I'm a huge fan of First Watch when it comes to selecting a place for brunch. The service at this location was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was *chefs kiss*. The atmosphere is always relaxed which gives it a great vibe. Lastly, I must compliment the delicious cocktails. They never miss...always a hit.

Two egg breakfast with pork sausage and potatoes and gluten-free toast, but the toast is burnt
    Christina B.

My husband and I went to this first watch for the first time for brunch. He ordered an Italian omelette that came with a side of potatoes and he ordered an English muffin. I ordered their two egg, choice of meat and it comes with potatoes and toast, and I had the pork sausage and gluten-free toast. We were seated immediately, she tried to sit us at a tiny table, and we asked to be switched to a booth, which she accommodated us. Our waitress came out quickly and took our order, and our food came out relatively quickly. The temperature of the food was fine, my husband liked his meal. My meal was fine, except that the gluten-free toast was overcooked and pretty much burnt. I think the service could've been better. She took our order and people from the kitchen delivered it and she really never came back to ask if we needed anything else and just dropped off the ticket. The restaurant was generally clean and it had plenty of seating for a smaller restaurant and a casual atmosphere with a good sound level, not too loud with all the people that were there.

    Brooklyn Breakfast Sandwich

This First Watch provided just what we needed on our moving day - a healthy, reasonably priced, fresh, delicious breakfast with kind service and bottomless coffee! That is the wonderful thing about First Watch, you know you're going to have a great consistent experience. I'm not one for chain restaurants but this one is my favorite! Our server was just perfect, the right amount of leaving us to enjoy our food vs. making sure we had everything we needed. I got the always solid Market Skillet (SO GOOD, packed with veg and flavor) and my partner got the special Brooklyn Breakfast Sandwich (pastrami and house pickled onions, genius!), and boy were we happy and full!!! Finish the meal off with the Holey Donuts, you will NOT be disappointed! They were so insanely fresh, steaming hot from the fryer, with a tasty berry compote! I'll be dreaming about them for a while... This location is so close to our new home! We will surely be back time after time!

As far as "chain" breakfast restaurant goes, this is by far THE BEST in the area. You know it's good when you order the same thing over and over and over again and the food consistently tastes the same and hits the spot every single time. With that being said, I always order the Million Dollar Bacon and Salmon Frittata every single time. I highly recommend giving this combo a try! Service wise, I've always been greeted with a smile and less than a 10 min wait each time. They're quick to refill drinks and tend to your table in a timely manner! Overall highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a yummy breakfast/brunch spot!

    Bloody Mary Morning Glory

It's been years since I've been to First Watch so I decided to try it out again. We checked in online to cut the wait and that was definitely worth it because they were busy. The lobby area isn't very spacious so it gets crowded quick and it makes you feel like no matter where you stand, your in the way. So definitely put your name on the list ahead of time. We started with a couple of brunch cocktails that I was quite frankly surprised they had. My dining companion got the Bloody Mary and I got the Morning Glory. They came out in cute little carafes and the juice was really fresh. The Morning Glory consisted of New Amsterdam Gluten Free Vodka, orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger and agave nectar. You could really taste the turmeric and ginger. I got the Blt Benedict-Two poached cage-free eggs atop toasted ciabatta with bacon, vine-ripened tomato, avocado and lemon-dressed arugula and covered with hollandaise. The ciabatta made it awkward to eat and hard to cut but it was good. The bacon was tasty and the lemon really stood out. The eggs were also perfectly poached and all the produce was fresh. I did swap out the salad it came with for potatoes. Overall it was good and they have an extensive menu that works for everyone.

Someone recommended this place to me, so I stopped by. So glad I did....food was good and service was excellent. I'd definitely eat at this place again.

    Classic breakfast
    Libby G.

Had an early Sunday morning breakfast at this place. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with nice spacing between tables. Staff were friendly and efficient. My friend had the classic breakfast which she enjoyed. I had the crab avocado toast which was off of their Spring menu. There was plenty of crab, the avocado was tasty snd the toast was a lovely hearty piece of bread.

Salmon frittata Orange juice French toast with Turkey sausage
    A D.

Dan the manager working Saturday was so accommodating. I had ordered the salmon frittata with the greens and a kids meal french toast, Turkey sausage, and orange juice. Oh how I love their oj. Heavy gym day and I need it. Placed my order online and when I got there it was ready. There are a few things I would like to clear up before proceeding. The kids cup have been replaced with just a small cup due to covid(kids cups were to expensive to keep in inventory so the just switched to adult small, now they do not fill it up bc technically it's supposed to be for a child so do not get upset if your kids juice isn't to the brim of the cup. Also they can no longer keep toothpicks and mints out due to this as well. I did not know this so upon arrival I seen a half of a cup of juice and was like umm no. But technically yes this is correct and he explained to me so nicely and still filled it up for me. If you place an order online and for any reason you want to receive a refund you will have to call a number and wait 3-5 business days, also they are closed on the weekends, gotta love what COVID has done to the world. Like most first watch it was a nice crowd, the restaurant was clean but I'm a firm believer of what sets these chains apart are the people. This is why they get a 5. The food is always consistent and the people here are just so nice that I can't help but to pass up 2 others just to come to this one. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and clean.

    Cobb Salad
    Dev T.

I have been to this location twice. It is ok but not something that I would highly recommend. It does get busy so I would be ready for a wait or plan to come when it is not breakfast/lunch hour. I got the Cobb salad both times. It is a good, standard Cobb. They definitely give you a lot of food. It didn't look like I had barely made a dent by the time I was done. The bacon was very crispy and the avocado was great. The turkey was like a chopped up lunch meat turkey.

    Eggs Benedict, potatoes and coffee.

Delicious breakfast this morning at their Metcalf location. I will say, due to their layout, this location is noisier than most First Watch locations. First Watch is consistently delicious.

Overall - fun and quirky environment with lots of yummy food options…read more Menu: EXTENSIVE menu with lots of options to choose from... to the point that it can get a lil overwhelming. Thankfully most items have a reference picture so it was easier to gauge what you're getting, which I appreciated. I'd recommend getting the Honky Tonky (with bbq sauce on the side) bc it was a perfect balance of salty and sweet. Other burgers were good too (not all were shown n some I forgot the names), so high chance they'll turn out good. Appetizers id recommend (not shown) is the Spare Parts Appetizer that lets you sample a lot. Several were good like the jalapeños n cheese curds. As for the price and portion though, I don't think it was that worth it.... The burgers aren't that big compared to other places and the fries portion was kinda small too. So for the price of $20 after tax, just not worth it. Yummy but I could always get burgers somewhere else too. Atmosphere: if you're into cars, bikes, all the edgy garage and western decor, you'll like this place. It was fun to look around and see how this place was decorated. It can be a lot though. In terms of space wise, lots of rooms and tables around. We had a party of 11 and were thankfully able to make it work on a busy day. Service: our server was chill and patient with us. Felt like our burgers came out at a reasonable timeframe. Summary: was good and even though yummy, probably more of a 1 visit every few months bc the portion to price ratio isnt it imo :( especially if I can get burgers and fries in bigger (n refillable) elsewhere. Would highly recommend trying though!!

Came in with the wife, MIL, & SIL last night (Saturday 1/31/26) after doing the call ahead seating (which was the only part that went well). Parking out back was a nightmare. To some degree on a Saturday night, that's understandable. But given it was about 15°F out, having to scrounge for poorly lit parking in the way back lot and walk a considerable distance really sucked. The waiting area was jam packed with people, again, understandable on a busy Saturday night, but it sure would've been nice had the waiting area with heaters outside had an insulating layer against the elements to create more usable waiting space vs everyone being sardines in the inside waiting area and vestibule. Fortunately we didn't have to wait long as we timed our arrival with the get-in-line early seating feature appropriately. We were seated within a couple minutes of pulling up our confirmation number. Then everything went off the rails. After several minutes, we were asked in a somewhat accusatory way by a worker if we were at the right table and asked for our information again...which we gave, and she left. Kind of an odd interaction I've never had previously. After several more minutes, our waitress finally showed up. We went ahead and combined drink + food orders given the extended delays. Again, understandable to have a significant wait on a packed Saturday night, but it felt like it took quite a while. Drinks finally made it after a while. The food took a good while longer. And then the amusingly bad part happened. My wife ordered a ribeye medium rare. She was served a strip steak that was somewhere between blue rare and rare. The waitress said she'd take it back to the kitchen...only to bring it back out and explain that the kitchen manager said it was a "Strip-eye", where the strip and ribeye cuts "meet up". A strip comes from the short loin while a ribeye comes from the ribs section. While these sections of a cow do touch, these are two completely different cuts of meat that don't "meet up". And the fact that a kitchen manager sent the wrong steak back out with this ridiculously bad explanation instead of making it right is inexcusably bad. We get it, it's busy. But don't try to cover up a mistake and not fix it. For what ended up being a nearly $100 meal, my expectations, particularly of Texas Roadhouse, are so much higher than this. This was profoundly bad. The overall experience was so poor that I'll definitely not be back to this location and will probably never sing the praises of Texas Roadhouse again. My SIL wanted Longhorn instead and I shut that down really quickly, but honestly, she was probably right and that would've been the better choice.
