They don't sell food, but they often have pop-up vendors visiting, or you're welcome to bring your own munchies. Autumn, the Tasting Room Manager, is usually pouring their wines which are well made, balanced, and offer something for everyone. Their tasting menu always offers choices of slightly dryer, acidic white wines, or medium and full bodies reds. We were wine club members for a couple years and love the benefits of free tastings and 20% off their already reasonable bottle prices. They're also very flexible with the requirements of the club shipments, allowing you to skip as necessary. I highly recommend you visit this winery and experience their wines and hospitality for yourselves. TIP: You can reach out to them and set up a tasting in the back of the "cave's" private room, which will probably accommodate a group of 15-20 friends.

We decided to follow through on the adventure, as we jumped into the car, dropped the top, and headed down a winding road toward the property. Upon arrival, I was thrilled to find the parking area was paved and the winery appeared to be new, perched atop a valley overlooking trees, vines, and green farmland. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner and staff with friendly smiles. After a brief explanation from the owner, we selected two tasting flights and took a seat outside to enjoy the view. Flight 1: 2024 Pinot Grigio, 2023 Rose, 2021 Red Blend, 2023 Muscat. Flight 2: 2023 Teroldego (Distant cousin of Syrah), 2022 Merlot, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Red Blend. The property was rustic yet modern, resembling a family room, living room, bar, and dining room, with a spacious outdoor entertainment area for all to enjoy, featuring sofas, coffee tables with fire pits, and end tables. Other seating options included picnic tables and beach chairs, perched at different levels along the cliff overlooking the vines and valleys below. On this particular day, it was quite windy, which made the outdoor option a bit chilly. This winery has food vendors, but allows patrons to bring food for on-site consumption. Overall, the experience was nice and relaxing, with gentle music playing in the background, allowing for pleasant conversations without the bar atmosphere typically found at wineries in Temecula. The wine was nice and refreshing, as we sipped and enjoyed the prosciutto, cheese, fruit, and chips we brought along. Adobe Hill is a definite return in the near future, having checked all of my favorable boxes.

Our toddler was able to run around and explore because there was so much space (but we did come at 4pm on a Sunday). The wine was excellent. We had a bottle of the 2021 cab and a 2021 red blend, and both were great choices. There was also a pizza vendor on-site, and the pizzas were amazing. Maddie took care of us and was incredibly attentive. Even though we were seated outside, she consistently came by to check on us throughout our three-hour stay, which we really appreciated and elevated our experience. The winery is a bit out there, but if you're in the area or looking for a great winery to spend a relaxing day, I highly recommend this spot.

This time around, we were committed to giving it a try based on positive reviews. When we entered the tasting room, the small bar area was completely full with a large group. There is no where to sit, so our party of 3 stood around a small table in the back. The tasting room was rather warm, and although they do have a small section of outdoor seating, we were not able to sit outside because of the larger parties inside. There was only 1 person working, and although she was nice, we felt a bit overlooked as she focused her attention on the group around the bar. When she came over to us, we let her know we were there for a tasting, and she told us we would pay up front and she would bring us our glasses. We paid her, and she brought the wine list and poured our first tasting. I noticed the list was all red wines and asked her if they had any whites, to which she responded by saying no, they only had reds. I wished she had mentioned this before charging us. I love red wine, but on this particular occasion, a 90 degree day, I would have preferred white wine. We had already paid, so we decided to make the best of it, and tried all 5 wines. I can't lie, they were very good! We especially liked the Sangiovese, Merlot, and Syrah, but we noticed the pours weren't consistent. Some pours were smaller than others. We all agreed the server was a nice lady, and the wines were very good, but it just wasn't the most relaxing or inviting experience. If we wanted either a glass or bottle of good red wine we would consider this winery, but for variety, or a membership, we would try somewhere else.

Alejandro is an exceptional young man with an amazing palate! He will be a prominent figure in the winei ndustry someday. Lorenzi "Price point" is getting outrageous considering the glut of great wines and grapes on the market today. The inside tasting room gets noisy very quickly, needs some sound dampening. The outside patios are wonderful for the view and the shade, misters/heaters, etc... Unfortunately, when they have LIVE Music - which include some exceptional artist - the MUSIC IS TOO LOUD!!! Several times now we have taken guests. We want to enjoy great wine and interserting conversation. Instead it has always been a shouting match to talk over the music - no matter where we sit. Even the employees have mentioned it's too loud for them and uncomfortable. Brenda or the Artist keep cranking up the volume. If I wanted to go to a concert, I'll buy tickets for the appropriate venue. When I go wine tasting with friends, I want to enjoy the wine and be able to hear the conversation with some nice BACKGROUND (not blaring) music.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and hospitable, making the experience feel even more special. On a recent visit, we got to meet winemaker Stephen Andrews in his Temecula Hills Winery tasting…read moreroom in Old Town Temecula. I only tasted the Raspberry Champagne (Andrews worked on the popular Almond Champagne from Wilson Creek before branching out on his own). Made with Chenin Blanc grapes, this crisp sparkling wine has a sweet raspberry tang ($14.95). The real highlight though, was tasting the wonderful olive oils and vinegars (most) made by Andrews as well -- with the creator himself narrating the tasting. At least three plain olive oils, yet each with a distinct peppery or nutty flavor. Then, onto the flavored oils($20): jalapeno, Meyer lemon, orange and -- my very favorite -- basil were the ones that stood out the most. Of the vinegars ($16), there's an Estate Cabernet vinegar made with grapes from the winery and a delicious fig balsamic which is sourced from another bottler which were good enough to get me to part with some cash... I was impressed with Andrews' ability with flavors and look forward to returning when he launches a food menu with offerings ideal for pairing with his wines!
