For me their broth is much too sweet so I don't get the pho. However their other food is good. Rice plates and eggrolls. I'm a huge fan of their Vietnamese coffee with salted cheese, but be prepared to wait for said coffee at least 5 minutes even if you're the only person there.
Great food and service always. Staff is attentive and makes sure food comes out in a prompt manner without losing quality . Great aesthetic of the restaurant with the decor. Owners come out to check in on guests and are always so welcoming. Milk tea and Boba drinks are the best and I don't have to drive all the way to San Jose to get good milk tea!
The atmosphere was great. There was great decor in the store with extremely friendly staff. The wings were delicious! Very crunching and flavorful. The Pho was delicious and very filling. Over all, it was a great experience and the food was great!
For appetizers we started with the Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings and the Shrimp Spring Roll. The spring roll was nicely packed and the rice paper wrapper was so fresh! Most places I've gone to in SJ the wrapper was too chewy but not here! The chicken wings were so crispy and packed with flavor. I'd order a whole party tray of those! For entree I had the Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli. The amount of shrimp was surprising (in a great way)! I loved the fried garlic topping too. Everything tasted so fresh. The fish sauce wasn't too overpowering too, which was really pleasant. I'm so glad Hollister has this place for great Asian food and boba! Our waitresses were also very attentive as well.
Hubby heard about their Beef Rib Pho, so we had to try it. We started with the pork & shrimp spring rolls, then both ordered the Beef Rib Pho, which was flavorful and delicious. For dessert, we shared an avocado & coconut smoothie with boba topped with toasted coconut--it was so yummy. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

I recently tried Pho Nha, a new spot in town. The menu is on the smaller side, but they seem to cover the essentials. We started with the spring rolls, which honestly threw me off. It looked like just two rolls cut in half, sitting in a big container, so the portion felt really small for the price. The peanut sauce was on the thicker side but still tasty--overall I'd give it a 7/10. For our mains, we ordered two rare beef phos. The broth had a good flavor, but when I got home, I ended up reheating everything on the stove so the meat would cook properly. I also added my own hoison sauce, lime, and chili oil crunch to bring more flavor since I didn't have the normal condiments. One thing I was really missing was the fresh sides that usually come with pho--basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, lime, etc. Instead, the bowl only came with green onions, which was disappointing. We also tried the grilled chicken rice plate. The chicken had a bit of a burnt taste, which threw off the dish. It did come with an egg roll that was pretty good, though. All in all, for two spring roll orders (which were basically two rolls total), two beef phos without condiments, and one chicken rice plate, the bill came out to $72. For that price, it just didn't feel worth it. Maybe dining in would make for a better experience, but for takeout, it was a bit underwhelming
This is a GREAT addition to Hollister. The broth was good (I forgot to take a picture of our entrees) for the pho and they automatically give you the thick white noodles. (They also have the heartier mi / yellow noodles.) ONLY ONE ISSUE: the noodles were plenty but the meat ratio was very much lacking. I would recommend the owners right size this ingredient. I ordered the bun tom thit nuong (vermicelli with grilled: pork and shrimp). The bowl came out without the shrimp but they quickly brought some out for me . These noodles were a little too soft/ slightly over boiled. I was so excited they had green Thai tea! And that was delish. (Pic attached) I hope they make adjustments for their grand opening because the food gets a good grade!! They only had a limited amount of items for their soft opening duration so I'm excited to try the rest of their menu!!
As locals this has been our go to pho spot, being there is only one other restaurant in the area this was our most favorable. This restaurant has free seating we were able to be seated quickly both times (for my partner and I) but I noticed many tables occupied by dirty plates in the evening after 7pm compared to when arriving before 5pm. The food is pretty really good it's not the best but as a locals We will be returning. Food: The vegetables PHO is my favorite it includes tofu broccoli carrot chips Cauliflower chayote mmm almost like my grandmas chicken soup but different. The milk tea is really really nice and perfect add the cheese top you won't regret it Improvements: In my opinion there should be a sign in front that says its free seating if it's free seating, it a bit confusing when you walk into the restaurant,there should also be a buzzer who is assigned to clean the tables because that job itself is fast paced and not easy. There has been many many dirty tables when we have gone both times. Servers should understand having a good attitude changes the atmosphere. No matter how hectic it will get always try to enjoy it and be in the moment. Your aurora is reflected through the place and food we are eating. Servers need to be assigned their own area in the restaurant It caught me off guard to see a server serving tables from across the room. It was hard not to look.
I've had the combination pho and the beef rib pho. Both so good but my favorite is the beef rib, the meat just falls off the bone. So yummy. And another favorite I get is the milk tea with cheese foam and lychee jelly! I love all these items. Kinda wish the prices weren't so high. 2 people is $60! Maybe I grew up in different times in San Jose when pho was only $5 dollars foot a small bowl. I know I get it, inflation. And the tea is almost $10! But it is so good! I would definitely go on more if I could afford it! This place is very good! Cute too, they have decorated the restaurant with Nón lá- Iconic Vietnamese leaf hats! I love it and by the front door a replica of an iconic Vietnamese scooter!
Sorry but I visited this spot around the first time they opened, and thought it had potential... just needed time cus they're new. and decided to revisit again recently and still limited menu, and their portions are slim and upsetting. Rare pho ($17) barely has any meat, literally small thin slivers of meat I counted about 8 pieces. Unfortunately didn't take a picture. Bun Bo hue ($17) .. was lacking FLAVOR. Which is definitely its main aspect of this dish in all. Also again, lack of meat portions... I had 2 half dollar sized tendons, and 3 pieces of flank steak.. you wouldn't think of it as a bun no hue, more like a regular pho but with less flavor actually. My guest with me got the rare steak pho, and I got the bun Bo hue ... her dish had more flavor than mine. Spring rolls (9.50) were mid, I asked for pork AND and shrimp.. they came out JUST shrimp so I had mentioned it to the server, she brought the whole thing back with two of them bitten into.. definitely makes me wonder how the hygiene and cleanliness is back there.. they brought a plate back, and looked like they deconstructed it and used the same ingredients to reconstruct new ones but this time with a tiny minuscule amount of pork.. refer to pics please! Last dish was a Togo of grilled pork and rice plate. Meat looks like it's pounded to its finest.. and it has this weird hair type of look to it. refer to pics once again.. pretty sad portion for it being $18 You can tell there is an inconsistency in their food, a review down below me shows a grilled pork spring rolls... DOES NOT LOOK THE AAME AS MINE.. Definitely my not worth the money!

The pure magnitude of this banh mi is enough to awaken the most dormant corners of my appetite. Upon first inspection, I was immediately captivated by the abundance of meat, cilantro, vegetables, and that beautifully toasted bread. One bite in and I understood that this was not merely a sandwich, but a carefully engineered vessel of flavor. I highly recommend ordering one if you find yourself in the vicinity. First time I tried this place, here is what I ordered! - Meatball pho add on beef rib - Crispy egg rolls - Pork shrimp rice plate with fried egg Everything tasted great! Meat from beef rib pho was definitely my favorite it fell straight off the bone. Noodles and meatballs were cooked perfectly as well! My boyfriend got the rice plate and really liked it, it comes with a crispy egg rolls and he added on an egg which made it more tasty than it originally was! The crunch to the egg rolls were so delicious with the sauce too. My server abby catered to us perfect timing especially when I dropped my chopsticks lol! Her, Branden, and Tomas updated us as soon as they could to let us know what they had and didn't have in stock which was a big help, they delivered food and talked with us too! Service here for me and my boyfriend was great. The restaurant had a bunch of tables, I loved the ceiling and decor inside. Each table had chili oil, hoisin, and sriracha which was nice. Pho was so good here. Had pho at another spot in Hollister but it was a definite one and done spot. Haven't tried any other pho places in Hollister until now. This was exceptional and the food was well made. Inside is very cozy and clean. Only thing I would change is probably fix the door it constantly has to be closed if the people dining don't close it themselves. Onto the food. The combination pho was tasty, broth well made and they give plenty good portions. Chicken pho (picture isn't there) was good as well. And the spring roll was really tasty but the star was the peanut sauce for sure, it carried the dish but also complimented as well. Next time I will probably get shrimp only since I like that more. Servers were kind of kept to themselves but definitely opened up the more they came to check on us. They do a great job and work hard, be nice to them! Will definitely return because not many good pho spots in Hollister and this one takes the cake easy! Maybe will try the rib pho or bun Bo hue next! Have yet to try any drinks but they seem promising. I'm against using syrups or powder for drinks but from some of the pictures it looks promising. Photos are of a piece of equipment rubber i found in my boba order. Went with my bf to order some boba, he paid for both drinks & give a $15% tip which was abt $3 or so. A second after the order, we sat down and i saw that the order on the receipt was incorrect so I went up immediately to ask if it could be changed & instead of apologizing & correcting the order they still decided to charge $1 extra for the new drink. Just odd for it being a mistake on their end. And then for it to have a crunchy piece of plastic rubber in it was even odder. Even if it wasn't "equipment pieces", this is still cross contamination. And the other drink (Tiramisu) we ordered was not the best, tasted like bad tea. read more

When we moved to Hollister from San Jose over a year ago, we were really hoping to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that had pho, bahn mis and rice plates. But, unfortunately, there wasn't anywhere in town that we really enjoyed. Then Pho Nha had their soft opening a few weeks ago and it's safe to say we are HOOKED. The menu is limited for now, but the combination pho, bun bo hue with short rib, grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl were all DELICIOUS. Everything was so good, we went back a second time tonight and the service was even better. This time I also ordered the Thai tea with boba and it was so tasty! The team remembered us from the soft opening and we really felt like valued customers. The ambiance and overall decor is very tasteful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Vietnamese restaurant with amazing food. read more

This is what Hollister needs! Not only local businesses but MORE ethnic dining options. Wife and I were at the Soft opening a couple weeks back and a Pho/milk tea establishment is a welcome departure from the previous restaurant. Order the special combo pho with a side order of beef ribs, grilled pork vermicelli. For drinks we order iced Vietnamese coconut coffee and Peach ice tea. Broth was amazing, clean and flavorful, can rival the higher Viet populated restaurants in SJ. The grilled pork vermicelli was pack with flavor and is refreshing with accompanying herbs. Drinks were on point, no powder mixes here, just simple delicious real brewed teas. As a Vietnamese raised in SJ it doesn't get more legit than this in this town, tried the other two "Vietnamese" specialty restaurants in town, let's just say I'll save you the trip, you are better off with the instant Pho at 99 Ranch supermarkets. Needless to say food was exceptional along with a friendly staff and outstanding service! Don't sleep on Pho Nha, or just take the 45 min drive to San Jose. Hands down this is our go to Viet restaurant in Hollister. Keep up the awesome work Pho Nha! read more

This place is Pho Nha-menal. Ok, puns out of the way, let's get to the nitty gritty. Hollister has a problem with keeping anything open that isn't a Mexican restaurant, and even then... I came in with hopes high, and wasn't disappointed. On their soft open day. They had a limited menu, but everything on it hits hard. I ordered the number 19 rare beef, and it came out quickly. The noodles are of the wider variety, which some like and some don't. I personally don't care. It's all about the broth for me. Let me tell you, the broth is awesome! The beef is delicious. The portions are incredibly generous. There was no bowl size to choose from, and this would generally be classified as a large bowl. So good! We also ordered their tea, and I am a tea snob. The Jasmine milk tea is so flavorful, and even at 100% sweetness not bitingly so. This is definitely going to be a regular staple in my diet now that I don't have to drive all the way to San Jose to get a solid bowl of pho. Come check them out. To start off, the first impression you get is from the ambiance walking in. The restaurant is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has warm, inviting lighting. You can tell right away you're in for amazing food, great service, and a beautiful dining experience. We ordered appetizers and boba to start. We tried the wings, taro tea with boba, and strawberry tea with lychee and clear boba. I'm usually the type to order boba for the vibe, not because I actually finish it, but this time I drank every last drop and every boba pearl. It was that good. The strawberry tea was especially delicious, fresh, and perfectly sweet. The pho came out in less than ten minutes and was cooked to perfection. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and beautifully presented. We usually drive an hour out just to get good pho and boba, but this will definitely be our new go-to spot right here in our little town. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for great food, good vibes, and an overall amazing dining experience. read more

Oh wow, what a changed! Went there last Sunday for lunch and it was excellent! We ordered the same thing from last time and everything was doubled in size! I thought we were in Vietnam town in Sun Jose! Everything was delicious and loaded. Even the service is fantastic, very attentive and detailed. Oh boy, this might be one of the best restaurants in Hollister. If you're visiting Hollister or Pinnacles, stop by at this place. Definitely coming back and bringing more family members and friends. This place has turned terrible quickly. Ordered the rare beef pho, the chicken pho and the wings. Couldn't believe how little meat was in the bag when I got home. Weighed it out and it's 1.2 ounces of meat!! Both our pho orders had a combined 2 ounces of meat. Ridiculous. this place should be ashamed of themselves ripping off the people in this town. NEVER going back. @owners - it this was a 'one off' bad night and you want to make it right I am happy to listen and edit my review accordingly. read more

We went here expecting it would be awesome food and experience and I really wanted this place to be good. I still think they can be if they improve their food, portion size and service. The service is not great we didn't even get a person to take our order till everyone else who came after us I was about to walk out and they finally took our order. We ordered the Beef and shrimp rice plate and it only had 2 shrimps ( I mean why even call it a beef and shrimp plate if your not gonna give me Atleast 4 shrimps lol) also they had a lot of drinks crossed off. Their egg roll was the worst so oily and I haven't had a bad egg roll like that in a while. If they make their menus smaller and increase their portion size and improve their service they'll have more people coming here read more

I ordered there chicken pho, started by tasting the broth..... amazing they cook their broth for 12 hours and say "we don't add water to the take if it goes low". To me that great if I miss out a day its fine, I'll be back again. Ambiance was enjoyable very social but not too loud with a clean dining area. The service was very direct asking dine in or to go. Wait time was a bit long it was only there second day open (soft open) but very well worth the wait! Just have some patience read more

Finally a place worth it to add to my fav list. Compliments to the chef! The aroma , the taste , the presentation of each dish just leaves you with a yummy foodie experience with Pho Nha. More over, the teas and coffee selection is overwhelming with joy. My family and I really love the passion fruit tea and guava tea. I love how Pho Nha keeps all their recipes authentic! We've been here multi times and service is A+. Especially our waiter, Seb! Can't wait to come back and try more! We went during their soft opening so not everything was available on the menu. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a warm welcome. There was a nice presentation when he brought us water and the utensils. The water cups were small but there was a big bottle provided to refill which worked out great! There were some condiments on the table. Everything was clean and ready for a full house! It was a colder day so I was in the mood for the Pho rare beef and my mom got the pork rice plate. We love boba so we got Taro and it seemed like they used a paste which I haven't seen before. It tasted really good and the boba was soft. We also got spring rolls which were two and they were cut in half, served with a peanut sauce. I wasn't able to finish the pho so they gave me a container to take home! finally! an authentic pho in town. I do not have to drive far to have pho. The best part? They have tea and boba. My favorite is the egg coffee. This is a must try! We had egg roll, vegetarian vermicelli, pho, and a whole bottle of wine. We were so hungry and failed to take pictures of Pho and vermicelli. I'm super picky with Pho being from San Jose where my favorite Pho restaurant is located... I gave this place a try based on the current overall good reviews. I ordered the beef rib pho and which - honestly I was starting to get bummed out about after reading some of the reviews, saying the broth had no flavor and watered down. However, I was pleasantly surprised it was pretty tasty. I typically order chicken, but would highly recommend this one. I also ordered a salted iced coffee, which was yummy as well. I read it for stars because I could have used some more lemon and greens. read more
