What a gem of place! I was introduced to Myrtle Creek Vineyards by a friend who is a member. He is a huge wine fanatic and is meticulous with his choice in memberships, so this alone was a great endorsement. I loved the backyard feel of this winery, a very relaxed vibe. The wines we tried were all amazing and I will definitely be considering a wine membership. This place is a bit off the beaten path (which I love) and I immediately felt welcomed by the staff and other patrons. Can't wait to go back!

I love this winery. It is quaint and feels immediately familiar upon arrival. The wines are absolute fantastic and each one is better than the last. This place is a rare gem as it is becoming harder and harder to find small boutique winery's as most of them gravitate towards becoming mega-wineries (looking at you Temecula). Make sure you pick up a bag of the sourdough crackers and goat cheese, those alone would be worth the drive. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, this place is a must stop every time we are in the area.

Visited for the first time today with my wife. LOVED the quaint, rustic feel with a homey, welcoming vibe. We visited with Mandy and she was wonderful ! She gave us details on all the Fallbrook wineries with some nice suggestions. My wife had a Sparkling Rose and I had the Sangiovese - both were excellent and would order again. Put Myrtle Creek Vineyards on your places to visit.

I absolutely love it here! It's small but perfect because we live locally so it's less than a 10 minute drive. The atmosphere was wonderful! Super nice staff!! We came on a day where they had yummy fruit as well! Thank you again! Overall - Amazing service and wine!! I was a fan of their Sauvignon Blanc - 2019 Call me the breeze! Soo tasty and very refreshing! Especially on a hot summer day! They have plenty of outdoor seating and parking! Thank you again for amazing wine! I will definitely be back!

Looking for wine tasting? Looking for some fun people to chat with? Looking for a friendly, casual outdoor, COVID-safe atmosphere that will make you feel like you're living your best life? Looking for great wine? You found it - Myrtle Creek Vineyards. Matt is the owner and is there to tell you all about the wines he serves. He grows the grapes right behind the tasting deck. He supplements his grapes with locally grown grapes. The result is delicious. All of the wines are named after songs so that adds an extra layer of fun. If you want a small batch, smoky wine, stop in and buy the Witchy Woman - we have a dozen of them waiting for a special occasion. Anna is also there on Sundays. She is super friendly and knowledgeable. She works with Matt as she gets her own degree in agriculture with an eye toward starting her own wine production operation. She seems to never forget a face. Myrtle Creek is open on the weekends from noon to 5:00. Sign up for their wine club for a few extra perks!See you tasting!

Ask the Community - Myrtle Creek Vineyards

Hi! Are your wines vegan friendly? 🍷

Is it only 21 and up or is it kid/teen friendly?

We do allow persons under the age of 21. Our tasting area is outdoors, but there isn’t much for kids to do though. Hope that helps. Matt

I was fortunate to meet with the owner's wife Audrey Sherman, who clearly is a very pleasant unassuming woman that is running the operations since the passing of her husband Matt, the wine maker.

Owners, Kim & George, are very friendly and offer up a huge selection of white and red wines. Parking can be a challenge. If there are no spaces open at the top of the hill, you'll have to park along the side of a steep driveway. The one plus is that they do have a golf cart that will run people up and down the hill, but I don't know if that's always available. The tasting room is average size, but there is a spiral staircase that leads to a large upstairs patio (uncovered) with incredible views. You can certainly enjoy a glass or bottle up there and take in the amazing views...all the way to the ocean! WINES: The Beach House property is 4 acres total, with 2 acres planted with grapes. On our last visit, the tasting menu listed 14 wines (whites, rosé, and reds), and we even tried a couple that weren't on the menu. The wines are well made, and some that we've purchased in the past have laid down well in our cellar. I always state, individuals' palates can be very different than mine, but I'm pretty sure there will be a wine you'll enjoy. I recommend you visit and check them out for yourselves. I think you'll enjoy it. NOTE: They're only open on Saturdays/Sundays.

The owners are welcoming, and knowledgeable, making the tasting experience both enjoyable and informative. Their passion for winemaking is evident and adds a personal touch to the visit. The winery is also the owners' residence, which adds a charming, personal feel to the experience. Don't worry about limited parking at the top, one of the owners (the very kind husband!) will happily and safely drive you up and down the hill in a golf cart. Such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! I'm looking forward to coming back to try more wines, and to check out the pizza vendor they had on-site. It looked and smelt amazing! Great wine, stunning views, and a friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for?

Admission to the pumpkin patch was free, and so was parking, so you really can't beat that. I went right when they opened on the weekend to beat the crowd, and it was totally worth it. The staff were so nice and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was super relaxed and family-friendly. The pumpkin patch itself was adorable and had tons of pumpkins to choose from. There is ample room for the children to run around. There was also face painting for them as well. They also had a few local vendors selling treats. I grabbed some salty popcorn and kettle corn (both delicious!) and treated myself to a red sangria that was just as good. Overall, I had a lot of fun here, and it was definitely worth the drive. I wouldn't mind coming back, maybe next time in the evening to enjoy the sunset vibes. I also learned that this winery turns their pumpkin patch into a tree farm for the winter season, so I'm hoping when that happens, they'll have their hard cider available for purchase!

Check-in was easy, and the staff was very nice and welcoming. There were a couple of minor issues that affected our stay.
