It was one of the best mezcal cocktails I've ever had, and I stuck to those for the rest of the night. Drinks came out incredibly fast, and our server was attentive and informative. My favorites were the Higos y Queso de Cabra and the Pintxo de Pollo y Chorizo. We ordered about seven different dishes and enjoyed them all -- the food was filling, fresh, and tasted homemade. One of my new favorites in KC.

This place is great if you love variety because you can order multiple tapas and share with the table, and/or just enjoy for yourself! I have tried their Paella Mariscos, Breakfast Paella, and one other, all were SO delicious! The shrimp were cooked especially well and the servings are generous enough for multiple helpings. Their sangria rojo is delicious, as are their wine offerings (I love a place that offers flights!) And they have great discounts each day of the week. If you like coffee, their Spanish coffee comes with a fiery performance by the servers - it was beautiful and so delicious! I really want to compliment their hospitality and attentiveness for the birthday brunch. We had a party of 8 and ordered a ton of tapas to share and the staff/kitchen timed their delivery perfectly along with entree delivery and drink refills so our table was pretty busy. Overall two great experiences, super delicious food, and lots of options so you can try something new with every visit! I'm already looking forward to going back

Saw lots of couples - maybe this a the local date night spot?? Popped in on a Saturday evening. No reservation needed. Started with the garlic bread and chicken samosas. Both were delish. The samosas were stuffed full of chicken. The green sauce was tasty too. Lots of seafood, chicken, beef and pork entrees. I was not familiar with some of the fish entrees. It's a big menu and almost all of it is in Spanish. So I went with what Genevieve our server recommended. The chicken breast with onions and peppers. It's sounds plain but it was full of flavor and served with black beans and rice. I substituted plantains for tostones. The tostones were meh. My dinner companion ordered the chimichurri steak. It also came with black beans, white rice and plantains. She said it was delicious. They also serve paella - which I really wanted to try but they entree is for 2 or more. Some of the fish items are kinda spendy. But the other meat items are in the $20 or less range. In addition to soda and lemonade, they serve margaritas and beer. I ordered a skinny margarita and it tasted watered down. So next time I'll ask for no ice. For dessert we tried the churros. Not bad. The service was great. I'll definitely come back to try some of the seafood entrees.

Went to Exclusive Jerk with two friends and had a good experience overall. The restaurant was…read morepretty dark inside, and it seemed like most customers were ordering takeout rather than dining in. They only had one server working, Dylan, who was very friendly, attentive, and gave some great recommendations. I ordered the lunch oxtail plate with mac and cheese and collard greens. The oxtail was excellent, tender, meaty, hearty, and well-seasoned. The mac and cheese leaned more toward a processed cheese flavor than my personal preference. I usually enjoy a richer, sharper mac and cheese, like one made with gouda, but it was still decent. The collard greens had a nice smoky flavor, though I felt they could have used a little more seasoning. Unfortunately, the reason for the star deduction was dessert. We ordered two slices of red velvet cake, and both had visible mold on the bottom. The restaurant does not make the cakes in-house, so this may have been a storage issue or a problem from the bakery supplier. Regardless of where the issue originated, mold is mold, and we were unable to enjoy the cakes. Aside from that disappointing experience, the food itself was good and I would consider returning.

It wasn't busy at all, it looks like it was an old bread co (Panera) so there lots of seating and space. You order at the counter and they bring the food. The service was quick, we didn't have to wait long for Jerk wings, Ox Tails, Curry Goat, Yams and Red Beans & Rice. A delicious meal. Meat was tender and seasoned. The yams were so good not too sweet. Red beans and rice isn't my favorite but it was cooked well and had curry sauce on top which added flavor. We ended up ordering food to take back home to STL the next day. My sister doesn't live far so we will be back when we visit!
