If you're looking for the best brunch in the area, Hilltop Winery is in a league of its own. Outstanding food, warm and attentive service, and breathtaking views make every visit memorable. It's easily one of the standout dining destinations to emerge in the area over the past few months. Highly recommended--I can't wait to come back.

Had a great evening tasting wines and celebrating a birthday food was good - amazing burgers and music was a lovely touch

We really enjoyed the music, views and wines! A few people had friendly dogs - so I guess it's pet friendly- a few people even brought their kids - they seemed bored but they do have a kids menu

My husband and I came here for the first time to have a drink and lunch. We will definitely be coming back. My first thought when we parked was "beautiful view!" The winery has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has a view of the beautiful vineyard. My husband ordered the Mixed Wine Flight and I had a glass of the Muscat. All the wine we had was dry. We enjoyed them. We also ordered the Red Pepper Hummus Crudité and Cheese and Charcuterie Board. We loved the board. We also shared the Sadie Rose Ciabatta with Hill Top Dipping Oil. The dipping oil was my favorite part of the meal. It was so flavorful! The bread it came with is really good too.

    Wine flights.

Phenomenal ambience food was even better, the staff were all very conscientious and extremely helpful. We met the owner Dianna who took time to get to know us and made us feel like family. If you're in Valley Center don't pass by this charming place with remarkable views!

    Our purchase: 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon ($35) and a 2019 Pinot Gris ($40)

TIP: As of our visit in June, there's a $2 off your first tasting with Yelp check in. The staff was unaware of this offer, but they did end up applying a discount to make up for it. First time visiting, but HTW has been on our radar for quite a while. We've read a lot on Yelp about the wines and food, and approached it with an open mind. After visiting, I tend to agree with most other reviewers, the wines were okay, but the food was very good. There's a large indoor tasting room, as well as a large, covered patio. The vineyard and winery grounds are beautiful, offering picturesque views across the valley. A wonderful location to relax and enjoy their offerings. WINES: Chris poured for us and we shared both a white flight and red flight ($25 for each flight). There were 5 wines per flight and in general, we thought the wines were very light bodied. I would say that they would be great for people just getting into wine. We tend to like more full bodied reds and oaked whites. There was a very nice 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon ($35) that was not on the tasting menu, but Chris was able to get us a taste. We took a bottle of that and a 2019 Pinot Gris ($40) home with us. FOOD: They have a "food truck" onsite, which is really a permanent outside kitchen housed within a trailer. Not an extensive menu, but something for everyone. We started by sharing the Artichoke & Spinach Dip ($18.75) which was very good. Then we split a Fig Salad ($20.25) and the Bacon Brie Burger ($26.25), also very good. Overall, we had a pleasant afternoon, but we thought it was a little on the expensive side compared to other wineries in San Diego County. We probably wouldn't return just for the wine, but the food and service were very good. I always say, everyone's palates are different, so you should give them a try for yourself. The wines might not be our taste, but they may be yours.

There are simply not enough amazing things we could say about working with Bethany. Bethany had great communication and since the beginning she had quick responses to our questions which made planning our wedding very efficient. She has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and would ask us questions about things we didn't even consider. She was EXTREMELY accommodating - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who occasionally work Saturdays with changing schedules throughout the week - this never was an issue when it came to planning our wedding. The location is extremely beautiful from the daytime to sunset and even to night time with all the lights and chandeliers. There are honestly SO many locations to take beautiful photos in and this was a big factor as we wanted a variety of places for backdrop - there's a lavender field, a bridge overlooking a small pond area, and a place with a sing - this is not including the picturesque house covered in vines and the ceremony site. Additionally, all the decor in the photos below were included (even the furniture, florals, and table settings). We chose the package that included florals and Bethany (who is also a florist) went ABOVE and BEYOND with the floral arrangements and bouquets, literally making my Pinterest autumn wedding dreams come true. The day of the wedding went as smoothly as weddings can possibly go and despite it being the craziest day, it was also one of the best days of our lives. We really owe it all to Bethany and cannot rave enough about her and her team. We've heard from many of our friends who got married about something they didn't like about their wedding planning process, but honestly, working with Bethany was completely smooth, stress-free, and an efficient yet detailed process. If you are thinking about having a wedding at Willow Creek Ranch, I 1000% would recommend it. (All photos in this review are from our wonderful wedding photographer Carmelisse Photography!)

An abundance of appreciation goes out to Bethany and her team. This team was AMAZING, they bent over backwards (without being asked to) to ensure our daughter's wedding was as magical, beautiful, pleasant, warm and dry as possible due to a major storm forecasted. Miraculously, as the day went on, the rain pushed away and the sun peaked out. Therefore, the ceremony was held outside as planned, it was absolutely stunning! We did end up having to rent a tent for the reception, which Bethany coordinated for us. The inside of the tent was decorated beautifully, with lights and flower arrangements placed throughout, as well as, special corner curtains to cover up the tent poles. The team gave us an extra surprise by hanging a chandelier over the bride and grooms table, they thought of everything! I truly believe that because the tent being warmed by patio heaters, is why the majority of our guest stayed to the very end. This team even took preparations for where the caterer and cake cutting would be, they made everything fit in as though it was planned that way from the very start. All the elegant / beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements were hand made by Bethany, they were simply breathtaking! All of our guests stated throughout the night how beautiful the venue was. Some even stated they want their wedding to be exactly how our daughters was. It cannot go unmentioned how Bethany and Julie were so easy to work with! This team hit it out of the park! THANK YOU!
