    Wine on the patio
    Emily B.

What a lovely vineyard in Ramona! This is such a hidden gem that just opened its doors. The outside patio is so enjoyable, looking out onto the vineyard. You can bring your own snacks and enjoy the delicious wine. You can do a tasting, buy by the glass, or purchase bottles. The inside has great decor too. My fav wine was the rosé. Joaco served us and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this vineyard! Enjoy some delicious wine and some beautiful scenery! Cheers!

I visited with a group of about 15 people and we all felt the staff's warm hospitality, which really elevated the visit. The customer service here at Sky Valley Cellars was outstanding! The scenery was breathtaking and the wines were absolutely delicious! We were well-informed about the wine selection. Sky Valley is such a hidden gem in Ramona. If you are seeking a perfect blend of indulgence and natural beauty - you must visit!!! The live music and delicious charcuterie boards were also a hit! Can't wait to go back!

Just visited for the first time! Outstanding wines and the views are stunning! Joaco is a great host and we totally recommend packing a picnic and coming here! They also have a private room for small events and a big outdoor patio for larger gatherings

    Big fan of their reds!

If you're looking for good, quality reds, Sky Valley Cellars should be on your list of stops in the Ramona Valley. Awesome service with a relaxing ambiance and great views of Mount Woodson.

That said, the owner, Andy, was so gracious and welcoming that we genuinely want to see him succeed; it feels only right to spread the word. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We left with two bottles of wine--despite usually preferring reds, we couldn't pass up both the Albarino and the Sangiovese. One tip: double-check your route on Google Maps before heading over. Just a heads-up--it's not the dirt road!

There's a small, but comfortable area inside by a stone fireplace, as well as a nice deck in front offering the wonderful views of the vineyards and surrounding hills. They even have a cave, however it's not open to the public (at least as of our last visit). WINES: Andy (owner/winemaker) poured for us and provides good service and nice insight on his wines and vineyard. One tasting fee is waived with one bottle purchase, as Andy's motto is "We want to sell wines, not tastings". Chuparosa offers mostly Italian, French, and some Spanish varietals (Albariño, Grenache Gris, Mourvèdre/Grenache Rosè, Sangiovese, Cab Franc, and Zinfandel) and in my opinion they're all well-made, elegant wines, some of the best in the region. Chuparosa is a "must visit" winery when in the Ramona wine country.

They have unique wines infused in whiskey barrels. I had their Chardonnay which had a slight taste of whiskey in it but I thought it was pretty good. I also tried their pepperoni and sausage flat bread which also was pretty tasty. We were greeted by "Whiskey" the cat and as we were told apparently he was a stray and greets everyone as they arrive which was cute. They have misters which helped a lot with the heat.

Called 20+ Vineyard and put my requirements and was chose Crystal hill as my choice, I am so glad I made that decision. Best wine, amazing scenery, very private, kid friendly, pet friendly most of all sweetest Staff you will ever find. This is the best winery of Ramona by far and exactly what we were looking for. The view is stunning and beautiful view, atmosphere is very relaxing. Wine choices we were excellent, Excellent wine, especially the whiskey barrel wines! Wine Choices: We initially ordered wine flights, double and singles an we choose the below bottles from there. 1. 2016 Stone Lake Merlot 2. 2016 Whiskey Stone Lake Merlot 3. 2019 Malbec Rose 4. 2017 Whiskey Rose They even have food; their flatbread is amazing too. The Staff and owners were very nice, as we were having good time Scott the owner took the kids, around 10 of them to a short hike and showed them around the property and vineyard, kids had good time while adults were drinking up. Meanwhile Kristy engaged the smaller kids. It was all fun and everyone had fun. Special kudos to the lovely bartenders. If you are looking for great wines, amazing views, comfortable atmosphere, great staff, kid friendly, pet friendly, this is the place. We are going back soon
