    Senior cheeseburger, hash browns

Service was excellent, 3rd time at this location in past few weeks. Tried the senior cheeseburger since I liked the previous senior breakfasts so much. Sadly, the bun was dissolved from grease. Won't order it again. Not very busy. Sat at the counter & got to see cleaning which was very noisy.

5 employees at 11:30pm! I have never seen a well staffed waffle house and I am in love. Our food came out super fast, was exactly what we ordered and the staff was friendly. The place could have been cleaner, but I knew where i was going.

The food was "ok" for the price. The wheat toast was toasted. The over-easy eggs cooked to perfection. The bacon was paper thin and cold. The waffle was one of the worst waffles I've ever had. You can find better waffles at any other breakfast place. Decent coffee so that was a plus. The service started out shaky but improved. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their customers. The restaurant however was FILTHY! The floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped in several days. The salt and pepper shakers were gross and sticky. NEVER again!

Got everything I ordered and wasn't disappointed.

The staff was obviously new and training, but that didn't stop them from getting us all we ordered and making sure it was to our liking. I won't get the "blueberry Nougat" in the waffle again, but that is just me, the wife liked it. I have gone to waffle houses a lot over my life and when getting the hashbrowns "all the way" I got all the add-ins but this time it came with chili AND GRAVY!?!? what a wild ride. Won't do it again but was worth a one-time try as are most things. They had half of the restaurant cordoned off because of capacity due to worker shortage. But we got a spot to sit and eat pretty fast and got our food in a timely manner.

On a recent trip to Nebraska, we stopped at a WH along the route the six-year-old ordered coffee the waitress frowned. I said, please bring her a cup of coffee waitress, mumbles she'll need to make a fresh pot. OMG it was a great tasting coffee best we ever had.

You know, a lot of people shit on Waffle House. Yeah, they were designed for what you do after a long night at a strip club, and it's becoming more common to be in an altercation with a firearm while eating a waffle here than anywhere else with waffles; but damn it, if they're doing it right, and the place is clean, then I will have my waffles! All seriousness aside, they make a fine breakfast if you're in a hurry, and require a stool at a bar like you're a traveling salesman looking for a warm meal between selling encyclopedias and missing your children grow up - and the year is 1957. Try Waffle House - but only if they're not busy, and the store looks brand new. I don't know that I'd visit this one though. It's on 75th street. For reference, half of the Shawnee Police Department is required to be on duty on this little strip of road every day or night, so there's that. Rough Road. Great waffles.

First of all when we walked in we just sat ourselves because nobody cared. Then when we sat down it took about a good 10 minutes to order our food and drinks. The food came out pretty quick. I'd say about 5 or so minutes. The waffles were delicious. The bacon was a little too salty. The place itself was ok. I mean it was just like a normal diner type place. The setup wasn't the best though. 6.75/10

The bartender I've had both times has been so very helpful- he remembered me from my first time in, with my mom instead of my husband, and in quite a friendly way asked how she was doing and if she'd be coming back. [She would, if it wasn't something like a seven hour drive for her to get there.] He was completely willing to answer my MANY questions about the food and drink menu. They premix their cocktails and he was happy to let me try a sip of the ones that interested me. Speaking of.... They're quite ingenious! While cucumber flavor in a drink is hardly revolutionary, red bell pepper IS- and you can taste it! None of them were to my particular liking, but to be honest, I am a bit of a picky eater. He had great patience with me on modifications to my burger- and, again, remembered that I didn't want the sauce. This is honestly a cool little place with a super chill vibe. I AM sad that for a place with a good patio, dogs aren't allowed.... But such is life, I suppose.

It's a lovely restaurant. It seems a bit out of the way with mostly corporate buildings around. The restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. I like the purple hyacinths hanging from the ceiling in one area. It was very steady for an off time in the afternoon. First, our server Olivia was amazing! Very attentive and we were extra needy this day so I really appreciate her patience. We even dropped food on the floor. Oops! She was so nice about it and cleaned it up immediately. We had customizations and extra requests. No problem for her! She went above and beyond. I hope she sees this because she was such a joy! The food was also very good. We started with the biscuits and one peach compote and one blueberry. Both were yummy. They were traditional drop biscuits and I love a good biscuit! We also had an order of fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits. You get 4 very large slices. I could only eat one. The grits were yummy but there were not enough of them in relation to the friend green tomatoes. They were also encased by a sauce. I'm guessing a remoulade. I don't really care for remoulade sauce so I'd have removed it had I known it came with the dish. It really overpowered the goat cheese taste in the grits. The tomatoes were very al dente and I would have preferred them cooked a bit more. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. We got coffees and a chai. All of them were very good. A bit pricey for the amount you get though. Even with the smaller complaints, I'd still give th a 5 because of the outstanding service and the dishes were overall very good and large portions. We will definitely return and I hope to try out a breakfast item next visit!

He greeted us with a smile, took our orders, and then checked back with us several times during the course of our meal to ensure we were enjoying our food and had everything we needed. Everything moved like clockwork, from our seating to ordering to receiving our food to paying the bill. The food was OUTSTANDING!! I had the grilled chicken avocado club, and it was absolutely superb!! It was a complete chicken breast, and full avocado slices, grilled bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a very tasty sauce. All the flavors melded together perfectly, and I almost wished I'd ordered a second sandwich! My husband had the truffle cheesesteak melt, and he said it was amazing. The cheese was so tasty--like provel, or boursin--and the beef was tender and juicy. Both of us had fries on the side--his was regular fries and mine were sweet potato fries--and both were cooked to perfection (crispy, not greasy). The menu for 30hop is extensive, with plenty of options. They also have ample selections of beer and wine, and a full bar available. The restaurant itself is very open and airy; the tables are far enough apart that you don't feel crowded, and the music is soft enough that you can have a conversation at a normal volume. There are plenty of screens to keep up with your favorite sports, too. It was a wonderful first visit, and we will DEFINITELY return for many more meals! Unfortunately, the service side fell flat. We arrived mid-afternoon around 1:30-2:00, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We asked if we could sit upstairs, and the host seemed confused before telling us it was closed, then seated us directly next to a loud group despite plenty of quieter open tables nearby. A few minutes later, we looked upstairs ourselves and saw multiple occupied tables being actively served...what the heck? The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't the seating, it was the complete indifference from the staff. Drinks didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating, and despite the restaurant being relatively slow, nobody seemed remotely concerned. No urgency or communication. Just a normal day for them, I guess. A kitchen can only carry a restaurant so far when the front-of-house operates with this little care for hospitality. The atmosphere gives the impression of a place that wants to feel polished and upscale, but the service felt lazy and disconnected from the guest experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. What matters is whether the staff notices and cares enough to fix them. We left wondering how a restaurant with food this solid has become comfortable delivering service this poor.
