This has to be the best winery in the area. The service and attention to detail is amazing. Stay a while and take in the views of the property and enjoy the company of the owners. We had the best experience with them today.

    Sangiovese is awesome

First time in sunrise vineyard and YOU have to go! It's the cutest little spot with amazing snacks . The TRAY is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. We got the flight and of course a bottle

Nice wine with a nice view

Neat experience, especially due to the sunset views. Sweet, friendly owners who served us. Tbh, this was our 4th winery since they were the only ones that were open much later, so don't remember the wine incredibly. However, we had a nice time with our two bottles of reds and a charcuterie tray! Will definitely start here first next time!

Such a beautiful tasting patio over looking a stunning view of the vineyard and valley. Great atmosphere and great wines!

Such an amazing Winery. The views are spectacular, the wine is delicious and they have pre packed food for sale in case you get hungry. They have lots of tables set up for guest to enjoy a bottle or glass of wine over looking the spectacular views of the vineyard and valley. Sunrise Vineyards is a must see winery in Ramona!

Stumbled across this vineyard after hiking nearby. Came on a Sunday an hour before they closed at 6:30 and the husband & wife team who run the winery were so friendly! I did a tasting and from someone who knows Napa and Sonoma wines, these were impressive! The grapes are also all locally sourced, from their own vineyard or nearby vineyards. The Sav Blanc was cool and crisp but the Red Wedding really stole the show! Cherry notes with a bold yet balanced profile and a finish that left nothing more to be desired show true craftsmanship in harnessing the beauty of the local terrior. Prices were reasonable, and they waive some of the tasting fee with purchase of a bottle. Will definitely be back!

Eating our charcuterie on the beautiful patio with the delicious crisp viogner.

Had such an excellent time tasting their wines and chatting the afternoon away with Larry, Ann Marie, Jim, and Leighla.

That said, the owner, Andy, was so gracious and welcoming that we genuinely want to see him succeed; it feels only right to spread the word. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We left with two bottles of wine--despite usually preferring reds, we couldn't pass up both the Albarino and the Sangiovese. One tip: double-check your route on Google Maps before heading over. Just a heads-up--it's not the dirt road!

There's a small, but comfortable area inside by a stone fireplace, as well as a nice deck in front offering the wonderful views of the vineyards and surrounding hills. They even have a cave, however it's not open to the public (at least as of our last visit). WINES: Andy (owner/winemaker) poured for us and provides good service and nice insight on his wines and vineyard. One tasting fee is waived with one bottle purchase, as Andy's motto is "We want to sell wines, not tastings". Chuparosa offers mostly Italian, French, and some Spanish varietals (Albariño, Grenache Gris, Mourvèdre/Grenache Rosè, Sangiovese, Cab Franc, and Zinfandel) and in my opinion they're all well-made, elegant wines, some of the best in the region. Chuparosa is a "must visit" winery when in the Ramona wine country.

They have unique wines infused in whiskey barrels. I had their Chardonnay which had a slight taste of whiskey in it but I thought it was pretty good. I also tried their pepperoni and sausage flat bread which also was pretty tasty. We were greeted by "Whiskey" the cat and as we were told apparently he was a stray and greets everyone as they arrive which was cute. They have misters which helped a lot with the heat.

Called 20+ Vineyard and put my requirements and was chose Crystal hill as my choice, I am so glad I made that decision. Best wine, amazing scenery, very private, kid friendly, pet friendly most of all sweetest Staff you will ever find. This is the best winery of Ramona by far and exactly what we were looking for. The view is stunning and beautiful view, atmosphere is very relaxing. Wine choices we were excellent, Excellent wine, especially the whiskey barrel wines! Wine Choices: We initially ordered wine flights, double and singles an we choose the below bottles from there. 1. 2016 Stone Lake Merlot 2. 2016 Whiskey Stone Lake Merlot 3. 2019 Malbec Rose 4. 2017 Whiskey Rose They even have food; their flatbread is amazing too. The Staff and owners were very nice, as we were having good time Scott the owner took the kids, around 10 of them to a short hike and showed them around the property and vineyard, kids had good time while adults were drinking up. Meanwhile Kristy engaged the smaller kids. It was all fun and everyone had fun. Special kudos to the lovely bartenders. If you are looking for great wines, amazing views, comfortable atmosphere, great staff, kid friendly, pet friendly, this is the place. We are going back soon
