This was my first stop in a tour of local Fallbrook Wineries and it did not dissappoint. The ladies there have great hospitality and shared alot of information about the winery and the wines they offer. We did a tasting and settled on a glass of the Bordeaux blend which was very nice, so nice we ended up taking a bottle of that home with us. We met up with some local friends and enjoyed the good wine outdoors on that beautiful sunny day. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. read more

He is a huge wine fanatic and is meticulous with his choice in memberships, so this alone was a great endorsement. I loved the backyard feel of this winery, a very relaxed vibe. I love this winery. It is quaint and feels immediately familiar upon arrival. The wines are absolute fantastic and each one is better than the last. This place is a rare gem as it is becoming harder and harder to find small boutique winery's as most of them gravitate towards becoming mega-wineries (looking at you Temecula). Make sure you pick up a bag of the sourdough crackers and goat cheese, those alone would be worth the drive. I absolutely love it here! It's small but perfect because we live locally so it's less than a 10 minute drive. The atmosphere was wonderful! Super nice staff!! This place is so cute! Took my wife here for Mother's Day. The staff was so nice and attentive. We had 2 tastings and loved the wine. Had a couple of glasses while we sat under the trees and listened to a really talented woman on acoustic guitar with a beautiful voice. Great goat cheese with spices to spread on our crackers. Yummy! Another Fallbrook winery that we stopped by a couple weeks ago. It's set on a very nice property, easy to find and plenty of parking. The tasting room and covered outdoor bar/tasting area were very full when we arrived, but we were promptly greeted and assisted in finding a spot at the inside bar to taste. They charge $10 for a 5-pour tasting and they'll waive the fee for each bottle purchased (very generous). They also offer case discounts. We tasted the '16 Rose, '15 Syrah, '15 Arroyo Dulce Blend (Bordeaux style), '15 Sangiovese, and a '15 Zinfandel. They also have a '15 Grenache coming soon. I think the Arroyo Dulce blend and the Syrah were my favorite and my wife liked the Sangiovese, but we both thought all of the wines were a little lighter than what we normally drink. However, judging from comments of those around us, others seemed to really like what they have to offer, so I suggest that you stop in and check it out for yourself. read more

We treated ourselves to a tasting after our Monserate Mountain hike. We are so happy to have a local friendly winery that is dog friendly and does not require appointments. This place is rad. I was headed to the botanical gardens to look for some wild birds and they had a wedding going on so I went to the winery instead. I had a glass of cab (nice pour btw) and conversed with the owners. They are all nice and friendly. Also, they do something that is close t my heart due to working in special education; they have a nice lady named Jennifer who is they certified greeter and I just love and support any business that employs individuals on the spectrum. My husband went there with his Caucasian friend and my African American college educated, respectably dressed husband spoke to the Owner who acted as a worker. Later found out he was the Owner and Owner denied the wine tasting to my husband but offered it to his Caucasian friend. Do not give this family owned business any money.
