from University of Kansas Medical center.

One of the bars that we always wanted to visit and experience your cocktails. This was the day we ended up going there and it was an amazing day. Beautiful weather Halloween was coming on the way so they decorated this place so beautifully. Please check out all my pictures you would see them building this amazing theme of Halloween a spooky environment inside the bar looks amazing. Very beautifully decorated. The interior was awesome. There is an outdoor seating as well. There is a common area. There is also bar seating. There's plenty of seating But this place had amazing drinks beautiful service but no food. You should definitely go there to try their drinks.

First off, the space was really big, and there were a lot of big screens and comfy couches around - it would be a perfect place to watch the big game! The beer selection was really extensive, and my husband was pretty happy about the variety of craft beers. He also grabbed some waters for us while he ordered. When we got our waters and beers, we all noticed that none of them were cold. Beer was somewhat warm, and the water didn't have ice. I thought that was a bit odd, but maybe their ice machine was down. The servers/bartenders were all very friendly, so that was a plus. Because the space is so wide open, it gets pretty loud - I don't think this is a good place for a casual meetup with friends - it's hard to hear them talk, and vice versa. First, the vibe is so intimate and cozy. Getting in without reservations is tough unless you go at an odd hour. And if they do let you in, don't test them on the your time limit. Be extra grateful and make it easy so they can seat the actual pre-reserved folks. The place is small enough and the service is nearly 2:1, so they'll definitely remember you. With that said, we tried it best to be on good behavior but that Sake flight had us feeling spicy! Which I'll speak to next, the sake flight delightfully surprised me, and gave me a few things I liked enough to order again. Did not expect that. But I shouldn't be surprised, they're obviously going to have something wildly well-curated, given the successful history of Anjin's creator. I know I'm supposed to talk about the food. But it almost feels pointless. It was obviously amazing. It's a small curated menu. They're famous for their sandwich, whatever rotation they're serving will be sure to please you. They didn't have a lot of vegan options on the menu so my friend got the cabbage dish and it was absolutely wonderful as well. That might be my only watch out if somebody is a vegan, check out the latest menu before going. With such a curated, small menu it may or may not be in a vegan's favor depending on the season. Our absolute favorites were the wagyu nagiri (melt-in-your-mouth incredible) and the oysters with caviar. The wagyu sliders were also a hit. That said, the fried lobster tail was a bit of a letdown--chewy and lacking the flavor punch that everything else delivered. The atmosphere is lively and fun, but heads up: it gets very loud. We were at one of those tiny cocktail tables and basically had to yell across it to chat, which made conversation a challenge during dinner.
