This was my first stop in a tour of local Fallbrook Wineries and it did not dissappoint. The ladies there have great hospitality and shared alot of information about the winery and the wines they offer. We did a tasting and settled on a glass of the Bordeaux blend which was very nice, so nice we ended up taking a bottle of that home with us. We met up with some local friends and enjoyed the good wine outdoors on that beautiful sunny day. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. read more

Made a last minute decision to stop by the winery for Mothers Day weekend gathering. Mandy was so welcoming and went out of her way to provide a level of service and kindness not experienced for a while. The wines and slushies were amazing on a fairly warm day. Plan on bringing a bigger group of family that will be in town for a a wedding later this month. read more

What a gem of place! I was introduced to Myrtle Creek Vineyards by a friend who is a member. He is a huge wine fanatic and is meticulous with his choice in memberships, so this alone was a great endorsement. I loved the backyard feel of this winery, a very relaxed vibe. The wines we tried were all amazing and I will definitely be considering a wine membership. This place is a bit off the beaten path (which I love) and I immediately felt welcomed by the staff and other patrons. Can't wait to go back! read more

Myrtle Creek Vineyards - Wine Tasting Room Near Me - Fallbrook, California

Authentic Boutique winery ...nothing fancy about ambiance - it's all in the wine that counts! Myrtle Creek's latest triumph is a deep, well-structured 2021 Petite Syrah that truly reveals itself after about 20 minutes of breathing. This estate-grown gem layers bold fruit, peppery spice, and plush tannins in a wine that evolves in the glass ...yes, I know it sounds like I'm a salesman -NOT! ... I've traveled a lot through Europe, the US and California for over 20yrs. I was fortunate to meet with the owner's wife Audrey Sherman, who clearly is a very pleasant unassuming woman that is running the operations since the passing of her husband Matt, the wine maker. I visited several acclaimed wineries here, and there is none that compare for quality, value and the people who serve you here! I will definitely be back to buy more! read more

Great service and a unique take on some Italian wines such as Barbera, and Sangiovese . On the smoother, more well rounded side, with nice tannin structure. read more

This place is so quaint and I've never met so many people at one time at a winery! People are so nice and that's hard to come by at times. Had an amazing opportunity to have both Mandy and Anna do a tasting for my group. They even let us try's some wines they were working on! This place is a must!! read more

I love this winery. It is quaint and feels immediately familiar upon arrival. The wines are absolute fantastic and each one is better than the last. This place is a rare gem as it is becoming harder and harder to find small boutique winery's as most of them gravitate towards becoming mega-wineries (looking at you Temecula). Make sure you pick up a bag of the sourdough crackers and goat cheese, those alone would be worth the drive. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, this place is a must stop every time we are in the area. read more

This place is so cute! Took my wife here for Mother's Day. The staff was so nice and attentive. We had 2 tastings and loved the wine. Had a couple of glasses while we sat under the trees and listened to a really talented woman on acoustic guitar with a beautiful voice. Great goat cheese with spices to spread on our crackers. Yummy! They were all so nice to us even with a 2 year old in tow. Thanks for making it a great day! You guys are awesome! read more

Looking for wine tasting? Looking for some fun people to chat with? Looking for a friendly, casual outdoor, COVID-safe atmosphere that will make you feel like you're living your best life? Looking for great wine? You found it - Myrtle Creek Vineyards. Matt is the owner and is there to tell you all about the wines he serves. He grows the grapes right behind the tasting deck. He supplements his grapes with locally grown grapes. The result is delicious. All of the wines are named after songs so that adds an extra layer of fun. If you want a small batch, smoky wine, stop in and buy the Witchy Woman - we have a dozen of them waiting for a special occasion. Anna is also there on Sundays. She is super friendly and knowledgeable. She works with Matt as she gets her own degree in agriculture with an eye toward starting her own wine production operation. She seems to never forget a face. Myrtle Creek is open on the weekends from noon to 5:00. Sign up for their wine club for a few extra perks!See you tasting! read more

Great place, very mellow. Just don't discuss politics with the staff, especially if you're not a liberal.. haven't been back since.

Such a cute place. Wines are delish, but the entrance to stand in line is tight and overwhelming, but the staff is so warm and friendly. Peetey the dog may even say hello to you! read more

Another Fallbrook winery that we stopped by a couple weeks ago. It's set on a very nice property, easy to find and plenty of parking. The tasting room and covered outdoor bar/tasting area were very full when we arrived, but we were promptly greeted and assisted in finding a spot at the inside bar to taste. They charge $10 for a 5-pour tasting and they'll waive the fee for each bottle purchased (very generous). They also offer case discounts. We tasted the '16 Rose, '15 Syrah, '15 Arroyo Dulce Blend (Bordeaux style), '15 Sangiovese, and a '15 Zinfandel. They also have a '15 Grenache coming soon. I think the Arroyo Dulce blend and the Syrah were my favorite and my wife liked the Sangiovese, but we both thought all of the wines were a little lighter than what we normally drink. However, judging from comments of those around us, others seemed to really like what they have to offer, so I suggest that you stop in and check it out for yourself. read more

This place is rad. I was headed to the botanical gardens to look for some wild birds and they had a wedding going on so I went to the winery instead. I had a glass of cab (nice pour btw) and conversed with the owners. They are all nice and friendly. Also, they do something that is close t my heart due to working in special education; they have a nice lady named Jennifer who is they certified greeter and I just love and support any business that employs individuals on the spectrum. I'll definitely be back!!!!! read more
