It was the first time 4 of us went there for phó. The place was spotless and spacious. The waitress was very polite and helpful. I had a bowl of flank steak with meatballs. Our order came very quickly. Boy, I can tell you the Phó with the hot broth was so delicious. It was just perfect for our satisfaction. The owner was very gracious and came over to check if everything was right. We asked him if we could take a picture with him. It was closing time for them but he still stayed after to chat with us. Not sure why this place is getting high praises and 4-5 stars or people have sub-par taste when it comes to Pho places in Morgan Hill and Gilroy. Maybe they bought their reviews. Tried this place TWICE and had to write a review after this last experience. The pho broth is bland and fatty, usually happens at places putting out quantity and not quality. The bun bo hue was questionable, tasted like they used the same broth as the pho but put in the bun bo hue ingredients, probably to save on costs. Our second time trying this place we ordered to-go. Came to pick up our order when it was supposed to be ready, and half our order was not filled. When I pointed this out, they blamed it on having a new cook. The prices are very reasonable and currently for certain groups they give you 25% off, including seniors. This is a great addition to Gilroy. Decent Vietnamese food for Gilroy. I liked the Pho here better than M Noodle, but I've also only been to M Noodle once. We have tried Pho Tai, Spring Roll, Combination rice plate with grilled pork, egg rolls. All ordered to go. Pho had a very fatty but flavorful broth, good portion of meat and soup. Came with all the fixings except for hoisin sauce but luckily we had some at home. Spring rolls are what you would expect with pork, shrimp, greens. Peanut dipping sauce was good The grilled pork was a little dry for the rice plate. The flavor was good. You should ask for extra fish sauce if ordering to go as the portion they give is not enough. They just opened so the place looks clean, spacious. Service for to go has been pretty quick each time. They are still training employees. None of the shrimp had been cleaned, so I had to devein (remove the poop chute) them myself. Totally unacceptable. This review was well overdue! But, here goes: Gilroy Noodle popped up on my Yelp about a month ago and we tried it. We love the place! We had the com tam with pork chop and tauhu ky (shrimp wrapped in tofu skin), Vietnamese wings appetizer, and shrimp with garlic noodles. Portions were huge, we had some leftovers that we brought home. And, although the food was awesome, I think their grilled shrimp stole the show! Com tam is as usual, a feast. No surprise there. Chicken wings were simple and delicious. It was the garlic noodle with the shrimp that I thought was unusually good. At first glance it was just stir fried noodles with grilled shrimp. But that one first bite was smoky, sweet, and perfectly "charred". The shrimp was a welcome addition since it was sweet, smoky, and succulent. They didn't skimp on the shrimp either! Their service was fast too. Took about 5-10 mins for our food. Not much of ambience, but that's pretty standard for noodle restaurants such as this one. Overall, the quality of their food, their seasoning, are all great! Do try their garlic noodles with shrimp, I have been craving it for a while - that's how memorable it was! read more

Food was good but in the middle of eating we saw the owner(female) cleaning her feet while she was eating in front of us , we got grossed out. Super fast friendly service. After finishing an evening appointment that ran late, we were hungry for dinner. We decided to try Gilroy Noodle even though it was 8:30 pm and they close at 9:00 pm. (We were getting takeout). We walked in to a bright, clean space, with friendly staff. We had already looked at the menu online, so we knew what we wanted to order. Our order of Shaken Beef w/ Garlic Noodles, A la carte - Grilled Pork, Grilled Shrimp, and Grilled Chicken was placed at 8:35. By 8:44, the order was ready. Driving home, the smell of the food had us salivating! The Shaking Beef with Garlic Noodles was very tasty. The noodles have a nice chew. We ordered the a la carte proteins so we could try the different flavors. Our favorite was the grilled chicken. It had a great grilled flavor and a slight sweetness to it. The Grilled Pork was a bit chewy and had a mild flavor. The Grilled Shrimp was okay; it was plain with a nice char flavor. Super glad that there's more Vietnamese food in the area. So, I thought I'd leave an honest review but I do hope that they take the time to read my review and improve the overall experience. I ordered right when they opened on a Sunday, and ordered to-go. I ordered pho, and bun Bo hue with two drinks, an avocado smash, and a coconut drink. My pho was okay, broth was something that tasted like something I would be able to make myself at home. Although, there was a small curly hair in my meat. Again, not trying to bash the place, just want them to be aware because that was pretty gross. The bun bo hue was mediocre as well. My avocado smash barely had any avocado's in it. My wife's coconut drink wasn't filled up all the way and was filled with ice. She said she took 2 sips and it was gone. Overall, I spent like $60 bucks. Super pricey, for somewhat of a lackluster experience. Could've gone grocery shopping instead and made myself food. read more

The not so good- I had the Shaken Beef noodle dish it came out of the kitchen quickly but was barely warm, the meat was tender but very bland, not cut in uniform sizes and not seasoned. There were only 5 pieces of bell pepper and about 12 of white onion. The noodles were cooked perfectly but lacked flavor.
