Location: Olathe Ambiance: Mostly, to go food. However, they have 3 or 4 tables inside that you can use. As far as I know, this is the only place in metropolitan Kansas City where you can sit down and enjoy Colombian food. The owner is Dominican, and they also offer Dominican dishes. Very good quality. What was OUTSTADING was the patacon. Plantain was perfectly cooked. Beef on top delicious. Service: it was good. I hope this place inspires the Colombian community so we can have more options. I know that many people offer food to go, but what we need is a restaurant that we can all go to

A little hole in the wall Dominican restaurant. They have a lot of ice cream treats, but we came for a meal. They only have four tables here, fyi! Tried their chicken meat plate, with a salad and ripe plantains. We also got a beef and cheese empanada and a beef arepas. So glad we found this place because my goodness... so yummy. The chicken was juicy, so flavorful. I loved their rice with beans. The ripe plantains were sweet and a lovely ending to the meal. Arepas and empanada were also delicious. Everything came out super fresh and hot. We had to wait about 10 min, but totally fast wait and worth it. Prices are insanely affordable, the plate was 12$ and the arepa/empanada was less than 4$ each.

Small restaurant with maybe 4 tables, but they have great service and excellent food. Their arepas are so tasty, probably one of the best I've had outside of my great grandmother's. I ordered their beef and cheese empanada, so flaky and crispy with tasty filling. The Santana meal with chicken, the chicken had such great flavor, and the rice was delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed. You can order online before you get there if you are short on time as they make everything to order, so it's about a 20-minute wait. But the wait is so worth it. I will be back to get some more Dominican food!

My dine-in lunch experience at this fairly new Dominican/Colombian/Ice Cream restaurant was okay, with room for improvement. My chicken Santana's meal ($12.00) included my choice of meat, rice, a small number of beans, salad and choice of either green or ripe fried plantains. It was ready just eight minutes after I ordered at the counter, where the service was accommodative. I liked the light citrus dressing on the cool and crisp salad, the good portion of moist and somewhat flavorful rice, the tasty fried green plantains and the good portion of boneless dark chicken. I was surprised that the chicken was unseasoned, but maybe that's appropriate for Colombian/Dominican cuisine. The dining area was clean and basic without background music, while the building exterior was a little trashy. Overall, A-OK.

Food was good, bilingual employees. Small eating area for those who wish to eat there. Worth trying for sure. I'll be returning.

Who knew yummy Cuban food could be found in Olathe! This spot was recommended by another Yelper…read more The interior is big but inviting. Nice comfy booths. Saw lots of couples - maybe this a the local date night spot?? Popped in on a Saturday evening. No reservation needed. Started with the garlic bread and chicken samosas. Both were delish. The samosas were stuffed full of chicken. The green sauce was tasty too. Lots of seafood, chicken, beef and pork entrees. I was not familiar with some of the fish entrees. It's a big menu and almost all of it is in Spanish. So I went with what Genevieve our server recommended. The chicken breast with onions and peppers. It's sounds plain but it was full of flavor and served with black beans and rice. I substituted plantains for tostones. The tostones were meh. My dinner companion ordered the chimichurri steak. It also came with black beans, white rice and plantains. She said it was delicious. They also serve paella - which I really wanted to try but they entree is for 2 or more. Some of the fish items are kinda spendy. But the other meat items are in the $20 or less range. In addition to soda and lemonade, they serve margaritas and beer. I ordered a skinny margarita and it tasted watered down. So next time I'll ask for no ice. For dessert we tried the churros. Not bad. The service was great. I'll definitely come back to try some of the seafood entrees.
