This cocktail bar is very welcoming and accepts walk-ins or reservations. We were quickly seated and immediately browsed the cocktail menu. We decided to try the wallflower, misonomer, and wayfaring stranger. The drinks were absolutely delicious! I recommend visiting this establishment if you want a place to relax and sip on some cocktails! Definitely will be returning.

Wild Child has been on my list since opening, and the visit was well worth the wait. The aesthetic is top-tier, every detail feels intentional and thoughtfully curated. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the vibe struck a perfect balance between stylish, lively, relaxed and welcoming. As someone who loves rum drinks, I was excited by how many options they had to choose from. One detail I really appreciated: the menu is scan-to-view and includes photos of the drinks along with the glassware they're served in, such a helpful and fun touch. Overall, this place is a gem. My experience was fantastic from start to finish. 10/10 -- I will definitely be back.

Stopped by Wild Child for flight night! I love that they have reservations so you are guaranteed to get in, but we didn't need them when we arrived on a Tuesday early evening. They offer 4 flight options. I got the martini flight and my husband got the old fashioned flight. I LOVED all of my drinks. Next time, I'm not sure if I want to get the same thing, or to order the daiquiri flight. Service was great! Definitely stop by if in the area!

Some of the most creative and fun drinks in the city! Very fun date night with lots of other food places nearby as well. Ambiance is beautiful with lots of greenery and different types of sitting areas. Server was hilarious and very chill. My only selfish request would be to not be that group that comes in looking to brewery hop (there are lots of nearby breweries). Midway through our date a big group of mostly men came in to drink a bunch of beer very loudly on their way to the next bar. It definitely didn't fit the vibe of everyone else there and was obnoxious.

I've been here serval times and I'm quickly reminded why I keep coming back. I love the intimate space as it makes it easy for conversations. The service is always friendly and the cocktails are very creative. If you're looking for a vibe that feels like home this is it, as I can easily stay for hours without feeling rushed!

The drinks, ambiance, and staff were 10/10! Kyle was such a fun and engaging bartender with great drink insight and fun stories; we had a wonderful Friday night out at Wild Child. The Neo Cosmo was our favorite for flavor and fun plus the BUBBLE!! :) Each drink is thoughtfully and artistically designed, the management is invested in the community, and you cannot go wrong in visiting Wild Child once or 100 times! Drastic Measures is their sister speakeasy bar next door- worth a night of trying both. They also have a new concept coming to KCMO, cannot wait to try! Ample free parking across the street. Highly recommend a reservation (don't forget that final "confirm reservation" click!). Also sound level is perfect for a first date!

We always have a really good time here. I'm ambience is really good. They do like to put lemon and a lot of their drinks. There was a ton of bitters in the snake jazz so watch out for that.

My friends and I were trying to get into another bar. Someone in line mentioned we should out the bar next door. Super cozy with limited seating but unique drinks. Highly recommend checking it out.

I did not make a reservation on a Friday night but we were able to sit by the bar and enjoy some drinks. By the end of the night the seats in the bar did fill up but it wasn't too loud. Part of the fun was watching the drinking being made. The menu is both great and challenging because I wanted to try so many of the options. Everything comes in a different fun glass and there are plenty of flavor combinations for everyone. The prices weren't bad at 14 /15 for the drinks. The bartender was very kind and helpful with choosing between drinks.

Wild Child has officially set the bar for non-alcoholic craft mocktails in Kansas City. This is hands down the most thoughtful, creative, and well-executed NA menu I've experienced in the city. The NA espresso martini is phenomenal. Espresso-forward and creamy, it genuinely tastes like a real espresso martini. As someone who usually avoids NA versions of classic cocktails, this one completely changed my mind. I also tried the Absinthe Swizzle, which was fruity, pineapple-forward, and incredibly refreshing. The de-alcoholized absinthe actually comes through in a way that feels intentional and balanced. The Lemongrass Cooler was another highlight -- light, bubbly, refreshing, and reminiscent of a gin and tonic style drink without trying to imitate alcohol too closely. Beyond the drinks, the bartenders are exceptional. They were attentive, welcoming, and truly knowledgeable about both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic menus. I was even offered a small sample of an NA Negroni, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. You can tell they genuinely care about hospitality and about making everyone feel included, regardless of what they're drinking. Wild Child has absolutely earned its spot as my #1 place in KC for NA craft mocktails. If you're looking for elevated, intentional zero-proof drinks in a setting that still feels fun and social, this place is a must. (Review by @sobersipskc on all social media platforms)

We live nearby and it wasn't busy when we drove by so we decided to try it out. We were seated immediately at the bar and looked over the variety of cocktails from their QR menu. My husband ordered the "Weaponized Kindness" and I ordered the "Flying Colors". They both were excellent cocktails and really enjoyed them. They decor is unique and vibrant and a lovely bathroom. The general vibe is casual and relaxing but I felt like the service could have been a bit more approachable.

Still give this 5 stars! Our server did an awesome job picking my drink after talking a bit. My favorite thus far is the La Bandita surprisingly. A spicy mezcal tart cocktail, so memorable

    Ruchi G.

Drink menu was all craft cocktails. Limited to what is on the menu. Not a full service bar and no classic soft drinks. Drinks that we ordered were good!

The little trash can drink was fun and had great flavors. My only negative about the place is the seating. With almost 5 feet between the seats it was hard to have a conversation with others in my group, even worse with the pair of couples next to us yelling across to each other. I was more in their conversation then I was ours since I couldn't hear my friends.

I had the Special Philadelphia Cheesesteak Burrito for $13.99 and a Crunchy Taco with ground beef $3.79, and a House Margarita $9.99. The food and drinks were pretty good but I think it was the happy atmosphere that made it a truly enjoyable experience.

It was adorable and the drinks were divine. Around Christmas they do a popup bar and in 2025 it was themed around a ski lodge. We tried to versions of the old fashioned on the menu and though we did like one over the other both were well balanced cocktails. After we ordered our libations the bartender suggested we head upstairs where it was less crowded and it was so cozy we felt like we were in someone's living room. Another couple joined us and we ended up having such a lovely conversation with them, chatting all about our favorite hot spots in Kansas City (gotta love KC pride). Just a note this is a slightly hidden speakeasy inside a pizza place, you need to have a password but it's easily found on their social media pages- just check Instagram. On our way out we decided to get a slice of pie (pizza pie that is) to balance out all that whiskey we washed down. I believe the one we got to go was called The Bee-sting, it had pepperoni and hot honey and though it was simple it hit the spot after a night of imbibing. I would most definitely revisit common tiger even without the winter aesthetic.

So another time. My only issue with the space is that I think it closely neighbors the kitchen. It was quite hot inside. To be fair, it was a hot day but still. I tried the Running of the Bullshit: blanco tequila, pineapple, lime, and smoked honey. It was good. The smoked honey was a tad overpowering but overall not bad. I'd probably opt for a different cocktail next time. I had a sip of the watermelon moonshine: blanco tequila, watermelon, grenadine, lemon, luxando, plum bitters, and topo Chico. It was watermelon! But it was good. Very refreshing. Both cocktails were very visually appealing with fun accessories and accents. Definitely check them out!
