This winery is what we are looking for. It is so quiet, and many spots where you can drink are at the tasting patio, by the lake, or beside the grapes. We had a wonderful time spent here tasting and talking relaxable. Of course, the wine was so good, too. I appreciated Carolyn, who serviced us friendly and patient after she knew we were new to wine. I will be back soon. Thanks.

Such a charming little winery! Beautiful property with several seating areas. We sat out by the lake which was very peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a fridge inside with snacks - we got a premade charcuterie board that hit the spot. They also had chips, hummus, non alcoholic beverages, dark chocolate bars, popcorn, etc. The restroom was very clean. My husband got a glass of Zinfandel and I went with the Sangiovese rosé. Both were delicious! It was very quiet on a Saturday afternoon with only one other group here.

We spent Mother's Day at Three Hills today and we really enjoyed our day! We had a wonderful, secluded table down by the lake, a beautiful charcuterie board provided by the winery, and the musicians were exceptional. We will definitely return to spend more time here. Only suggestion would be to provide trash cans so we could do a better clean up! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

On a referral from another local winery, we stopped by this new winery in the Ramona/Highland Valley area, which opened about 3 months ago. It was very easy to find/good signage and plenty of parking, although the parking area down to the tasting room/patio and pond has a decent slope, so walking for older visitors could be a little trying. The property itself is magnificent! They have a beautiful patio just outside the tasting/barrel room. Plenty of comfortable seating and shade for those warmer days. A short walk down to the pond affords beautiful photo ops or a quiet, serene place to enjoy a bottle of wine and a picnic (they do allow you to bring in your own food). We were told that there's a waterfall, but primarily active during the rainy season. Also, there's a gated pool area which can be rented for private parties, and I understand that they would eventually like to host weddings, as well. Oh yeah, they're also a dog-friendly winery. SERVICE: We were fortunate to have Jennifer and Danny assist us. Jennifer poured our wines and was super knowledgeable about the wines, vineyards, and property and such a sweetheart. Even though it was quite busy, she made us feel like we were the only ones there. The owner was also on hand, mingling with the guests and making sure all Covid-19 safety requirements were in place and being adhered to. WINES: I always say that wines are very subjective to an individual's taste, but my wife and I really enjoyed most of what we tried. Three Hills has been making wine since 2016, but they just started serving to the public. They're currently serving up a couple of whites (Picpoul and Pinot Grigio), a Sangiovese Rosé, several reds (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and a couple blends), and a killer sangria, which they sell by the glass or bottle. There was one thing that was a little disappointing; we purchased a cheese platter, several glasses of sangria, and four bottles to go and they didn't discount/waive the 5 for $15 tasting fee. I usually see this done at other wineries, so maybe this is something they'll consider moving forward. Current hours are 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday. We will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend that you give them a try.

    Unique loveseat on the grounds.

We went to the winery today. It wasn't crowded and very pleasant. The entertainment was Dana Durplan. He sang and played the guitar so pleasing. We enjoyed the music very much. We love the grounds and the wines. Lovely afternoon.

What a beautiful and serene setting for this small winery. It is the perfect place for a nice glass of wine sitting with my wife enjoying the lake and a nice conversation. Definitely will be back the servers were very knowledgeable and nice. We ordered some cheese and small bites but it is not their forte. I suggest you bring your own. Their wine was surprisingly good. My wife who has very discerning taste buds really enjoyed her glass. The outdoor furniture is very eclectic and quite the mix from grandmas attic but it only added to the quite charm of this place. We went when they only had porta potties but I understand they have a real restroom now. I highly recommend this winery hope you will enjoy it too. I heard they have live music sometimes. We will be back.

Lovely grounds and good wine. We especially liked their rose and super Tuscan blend. It was great to be able to walk around and relax by the pond under the shade of trees. The live music was great and we liked the snacks they had for sale. We would appreciate a larger food menu, but it was nice that they allow outside food. Overall, a great place to hang with friends, bring your dog and enjoy the wine and views!

This is an amazingly beautiful location for our event! The wine is wonderful and the service was superb! I highly recommend this venue!!

Initially thought everything was great. The property is beautiful, there is a nice sitting area with tables and chairs in the front near the bar, and then there are also tables and chairs set up around the pond. The staff were all very friendly, and the wine was delicious. The only issue I had and the reason I gave lower stars is because there aren't any real bathrooms, only one porta potty. For some people this might not be important but I feel like it's worth noting since I was caught off guard due to how nice the rest of the winery is.

We purchased a wine-tasting each and sat and relaxed in the un-fussy surroundings of this spacious outdoor family-owned winery. Their unfiltered wines are natural and don't have sulfites. They may be a little different to what you're used to. I can't say I really loved any of them personally, but it was interesting to try something different and the pourer explained a little bit about each wine which added to the experience. I felt the pours were on the small side for $18.50 a flight. There's plenty of seating, some shaded some not. You can sit and admire the view and watch the peacocks roam freely. Wine is available for purchase. The Italian family and employees are warm and friendly and were available to chat and tell us about their 'wine journey'. Also on site is a bocci ball court and a Christmas tree farm. I felt this winery has the potential to grow and be a lot more. It's slightly rough around the edges, but that's what adds to the charm. Give it a try! Free parking. Only open on weekends.

When we came on a Sat around 3 there were a few groups there but not too busy. I got a glass of red and my partner got the wine slushie. The lady helping us let me try a couple options before I got a glass. Prices were fair. $15 for my glass and $13 for the wine slushie. The only negative was that later that night I got a huge headache. Which doesn't usually happen when I drink wine. So not sure if something about how they make their wine impacted it.

Tristan poured for us and was a very gracious host and extremely knowledgeable about their wines. They have a nice selection of whites, reds, dessert wines, Sangria, and refreshing slushies. Their fruit is sourced primarily from California, and they make a little bit of everything. IMO, the white wines tend to be a little lighter bodied, crisp, with little time on oak. The reds were a little lighter bodied than what we usually prefer, but well made. The two "dessert" wines were outstanding. Wine tasting is very subjective, so you should definitely give it a try for yourself. They don't have food, however there are several local food vendors that will either deliver or you can pick up and eat there. The inside tasting room is not huge, but they have a large outdoor patio with wonderful views of Old Poway Park and the sunset. They're open later than most wineries, so that's a perk as well. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.
