We were greeted by their friendly Golden Retriever as soon as we stepped out of our cars. She was so cute and would put her head on our laps too. Bastian's has a small tasting patio and a gazebo with a large table for 10. The owners were very nice and the winemaker did the pours himself for our tastings. We learned about how they make their wines, where they come from, and more about their vineyard. We really like their GSM. The prices on their bottles were good too. $36 for reds and $30 for whites. Our group really enjoyed our Sunday afternoon here. The property was beautiful even in winter. I bet it's fabulous in spring when there are leaves and grapes on the vines.

Current wine list. Bottling whites in a month.

Small quiet Winery off Highland valley Road, but worth the detour if you are a red wine lover. 2016 Malbec is outstanding and worth the drive and price.

This is a beautiful venue with a main area with food and drinks and then several offshoot areas with tables for you to seat yourselves. The owner was present and let us know why it's named Speckle Rock (the soil composition) and was lovely to speak with. Will definitely be back on a quieter day to get a table and enjoy some food with the spectacular views and crisp wine!

The entrance is really pretty with a gorgeous pond/mini lake at the entrance. We parked and made our way up to the winery. When we entered the tasting room, we were greeted and provided with a lot of information about the wines they produce. We decided to try one of their newer wines called Falanghina. A very light and refreshing wine with notes of apple, lime, pineapple, and we really enjoyed this bottle. While you are drinking your wine the views are absolutely epic of the whole valley below. The surrounding hills were covered in green since it was spring and it was very relaxing and peaceful there. I look forward to returning here again in the future to try more of their wines.

I got here at 7:15 pm with the intention of leaving at 8:00 pm as I understand that's their closing time. Server told us they closed at 8pm, but patrons could stay up to 8:30pm. She stated she doesn't understand why "sunset is advertised online" when they are closed during summer sunset time. She seemed a bit annoyed at us, which I understood as closing time was happening soon. We left before other patrons did, prior to 8:30pm. I had no issue with that, my issue was with the way she spoke to my partner. As we were closing out she said we could not get a new glass, but could get topped off. My boyfriend asked if she could top off his glass, and she said something along the lines of "look at you using a new vocab word, you were paying attention to what I said". I'm not one who gets offended easily, but that comment came across as patronizing to me. Perhaps that wasn't her intention, but it was how it was perceived. Such a shame. I'd love to continue coming back, I just hope future interactions are more welcoming.

This would be zero star review if Yelp gave the option…read more I was seriously considering booking a pool day at Bandy Canyon Ranch until I watched friends spend over $200 on a cabana and saw how they were treated. After seeing their experience, I won't be booking here. What concerns me most isn't that something went wrong--every business has off days. It's how management handled it. Bandy Canyon advertises a poolside experience with food and beverage packages, beer buckets, cocktails, and cabana service. Yet my friends were told upon arrival that there would be no pool food or beverage service because it was Friday. They were then told they should have called ahead to find out if the bar would be open. That information should be clearly disclosed before someone spends hundreds of dollars--not after they arrive. They also described a dirty pool, minimal staffing, and watched another paying guest begin cleaning the pool themselves. Most disappointing was management's response, which appeared defensive rather than focused on resolving the guests' concerns. As someone who was genuinely planning to visit, this experience has completely changed my mind. Poor customer service doesn't just affect the guests standing in front of you--it influences everyone they tell afterward. In this case, your handling of one group's experience cost you at least one future customer, and likely many more through word of mouth. I hope Bandy Canyon improves its transparency and guest service, because the property itself looks beautiful. Unfortunately, hospitality is measured by how guests are treated, not just by the scenery. I would avoid this place at all costs. Don't waste your time nor money. Shame on you Emma.
