This place has to be the best in Salinas! Friendly service an everything is fresh. I mostly do take out expsialky when you have little kids. The pho broth here very delicous and fragrant. Parking is very easy and the owners are very friendly!! Family owned!!!

8.7/10 Came here for some Pho and spring rolls, and it definitely hit the spot. The Pho was light yet flavorful, with a clean broth that didn't feel heavy. The addition of extra steak on the side made it even more satisfying the meat was tender, plentiful, and really boosted the overall heartiness of the bowl. Super comforting and filling without weighing me down. The shrimp spring rolls were another highlight rolled tightly with fresh herbs, crisp veggies, and just the right amount of shrimp. They tasted refreshing and balanced, perfect with the dipping sauce. You could tell everything was made fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Our food came out quickly even as the restaurant started to get busy. Ambiance was bright and welcoming, with nice modern lighting features at the entrance that gave the place a lively, yet relaxed feel. It's clearly a popular spot, since it filled up quickly after we arrived.

This place actually surprised me so much. Was looking for a late-night eat in Salinas and thank you Yelp for this wonderful suggestion. The place was quite big and we were able to get seated immediately. The prices overall compared to the Bay Area was very affordable which we were happy about. I will say because only one person was working the entire room, after we took our order the food took some time to come but that's understandable given there's only one waiter. I ordered the Dac Biet Xe Lua (Pho) and it was fantastic. The portion sizes were huge with all different cuts of beef in there. I really appreciate the broth as there was a hint of sour-ness inside and rich meaty flavor. The noodles also seemed never-ending. If you're looking for a quantity and authentic Vietnamese food, highly recommend checking out Thanh Loi. I can't wait to come back to try their other menu items.

Had a really good experience at Thanh Loi Noodles on a random Sunday evening. Weather was cool, perfect soup weather. I went with my usual Pho Tai, as I do at most pho restaurants. The broth was tasty and didn't make me thirsty later, which meant little to no MSG was added. My tastebuds are ultra sensitive to MSG. The thinly sliced beef was plentiful, as well as their noodles. In fact, I didn't finish the noodles, which is rare. Shared an order of fried spring rolls and they had just the right crisp without all the oil. Service was so-so/ok, I don't really take that into consideration unless it's truly horrific. Food comes fairly quickly, restaurant was clean, so were the restrooms, and plentiful parking, what's not to like? If I'm passing through the area and craving pho, I'll be stopping by again. #21/2024

Great pho! Tasted super authentic and boba here was great too! Price was also good for the amount of food you get. Service was good and everyone was super nice.

Very good pho restaurant. Had the pho tai with meatballs. Everything was great the greens, the broth, the meat. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were fair. The ambience was a typical pho restaurant. Highly recommend the spot

I've been craving a good, authentic Vietnamese food and so when we had to run errands in the area, I immediately got on Yelp to search. Found this gem! Food was delicious and totally satisfied my craving! Service was excellent! This place, clean and spacious, is located in the Santa Rita Plaza where Buffalo Wild Wings is located. We will definitely be back!

I love this place! I always get the Chicken Pho, the spring rolls, and a Thai tea. The pho is always warm and comforting, and the customer service is pleasant. Consistently a great spot for a satisfying meal.

Does this restaurant serve locally sourced food?

I believe they do. I have seen boxes of vegetables delivered with local labels.

Ordered pho, shaking beef, banh xeo, and others that I could not remember. Their pho was good, big portion and full of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was overcooked and the other parts of the meat have too much fats in them, so it was down on the score. Their shaking beef was also meh, very thin and overly sweet, probably not their strongest dish. Banh xeo was full of meat and fillings, but not particularly crispy. All in all, it was tasty but only lacking a bit here and there. Their service was pretty good though. Their restaurants are also huge, which is a plus.

From the moment I walked in, the service began with a bad start. The staff were chatting and joking behind the counter and too distracted to notice me. I had to grab a menu myself and ask in a loud tone if I could sit anywhere just to get their attention. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come by. I ordered a boba drink and pho with brisket. The server returned after another 8 minutes to say they were out of both the boba flavor I wanted and the brisket. After I reordered, the replacement boba arrived extremely sweet -- basically tasted like watered-down sugar syrup with almost no tea flavor. The pho was even more disappointing.. the broth was watery and bland, there was very little beef, and the bowl was light on noodles and toppings. It felt like a shadow of what they used to serve. It's sad to see a spot that was once one of the best pho places in Salinas (in my opinion) decline this sharply. The restaurant was unusually empty, and the few other customers looked just as unimpressed. I understand rising food and restaurant operating costs, but cutting quality this much will only drive more people away. I rarely leave negative reviews and I don't consider myself to be such a picky eater, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I'm not sure I'll be back.

The noodles were fresh, not clumpy at all, and very enjoyable to eat. I also asked for extra beef, and they definitely did not skimp on the portions, which was a huge plus. The spring rolls were another standout fresh, tightly rolled, and well-made. My only small criticism is that I wish the peanut sauce had a little more flavor and punch to it. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was efficient and the staff stayed friendly and attentive throughout. The ambiance is on the smaller side, but the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be coming back!

The gentleman working the front gave me so many options to choose from, explained the entirety of the menu, and even gave advice on which dishes to choose from based on my flavor pallet. He was very informative, patient, and so helpful in choosing my first tai experience. The fried appetizers, wonton and dumplings were so crispy and fresh.
