I look forward to returning to this family owned and operated farm/ winery . Super nice people with good wine. It's a hidden gem

What a great find on the way home from a Staycation at the local casino!! Family run winery. Very peaceful surroundings - citrus trees, very large oak trees (over 300 years old), a little wildlife (we saw 3 woodpeckers & a few lizards). Wine tastings were $10 - I went with all reds, my friend mixed it up whites and reds. Took home a bottle in their cool growler - bring it back they keep a few wines on tap. They also have wine KEGS!!! O_O They do tours by appointment as well. They are only open Friday - Saturday. Come earlier to avoid the crowds & bring a picnic if you like. Check out their gift shop as well! Very welcoming, I can't wait to go back!!

Make the drive and you will discover one of the oldest family owned wineries and vineyards deep in Valley Center in San Diego County. The Broomell's welcome you to their tasting room under 300 year old oaks overlooking beautiful orange groves with tables to picnic and enjoy your tasting. $10 per tasting and wines by the glass starting at $6. Make sure you visit the indoor area of the tasting room to see the family photos and history of the family and their property.

    Perfect setting and wonderful wine!

Today marks our 2nd trip to this FABULOUS hidden gem! This place has great wine, a wonderful atmosphere and the sweetest & friendliest service (Debbie, the owner, is a doll). When out in this area casino hopping you MUST make this a priority stop!

First, let me say that I've never been a fan of wine tasting. For me, I've always walked into a winery, stuck my nose in the air, pretended to be distinguished like everyone else, swirled my wine around in a pretentious way in my over-sized glass, sniffed it longingly, sipped, then did my best to come up with random tasting notes while others would nod and say "yes, I wholeheartedly agree." Let me be the first to tell you that a trip to Triple B Ranches is totally unlike any other wine tasting experience I've ever had. Chris, the winemaker, and his very knowledgeable business partner, Frank, are two of the coolest and approachable guys I've ever met. Their unassuming and welcoming presence was quite refreshing in the world of wine tasting, allowing me to let my guard down and just taste the wine in the relaxing way it was meant to be enjoyed. The winery is absolutely beautiful, tucked in to one of Valley Center's most calming and endearing locations on Vesper Road. Their wine is incredible and the best part is you can meet the couple who makes it while taking a tour of their rustic facility. They'll even spend an hour with you telling you all the fun stories on how it was made and intricate details about the grapes, wine varieties, storing temperatures, aging procedures and anything else you'd like to know. Anyway, if you venture into the Valley Center area and are looking for an amazing experience with great individuals and top-notch wine tasting, I promise you'll have a great time at Triple B Ranches. Call in advance for a really cool tour; you'll definitely be glad you did.

I love going here when I visit my dad in the area. I live in CARLSBAD and before going back home I love to stop here for a glass of wine. My favorite is the Vignior. Debbie is very friendly. Although I do prefer ordering a bottle instead of the glass as I'm not sure I like wine on the tap. I think they are different. I did have a glass of wine poured from the bottle which was good. When I had the second seemed very strong, not sure if it was from the same bottle or tap.

Could we bring our kids and have a picnic lunch while enjoying a tasting? Looking for a kid friendly spot after going to Bates Nut Farm.

Service was great, everyone was so nice and super helpful with wine suggestions. We ordered 1 of each empanada and the bread appetizer to share. Definitely do not pass up on either of these! The flavors were bold and balanced in each empanada. The salsa was the perfect level of spice and flavor to compliment each empanada. But the bread was my absolute favorite. I'm also just obsessed with bread and butter. Their seasonal flavored butter was divine, easily spreadable and a delicious touch I wished we had ordered a 2nd one! We devoured it so quickly as each item paired well with our wines. Both of us are fans of red wines. I ordered their Zin and have easily found a new one that I love and will have to comeback to get a bottle of for my home soon!

We ordered the charcuterie board and the bread and cheese plate as well. They were okay, but still paired nicely with the wines. The highlight, though, was the view. It was absolutely stunning and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Between the wine, the atmosphere, and the scenery, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

Before lunch, the owner, Frank, welcomed our group into the wine cellar for an impromptu tasting and shared the story of how the winery came to be. It added such a personal touch and made the experience feel far more memorable than a typical restaurant visit. The setting is absolutely stunning. Perched high above the valley, the property offers sweeping views of rolling hills, vineyards, and distant mountains that seem to stretch on forever. The vine-covered terrace provides just enough shade to linger over a glass of wine while taking in the scenery. On a clear day, it feels like you've stumbled onto a little slice of Tuscany hidden in San Diego County. The food was equally enjoyable. We shared a variety of thin-crust pizzas, burrata salad, and charcuterie boards, all of which disappeared quickly. And then came the cannoli, the perfect sweet ending to an already wonderful meal. Between the breathtaking views, warm hospitality, excellent service, delicious food, and outstanding wine, this was an experience rather than just a lunch. I left already looking forward to coming back for wine and dinner.

Both were excellent and paired perfectly with the beautiful setting. Between the wine, food, views, and dog-friendly atmosphere, we'll definitely be back.

The ambiance is beautiful, the property is gorgeous, and we really appreciate all the free events they offer. The food truck is always a solid choice with pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and even gluten-free options. If you're just looking for a snack, they also have items available inside. The wine selection is excellent, and one of our favorite things is that it's dog-friendly, so our pups can join us. My only suggestion would be to improve the wine line. It can take 10-15 minutes to get a refill, especially during trivia, which sometimes means missing the next question. It would be awesome if there were a separate line for guests who just want to order a glass of wine instead of doing a tasting. Overall, Orfila is a beautiful winery with a fun, welcoming atmosphere, great wine, and events that keep us coming back week after week. Highly recommend!
