I was worried it'd be super busy, being smack in the middle of lunch rush, and across from some large corporate buildings, but there was only one other party in there on this day! We were greeted by a polite young man who asked if we had ever been before, and after telling him we had not, he gave us a (very) brief overview of how things work. We shopped the nice, bright menu monitors to the right of the dining/ordering area, and picked our bowls. We ordered, and waited about ten minutes for our food. I was a little surprised how long it took for a relatively simple dish, but, there was only one worker that day, which probably had a lot to do with it. We ate at one of the tables in the dining room, now to ourselves, as the other part had left. I had the Power bowl, and the kids had a Summit and a Choco Strawberry, so we had a nice spread of different ingredients and flavors making up the three. We all tried each others, and we agreed that my Power bowl won the day. The other two were delicious as well, and it was really easy to taste the differences in the three getting to try them back to back! Even though it's all healthy and fresh, the price did feel about a dollar or two high for what we got, especially considering they were running the place on a skeleton crew, causing a slightly long wait. I normally don't like acai unless I'm in California, but this actually tastes closer to that level of freshness than any other acai ive had in Kansas. A few I haven't loved: The immunity support smoothie just tasted like orange juice. And the power bowl only tastes like vanilla whey imo; I couldn't finish that one. Today when I went in, it was packed. There were probably 15 people waiting ahead of me and it was just the son and dad working. They were clearly overwhelmed and rushing to get everyone's things done. But they stayed calm and helpful with the customers, I could tell the man felt really bad. It was no biggie for me to wait, however I don't think I had as long of a wait as others ahead of me. I think they handled the amount of customers vs. the amount of staff as well as they could. Regardless of having to wait 15-20 minutes today, I've had a good experience every time I've been in and normally it's a 5 minute wait. And of course, the neon sign is adorable!

I get home and there's still coconut on it, so I have to go back up there and tell them to just give me a refund because I don't have time for them to remake it over, so the guy he gives me the refund for one of them but forgets to give me the refund for the second one so I have to sit there and wait for him to come back. A cup with chocolate running down the sides with a straw that now has the wrapper with chocolate on it.
