We've eaten at their Seaside location and there is no comparison. The chow mein and chow fun they serve as an option on their dinner plates are plain, no veggies, no nothing, no flavor. Their fountain drink machine is broken and they don't plan to fix it, so only canned sodas here. We'll stick to the Seaside location.

The worst pork egg roll. The dry noodle with pork taste like teriyaki bowl, Not your typical Vietnamese food. You will be disappointed

The worst pork egg roll. It came burnt and the taste is spoiled. Yuck! The dry noodle vermicelli with pork is like teriyaki bowl. Very saucy, I don't even bother putting the fish sauce anymore . It's probably gonna look like soup. And the taste is yuck! Not your typical Vietnamese food. You will be disappointed

Super Dry Rice, no egg, no onion

ISURPRISED RICE! I usually don't order at this location, but today I did and let me tell you this is not the one. I eat a lot of Vietnamese/asian food and today this is far from it. I was craving fried rice and fried chicken but today I got some sort of orange rice that looks like it's from the Spanish restaurant. Don't get me wrong I love Spanish food but this taste awful. It was dry AF had no Flavor and did I say it was dry AF. Anyways I don't ever waste my food but I also don't want to choke on it. I couldn't take anymore so the trash it goes. As far as the fried chicken, it was surprisingly good and tasty but dinky as hell. I'm only give this review 1 star because the chicken was crispy. Pic on left is from chopstick salinas and right is chopstick seaside. - also the fried rice had no egg, no green onion smh

1B. Pho Chin (Brisket Beef Noodle Soup)
    Meztli S.

Came here with a friend and we expected the most as we've been to the Chopstix in Monterey. Service was fast. We both ordered the pho chin brisket beef noodle soup but our meat was extremely discolored. It looked grey. I was picking at the meat and a piece i picked up felt like actual plastic. Will not be returning to this location ever again. Server was nice though!

Spicy Bbq chicken plate I think! Super delicious!!

I did not have high hopes for this place when we stopped here on our way to San Luis Obispo in April 2021 lol. But let's just say I was veryyyyy pleasantly surprised!!! I got the lychee bubble tea which was possibly the most delicious boba drink I've had in my life. I also got a spicy bbq chicken plate I think? I was sooo hungry and it was also delicioso!

Vietnamese Egg Rolls. Burnt egg rolls lol

Sad to say last night was not the night,We love to come here for good cheap Vietnamese food. We order Vietnamese veggie egg rolls Two lemon grass dry noodle bowls. And a kids meal pho soup. They came out with the kids soup at first, then our two dry noodle bowls. We got our appetizers being the Eggs rolls at the end. And the eggs rolls where so burnt.. we had to ask them to take it off our bill and to take them back. The server was kindly to do that. The rest of the food was great meat was warm ,We came in around 7:30pm they do close at 8:00pm So maybe they where in a hurry to close down. The restaurant is big and does have a lot of seating and they took away their bar table at the front. And added new seating

S1. Basil Eggplant with Chicken and Tofu
    Agnes D.

Wow! Their Chicken/Tofu Basil Eggplant was yummy! The sauce was the killer, i shoulda ordered a bigger plate. The other day, i ordered the Glass noodles and that one i didn't care for that much. Overall, i will come back and try other dishes!

I had credit at this location due to the fact that they served me some spring tofu rolls with tofu that was stale and hard, they decided to give me credit for a future order. I then placed that future order weeks later and went I picked up it hair two hairs, a long one and a short one. The bad think was that I had eat half a roll. Maybe with hairs. Smh so t ever stop there again. I feel like they sido this because it was a free order.

    Shrimp and beef Spring Rolls

So I guess I'm not ordering from chopstix anytime soon, it was disappointing to find a bug in my shrimp spring roll, I am really sorry to post this pictures here but I believe we as humans deserve to be treated right, more so when a very respectful paying customer is ordering from your restaurant, I'd hope you take responsibility and take care of your cleanliness in the kitchen/restaurant. I'm not asking for a refund or a remake simply calling out to your guys attention and to be careful because we don't know what we are putting in our mouht, thank you.

9.5/10 Absolutely…read moreamazing, hands down the best Thai food in Salinas! We ordered the Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and Nam Sai, and every dish hit in its own way. Starting with the Pad Thai, we ordered it with beef and it was easily the star of the meal. Perfectly cooked soft noodles with a savory, slightly sweet sauce that was incredibly well balanced. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the addition of diced nuts added a great crunch and texture that tied everything together beautifully. The Panang Curry was also excellent. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor. It came with chicken, green beans, and bell peppers, all of which tasted fresh and perfectly cooked with a nice bite. The curry sauce was smooth and comforting, soaking into the dish incredibly well. A must-order for curry lovers. Lastly, the Nam Sai reminded us a lot of pho. On its own, it was a bit light and lacked salt, but once we added our own seasonings, it really came alive. After adjusting it to taste, it was delicious, comforting, and perfect for warming up. Service was fast and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. The ambiance was beautiful. A very nice, welcoming spot to enjoy a meal.

We've eaten here multiple times, but this time left disappointed…read more. We were sat quickly and given menus, but took our waiter quite some time to come get orders which included drinks/order together. I was in the mood for soup and had their Tom Kha a few times so originally thought about ordering that, but decided to try their Tiew Tom Yum. Mistake. My guy ordered the pork Pad Thai, and we also shared a Thai fried rice. We ordered tea, but the waiter forgot the sugar caddy we requested and didnt see him until the food arrived about 20 or so minutes later. We had some requests for side items, etc and he brought everything immediately, but didnt come back to check on us until quite some time where I had almost decided my fate of struggling through my horrible soup. It was the most sour of sour soups I've ever had. Neither one of liked it. When the waiter came around and asked about our meals expressed how much I didn't care for it, and the sour was off putting. He offered the coconut soup, which I believed was Tom Kha. When the soup was dropped off I asked for a to go container as we were done with the rest of our meals almost at that point. Again, that soup came out with an overwhelming sour flavor. Thankfully the Thai rice was delicious, so I ate the rest of that. We didnt see our server again until we were standing up ready to walk up to the front as he was the only server running around, and had one table in the place. I brought up the fact that that soup did not taste like Tom Kha, was it a different version of coconut soup? He asked the cook and she said was the same as Tom Kha. At this point we were tired and decided to go, deciding not to come back for soup ever again. Possibly, not to return in general as were irritated. Our server wasn't horrible, was very polite and was running around, however as so many servers tend to do had a one track mind only focusing on one table at a time instead of circulating his section. As a patron I don't feel like you should ever wait so long to get the check and cash out or not be checked in on more frequently.

Ordered pho, shaking beef, banh xeo, and others that I could not remember. Their pho was good, big portion and full of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was overcooked and the other parts of the meat have too much fats in them, so it was down on the score. Their shaking beef was also meh, very thin and overly sweet, probably not their strongest dish. Banh xeo was full of meat and fillings, but not particularly crispy. All in all, it was tasty but only lacking a bit here and there. Their service was pretty good though. Their restaurants are also huge, which is a plus.

I was a big fan of this place when it first opened and used to rave about their pho. Unfortunately,…read moremy visit on 5/2 was a huge letdown. From the moment I walked in, the service began with a bad start. The staff were chatting and joking behind the counter and too distracted to notice me. I had to grab a menu myself and ask in a loud tone if I could sit anywhere just to get their attention. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come by. I ordered a boba drink and pho with brisket. The server returned after another 8 minutes to say they were out of both the boba flavor I wanted and the brisket. After I reordered, the replacement boba arrived extremely sweet -- basically tasted like watered-down sugar syrup with almost no tea flavor. The pho was even more disappointing.. the broth was watery and bland, there was very little beef, and the bowl was light on noodles and toppings. It felt like a shadow of what they used to serve. It's sad to see a spot that was once one of the best pho places in Salinas (in my opinion) decline this sharply. The restaurant was unusually empty, and the few other customers looked just as unimpressed. I understand rising food and restaurant operating costs, but cutting quality this much will only drive more people away. I rarely leave negative reviews and I don't consider myself to be such a picky eater, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I'm not sure I'll be back.

Once you step inside, the vibe shifts instantly into a perfectly clean, well-organized Mexican eatery that feels both authentic and welcoming. The service is incredibly friendly and the prices are more than fair. It's the kind of hidden gem that makes you feel like you've been let in on a local secret. The food is quite frankly phenomenal. We're talking enchiladas cooked to perfection, delicious tortillas, quesadillas boasting that glorious, milky-stretchy cheese we all dream about, and bold salsas that bring just enough zing to make you reach for your napkin (and maybe a glass of water). Even the staples like refried beans and rice were flawless, leaving us with absolutely nothing to fault.
