This is a boutique red wine winery. We got a Groupon for 12 tastings, for only $23, totally worth it! Our hostess was Roxie and she put on a show for us, it was like drinks and entertainment. They have a big dog who's a total sweetheart, she was trying to go home with us

First time here yesterday and we found this place because they are dog friendly. The view is SPECTACULAR, i literally felt like i was transported to Italy! Our wine educator was Howard, he was sooo friendly and knowledgeable, he made it a great experience for us. I fell in love with their wine Aestria (spell check?) the art on the wine bottles was also super beautiful which I loved. I'd def come back in the future.

This is a beautiful property and the views are great. The event spaces are nice and the tasting price is good for the experience ($30) a person. This is unique place that is own by European family. The varietials are Itlaian and French based that are appreciated with a lot of knowledge given by the wine expert. The six tasting flight we enjoyed was also paralleled with some Cab/Sauv and Merlot wines that were comped. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable as I expressed earlier. You have to come to experience and appreciate the overall feel and texture of this place. I do have to mention that the wines and pallet may not be for everyone. The methods and preparation for the vintages are unique to the vintner. Also, there are no food options available only pretzels that are given free.

This was my first visit to GBV as it's known around the area. It's located on top of a hill so the views are breathtaking. They are currently under some renovation but we did tasting out back with Howard and had a great time. They are strictly a red wine winery and chose the wines themselves that we tasted, fine by me. Howard guided us through our tastings and told us of fabulous food pairings as well as the tasting notes of each wine. This winery is also dog friendly and the owner had his two dachshunds running freely around the property.

My friends and I stopped by here on a whim, and we were not disappointed! They make big, well balanced reds and they know their business. Howard was very knowledgeable, and Kenny was a great host. The views were amazing, and though the weather was a tad warmer, it was still comfortable to sit outside and enjoy them. I definitely plan to return!

Strange sign in the women's bathroom. Really?? Kinda gives the vibes that there's a hidden camera in there.

This winery was recommended as a stop to our group of wine professionals, including two WSET 3 Somms. (One being my husband) . Driving up, I was very impressed with the building design and vineyards and excited to taste the wines. From there, things got a little weird and surprising actually. We were led through a building that looked like an outdated wedding facility, to a back patio that had round event tables covered in tired, burgundy tablecloths. This is where our tasting was set up. Our tasting menus were laminated with areas to score each wine with a sharpie, which we all thought was really odd. We just wanted to taste through the wines and discuss them. Howard our server was very knowledgeable about the wines themselves, and liked to talk. I wouldn't call him an educator though especially amongst our our group, he's more of a wine salesman, friendly but overwhelming. There were bags of some kind of janky chips on the table, which, if they were to be a palate cleanser, they missed the mark with their spicy saltyness. Howard was very slow to serve us each wine and we could see him on a computer inside the building. There was only one other table of two outside, other than that, the place was empty. At one point I looked in and Howard was at a makeshift tasting counter where he had the open bottles and took a drink right out of a bottle, not kidding. We actually thought this was kind of funny. A man with a dog and a glass of wine mosied through, we figured the owner. He didn't stop to say hello though if he was the owner. My husband and I enjoy seated tastings when the wine is good, the wine steward is knowledgeable and paces it well. None of the wines we tasted were good, I would say even flawed and past their prime. Nothing we tasted was younger than 2018, Howard, said that they like to age their wines longer, maybe they need to rethink this. This winery that looks very charming on the outside but needs a lot of work on the wine program and the overall aesthetics. It has the bones to be a fantastic Winery but the dated 80's vibe, tacky feel, noisy fans, no music, odd tasting menu, cheap seating and bathrooms with odd signs in it all needs an overhaul, it's definitely not the vibe you get from the website. I'm pretty sure from their website that it is mostly a wedding venue and the weddings do look beautiful, so do some areas that we did not see, even a lake apparently! If I could give separate stars, I would've said 5+ for the outside of the building when you drive up and Vineyard views. Zero for pretty much everything else. We bought one bottle of wine as a pity purchase.

A real treat, Howard makes the whole experience a10+++++. He gets an A+. Knows his wines, the establishment and his humour made it a PERFECT WINE-TASTING EXPERIENCE. Gershon Bachus I'm sure realises what an asset he is! Great view, great wines, great labels on their bottles, great ambience. Everyone should make this a must!!!

The wines are surprisingly good for Temecula. However the prices are too high. I bought the Zin, even though it was pricey.

Upon arrival, the property checked one of my requirement boxes: paved parking. I cannot tolerate parking in dirt that removes the shine on my tires and rims. After some confusion, I finally arrived at the correct tasting room for non-members and began my tasting with assistance from Eric, a fine young gentleman who offered to guide me through my journey. He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same. The property is very large, and well-maintained, and also hosts a distillery, somewhat hidden in the form of a speakeasy of sorts. Didn't partake, but intend to return in the future to sample. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will give some thought to joining their membership. Great views atop the hill, and a mellow vibe. Thank you Eric! Great customer service.

We were here on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. They have a pretty spacious inside with a sort of shop as well for other non-wine items. Their cute thing is that they use poker chips to turn in for your wine tastings. We also got a little marinera sauce with some dippers while we were tasting. There was at least 1 or 2 wines that we really liked, but it was our 3rd stop and we had to travel home with 2 other bottles of wine, so we ended up leaving with a bottle of the marinera sauce because it was that good. We had a wonderful time tasting everything, didn't feel rushed and Ben was really knowledgeable with any questions that we had. The bartender was genuinely friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We sat outside on a very hot day, but the cooling misters made it surprisingly comfortable and enjoyable. What they call the sweet red wines, which are actually not dessert wines, are pretty good, though I suspect too sweet for most. Most of their other reds are very dry, if that is your thing. I didn't care for them. The negatives: Dirt parking lot. Definite car wash after visiting. The wine tasting room and the restaurant are in the same room. It's very unbecoming of a place like this. Speaking of which, the MAJOR downer, which is why this gets a 3 star review, is its like they ran out of money when they got to the wine tasting room and restaurant, which for some reason were combined. The wine tasting room and restaurant are like a glorified high school cafe. It's completely inconsistent with the rest of the place. It took all the pleasure out of wine tasting - like drinking wine out of a coffee cup. The food was ok but not spectacular. The gyros were good, the caramel lava cake was awful. It was like taking a 6 pack of small funnel cakes from Ralph's and pouring liquid caramel purchased from another aisle down the center of it. Why not true Persian food, if you're going to give the place and half the wines a Persian name? And why not higher quality food? ------ It was a relative ghost town here on a Friday, and from there we went to Europa Village and it was completely packed. Totally different vibe that was electric. Made me realize even more why Fazeli was so underwhelming. Wish we would have eaten at Europa.

It made the shortlist for stops, and after we left another winery for weird vibes, we ended up coming to Miramonte. We were immediately impressed - the parking was full and we got lucky a little further away, and there was a guy in a golf cart going around giving people rides to/from their cars. He picked us up, let us know cart service ended at 9pm and reassured an incoming car that he had spotted them and that he would come around to give them a ride. Fantastic service there! We had not made a reservation and had to put our names on the waitlist, but were able to get some wines and sit in open seating. The main criticism I have here is that my friend paid for 2 wines and then we swapped - I was offered the opportunity to tip, but my friend was not - and the server added tip on himself! Our bills should have been the same (since we ordered the same thing both times) but my friend's was higher. Other than that - we enjoyed the rest of our visit. We got through 2 rounds of wine before our table was ready and we were seated and had quick service. There was a live band and a lively atmosphere - a lot of people went up to dance in the open area in front of the band. We shared a charcuterie board and a cilantro-poblano Caesar - all delicious. I would say that overall, a solid choice for food and drink, but maybe make sure you can tip for yourself at the wine tasting area.
