    Back Rib Spicy Noodle Soup

First time that my husband and I had lunch at Pho # 1 Noodle House. My husband ordered the Vietnamese dry noodle salad (# 20), and I chose the Back rib spicy noodle soup (# 16). Both were delicious, but my Back rib spicy noodle soup was extra tasty, and the presentation was so appetizing. Besides the excellent food, we were privileged to have Anna as our waitress, and what a kind and attentive person she is. So I am happy to share that our experience at Pho #1 Noodle House was totally positive and worth it.

Right when you walk in you can tell this place needs some TLC. The floor and tables were dirty and hardly anyone in the booths. The food I would rate a 6/10. The lemon grass chicken is extremely spicy. The chicken is fried in dirty oil. Don't recommend. Better off going down to Thanh Loi Noodles.

Even the soup was so tasty.

Tony and the other lady who helped us out we're very sweet and helpful . The service was very attentive. The building itself was very clean and just overall very welcoming . I got the fried rice and beef and it tastes very home made . Very flavorful , worth the price . 10/10 recommend coming here . Thank you PHO noodle house

    Overcharged for undercooked soup

This place is a joke! It was our second time we came in for dinner. Our Server Tony sold himself at the beginning. He answered each question regarding the menu options I had chosen. Unfortunately for my husband he wasn't satisfied with his order. The egg noodles to his won ton soup were too tough to chew. The wonton pork meat was tough as well. I walked over and politely informed Tony of the concerns. His immediate answer was it can't be raw or uncooked! I continued to express we were unsatisfied as he just stood there. I asked for another to have it re made or just another one. He nodded and walked away. At no point did he apologize for the inconvenience or state he would be charging the extra soup bowel. I had a gut feeling through the rest of my time there he was upset. since he showed no interest to see how we were doing. Until I asked for the check... I walked up to pay and not to my surprise it was much more than expected. Long story short "we served you and we have to charge you for it!" Tony said. Looks like the pandemic is still hurting business and I get that but talk about customer satisfaction and welcoming us back. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! It was the attitude at the end for me. So I guess he could use that extra money as a tip

Love the pho broth! Good boba drinks, service oriented. I have enjoyed pho at almost every local spot and I dig this one for repeat visits.

Starting with the Supercharger, this was easily the standout of the two. It's loaded with roast beef, bacon, turkey, ham, salami, pepperoncini, tomatoes, red onions, gouda cheese, and chipotle aioli on a ciabatta roll. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, which makes it super satisfying. The combination of the soft ciabatta and cheese worked really well together and balanced out the heaviness of the meats. My only complaint is that it could've used a bit more sauce, something like extra mustard or mayo would've taken it to the next level. Still, a strong 8.5/10. The Belair was decent but didn't quite hit the same level. It came with turkey breast, bacon, gouda cheese, spring mix, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncini, and chipotle aioli on fresh sliced sourdough. Ours actually came with American cheese instead of gouda, which slightly changed the flavor profile. It was a good sandwich overall, but noticeably drier, especially with the sourdough, so it definitely needed more sauce to bring everything together. I'd give it a 7.2/10. Service was fast and efficient, which I appreciated. The ambiance stood out too, it has a cool retro gas station vibe that gives the place some personality and makes it feel unique. Staff was friendly, and the overall experience was smooth.

It had a sweet mustard that took the sandwich to another level, and I loved that it came with sprouts. We also got a tasty pickle and piece of an orange on the side. My son really enjoyed his Caesar salad wrap. He said the wrap itself was incredibly soft, the croutons were crunchy, and the chicken was warm, tender, and flavorful. The Caesar dressing was spot on with just the right amount. He usually adds extra dressing to Caesar wraps, but this one didn't need a thing. The service was excellent. We originally asked about the Caesar salad wraps since we didn't see it on the menu, and the cashier kindly let us know they still make it, which was a pleasant surprise. Our food came out quickly, everyone was friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. Overall, we had a wonderful lunch and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh, delicious sandwiches and great customer service.

The deli refuses to take responsibility. Second time. Avoid delivery until they fix it unless you really trust that it will be done right. For me, they messed up the past two times. I also question why they don't have a manager on site on a holiday who could help.

We finally got the chance to check it out. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The Prunedale Market is located along side the highway 101 freeway in the small town of Prunedale. It just takes a few long right turns to get there. Parking is easy and accessible out in the front parking lot. From the front, the market does not look like a popular BBQ spot. It looks like a simple small market store to grab quick snacks and drinks. Once inside there is a BBQ and deli section to your right. A small dining area is to your left. The decor is old fashioned and quaint. The 2 gentlemen greet you with friendly hospitality. We ordered the Tri tip sandwich, half slab of ribs which includes 2 potatoes and a cup of corn chowder. The pit master/owner Martin, who use to work for Original Joe's, was kind enough to also include a quarter chicken leg, a sausage, and extra ribs. It was so much food for our party of 3. Everything was delicious and hearty. The Tri tip sandwich was scrumptious with the flaming Fritos adding a nice crunchy texture and kick with every bite. The ribs were juicy and smokey. Potatoes complemented very well with the rest of the meat and chicken. Corn chowder was so tasty and creamy. I did not know corn chowder was that good. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Prunedale Market. The staff were super nice and accommodating. They even offered for our son to grab some free ice cream to go. We politely declined. The prices were very reasonable. All that food fed us for the next 2 days. Lol. We hope to be back when we are in the area with other friends and family.
