June 2019 tasting bar menu and price board.

Correcaminos, meaning Roadrunner in Spanish, and not to be confused with Roadrunner Ridge Winery in Fallbrook, is one of our favorite places to visit and enjoy a glass (or several) of their superb wines. Owners, Sue & Doug Robinson, are two of the most cordial and fun-loving folks you'll meet...oh, and their wines are pretty awesome too! They have a huge patio with plenty of shady spots to sit and enjoy your tastings. Of course, there are Covid-19 policies in place to social distance and cover faces when walking around. They offer a large selection of wines; rose, whites, reds, and a refreshing sangria. We like almost all of the wines and there's definitely something for everyone. Do give them a try...you won't be disappointed.

Acres of beautiful grapes along with horses and chickens!

What's not to love when you have a Trifecta? Amazing wines to enjoy on an amazing patio with amazing owners that treat you like family! Correcaminos is our "go to" for Ramona wines! We often give the others a nod and enjoy tastings there, but none have matched the trifecta we get from here. Well played Doug and Sue.... Well played!

Nice little winery. The owners are laid back and very friendly and welcoming. Bring a picnic and enjoy their wines. You feel like you are at a friends backyard. Sue, the owner, was kind enough to give us a tour and explained their process of making wine. So interesting! My favorite wines were Primero and Spaghetti Strap.

Amazing wines by some amazing winemakers!

That said, the owner, Andy, was so gracious and welcoming that we genuinely want to see him succeed; it feels only right to spread the word. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We left with two bottles of wine--despite usually preferring reds, we couldn't pass up both the Albarino and the Sangiovese. One tip: double-check your route on Google Maps before heading over. Just a heads-up--it's not the dirt road!

There's a small, but comfortable area inside by a stone fireplace, as well as a nice deck in front offering the wonderful views of the vineyards and surrounding hills. They even have a cave, however it's not open to the public (at least as of our last visit). WINES: Andy (owner/winemaker) poured for us and provides good service and nice insight on his wines and vineyard. One tasting fee is waived with one bottle purchase, as Andy's motto is "We want to sell wines, not tastings". Chuparosa offers mostly Italian, French, and some Spanish varietals (Albariño, Grenache Gris, Mourvèdre/Grenache Rosè, Sangiovese, Cab Franc, and Zinfandel) and in my opinion they're all well-made, elegant wines, some of the best in the region. Chuparosa is a "must visit" winery when in the Ramona wine country.

They have unique wines infused in whiskey barrels. I had their Chardonnay which had a slight taste of whiskey in it but I thought it was pretty good. I also tried their pepperoni and sausage flat bread which also was pretty tasty. We were greeted by "Whiskey" the cat and as we were told apparently he was a stray and greets everyone as they arrive which was cute. They have misters which helped a lot with the heat.

Called 20+ Vineyard and put my requirements and was chose Crystal hill as my choice, I am so glad I made that decision. Best wine, amazing scenery, very private, kid friendly, pet friendly most of all sweetest Staff you will ever find. This is the best winery of Ramona by far and exactly what we were looking for. The view is stunning and beautiful view, atmosphere is very relaxing. Wine choices we were excellent, Excellent wine, especially the whiskey barrel wines! Wine Choices: We initially ordered wine flights, double and singles an we choose the below bottles from there. 1. 2016 Stone Lake Merlot 2. 2016 Whiskey Stone Lake Merlot 3. 2019 Malbec Rose 4. 2017 Whiskey Rose They even have food; their flatbread is amazing too. The Staff and owners were very nice, as we were having good time Scott the owner took the kids, around 10 of them to a short hike and showed them around the property and vineyard, kids had good time while adults were drinking up. Meanwhile Kristy engaged the smaller kids. It was all fun and everyone had fun. Special kudos to the lovely bartenders. If you are looking for great wines, amazing views, comfortable atmosphere, great staff, kid friendly, pet friendly, this is the place. We are going back soon
