O this occasion, I had the breakfast burrito packed full of flavorful ingredients with savory potatoes and a cafe latte. The burrito had an eggs, chorizo, onions, peppers and cheese topped with salsa and sour cream. The potatoes were fried and season well. The cafe latte was lacking in depth of flavor and delicate foam I have become accustomed to from specialty coffee shops but it still deliver the shot of caffeine I was craving. I placed an order to go online. Service wise, they weren't the most friendly. Was greeted at the door and stated I had a to go order and was sharply told they are on the table. Well given there was nothing on said table, so I had to wait a few minutes. The pork tenderloin itself was huge as pictured, but lacked flavor. Had no seasoning to it, no salt or pepper, just relying on the breading to give it taste. Wasn't bad, once I added mustard and mayo. Not pictured is the chicken tenders, was just your basic frozen chicken tenders they fried. Same with the French fries for both. May try them again but order breakfast and hope for more friendly service and fresher food. read more

Amazing service and food. Came around 8:30 and there was a decent amount of people here. We were seated and help almost instantly and our food arrived within 10 minutes. Our server was super lovely and offered every substitute you could make in case you hadn't thought about it. Got the gravy scramble which was amazing. There was a decent amount of everything included and very filling. Also tried Ginger's classic where I had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties (so good) and then I subbed breakfast potatoes for fruit and got marble rye toast. Poor customer service. Bacon comes seasoned with Brown Sugar and rosemary!! It is not listed on menu and no where are you informed that the bacon is seasoned. When asked if we could get unseasoned bacon they said yes but we were going to charged again for more bacon!! And basically told by the manager that is how it comes get over it. Suggestion for restaurant make sure people know it is not normal bacon. Would you make a Diabetic eat the bacon seasoned with brown sugar without an accommodation?! Do better Ginger Sue's. read more

Back at Ginger sues again! My friend and I love getting together at this great little cafe. The service is always good! I had the giant pork tenderloin sandwich and the roasted corn chowder! Loved this little place! We wanted to eat brunch before flying back home and we were able to get in to Ginger Sue's pretty quickly. We were greeted by the kindest staff and seated immediately in this sweet, clean restaurant . Our server (Cody) was very sweet and attentive. Coffee was served piping hot as was our meal! We had a large 12 person party, wait time was minimal, service was amazing, and overall atmosphere was great. The issues I have are with the menu selection, which could be ignored except the portions for the price was lacking. The flavor of the food was just okay at best. My biggest issue was a glass of juice (apple, orange, or pineapple) was $5.00! This is crazy as a breakfast place. I came here on a Saturday morning at a time where it began to pick up. We were seated quickly and our server was quick. The food came out quick, which was good because my party was on a time schedule. Our sever got one of the dishes wrong and was able to quickly get it fixed without a problem. The food was good. The only down side was that our drinks took a while to get out. We had order a hot latte, iced latte, and a smoothie. They didn't come out until we were almost done eating and they all tasted mid. Though, Ginger Sue's has managed to create quite a following that will sage a revolt should they leave. My sister turned me on to this eclectic brunch spot while I was visiting family in my most recent trip to Kansas. I could immediately see why she raved about this foodie find. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and dove into the rich hollandaise and perfectly cooked poached eggs. The serving sizes were generous, but stood no chance to my appetite. What a great breakfast find! As a group of eight, they sat us pretty quickly on a Saturday at 8:30am. Everyone was helpful, kind and quick. The only critique we had is that the breakfast potatoes that came with each of our meals were extremely salty. However, they remedied it quickly by letting us trade for a second batch (my 7-year-old wanted no seasoning at all). My West Coast Omelette came with a sliver of avocado on top (I was disappointed with so little), but then I found an entire half an avocado inside the fold of the omelette! It was the perfect surprise. Also, I'm usually disappointed by the size of kids meals (because my kids always leave a little hungry), but these meals were perfect for them. read more

We didn't have to wait for a table for 8 on a Saturday -- however we did go at 830 am. Service was a little slow but was okay -- had to wait a little while for a water refill. Very busy on Sundays and it's first come, first served so make sure to get there early. The restaurant has a nice, clean design and the staff are all polite and well trained. I opted for the Aloha Awakea Omelette substituting sausage for Canadian bacon. While it was good, it wasn't great. Pretty bland. Now the potatoes on the other hand were delicious! Big chunks and seasoned well. The meal came with a biscuit that was incredibly undercooked and when the waitress brought us another there really wasn't much difference. Still undercooked. My husband got the Cajun crepe and ended up sending it back. The crepes were undercooked and the eggs and veggies were bland. Barely any flavor. We also opted to share a pancake because we saw how big they were and wanted to give it try. Their special was carrot cake with cream cheese. For a pancake it was definitely on a fluffy side. While that looks appetizing it was actually not good because that means they must use a lot of baking powder which leaves you with a chalky feeling in your mouth. Other wise it was pretty tasty. The reason the score is so low is simply because the food was nothing spectacular. All pretty bland and one could definitely find a better breakfast elsewhere. read more

Found this place online while passing through and thought we'd give it a try, and so glad we did! Carrot cake pancake special was amazing, and the ham and cheese omelette was awesome. Big fluffy (and stuffed) omelette with tasty biscuit and perfect potatoes - the potatoes were cooked perfectly and so tasty! Staff was friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was clean and comfy to sit and eat a nice breakfast.
