I'm a white lover generally , but these reds were SO good that we chose five of them along with the white. John, and his son Ben, are the most gracious hosts and love to discuss their wines with all visitors. They also offer a more private, shaded tasting area, which they call "The Island". In addition, we have a picnic table located in our experimental vineyard block, which you are welcome to use. Also note, they are a dog friendly property. They don't have food, but they did have complimentary crisps (potato chips) and you could purchase cheese. You're also welcome to bring your own food to complement your wine tasting experience. WINES: Quality made, Italian varietals in an "Old World" style. Typically, the tastings include varietals such as Vermentino, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Primitivo (Zinfandel), Montepulciano, Barbera, and Sagrantino, with many from the estate vineyards.
