This is a great family-friendly winery and also a great spot for groups without kids! The enormous estate grounds and surrounding views were beautiful. We visited midday on a Saturday and there were lots of people there, but it didn't feel crowded. There were many spaces to gather: the patio by the wine bar, a grassy area next to the bar, an air-conditioned room with a couple seating areas, and a massive front lawn with picnic tables and bounce houses. The setting was enhanced by the music from the guitarist. These grounds deserves 5+ stars! The kids in our group (ages 8-13) had fun going on the hayrides, exploring the estate, and playing on the bounce houses. Glad to see that one of the bounce houses was only for kids ages 4 and under. They also offer craft activities on Sundays. We adults enjoyed the music, ambience, and wine tasting, especially since the kids were occupied with activities. The winery served several types of wine and sangria. The adults in our group rated the wines 3 stars- not amazing but not bad either. They served burgers, sliders, hot dogs, bratwurst, and nachos with ground beef, all sourced from cattle raised on their ranch. The kids and adults gave the food 4 stars. Overall, Rancho Guejito Vineyards is a fantastic place to visit! We will definitely be coming back and we'll be bringing more family friends with us.

I finally had the opportunity to visit this North County gem. I have been following this winery for a while and had a chance to come with a handful of girlfriends. We had a reserved table for our group of 5 girls and it was perfect since it was not too close to the music speakers or too close to other parties. Note that this is all outdoor and no indoor seating. There are a lot of picnic tables scattered with tents but try to call for a reservation if you can. Otherwise you can bring your own chairs and blankets. This place is so chill and love that it is kid friendly. There is a tractor ride you are able to bring your glass and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Lots of property and the event spacing is gorgeous. They will continue building in the next few years with a hotel and onsite restaurant which I'm exciting to see flourish. You are allowed to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks onsite and enjoy your time in a relaxed setting. There was a cool live band playing old rock hits. There is also a small tent out back where you can buy food and charcuterie boxes. The beef they sell to eat is from their ranch and they also sell beef onsite if interested. The prices are reasonable to buy onsite too! On a Sunday, there was a jumpy with a water slide so there were kids enjoying this while the parents drank. I would recommend bringing your own personal fans if it's hot because it does get super hot in the summer being outdoors. I would like to give a shout out to Hank, Brandon, and Brenda who were amazing during our visit with their personal touches and made our visit such a memorable experience. The sparking rose was my fave and had to take a bottle home. I also got a bottle of the Pinot for my husband. So good. I didn't get a chance to try the frose since it was still making at the time I asked and I totally forgot about it. Bathrooms are located in a trailer out back but they're the nice trailer bathrooms! Parking lot out front and a huge parking lot in back, so they are able to accommodate lots of guests. I recommend checking out this wonderful winery if you haven't. Will be coming back soon!!!

This place is just spectacular, and it's a memory that will last a lifetime. It's beautiful, and on the day we visited, there were so many activities for the kids--they were absolutely thrilled. The most memorable part was the wagon tour with the funniest tour guide, who was singing songs, pouring wine, and keeping everyone's spirits high. A wonderful place and an amazing day with the family!

Came here today for a girls Christmas get together. It was small, quiet and the view is beautiful. I enjoyed my 2 glasses of wine and the hayride. It closed early due to an event but still had a good time. Their wine was great. Brandon helped me pick out a wine.

Rancho Guejito Winery is stunning, gorgeous views, great wine, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to spend the afternoon there. The wine selection is pretty solid (I especially enjoyed the 2021 Pinot Noir and 2017 Merlot), and the live music and food trucks add a nice touch to the overall experience. That said, I do have one gripe: the seating situation. There just isn't enough of it. We arrived early but still had trouble finding a place to sit. A lot of people seemed to grab tables and hold onto them for hours, even when they weren't using them, which made it hard for new arrivals to settle in. There's seating around the property, but bringing your own blanket or lawn chairs is highly suggested. Families and dogs are more than welcome here too, which is nice, but also makes it very crowded and busy. Not all dogs or children belong in public, sorry, I said what you've thought. Add adults too! Also, outside food is welcome. A lot of great things, but also not entirely perfect. Still, it's a lovely place and worth a visit. Just come early and maybe bring your own chairs. Also, they offer complimentary hayride tours. We didn't prioritize this, so we'll be sure to do so if we ever return.

I highly recommend the Rancho Guejito Vineyward for special events. The vineyard grounds were beautiful and the staff did an excellent job with the event. Tip: If you attend a formal event at the vineyard, I recommend flats or thick heels for walking in the gravel.

I always enjoy coming to RGV. It's a great spot to visit if you're ever in town. A great place to visit with the family and kid-friendly as well. Do yourself a favor and get the wine tasting and hop on the hay ride and enjoy some music with Andrew on the ride. Bring that glass with you as the hay ride has more wine for you to taste. Service from the staff is great. Very welcoming and great with providing recommendations. They do have food available for purchase, but you are also welcome to bring your own food/snacks and drinks for your family.

A beautiful hidden gem tucked in South Escondido. Drink service is quick and the food is reasonably priced. Tons of parking and lots of tables to sit back and relax. Today there was live music and tons of sun. Such a great spot to enjoy a Sunday. I'll be back soon. Cheers!

So happy we came here again, we introduced it to our friends and they're all in love with it. Our toddlers had an amazing time at the bounce house and water slide. As usual food was good, service was good and the ambiance was perfect. Andrew killed it at the ride he's the best.

This dog had way too much to drink. (Just a joke... it's tongue is out due to its breed - no hate mail please)

Beautiful winery! I loved all the vendor booths and the activities for the kids. It can get decently crowded but all in all a fun place.

The ambiance is beautiful, the property is gorgeous, and we really appreciate all the free events they offer. The food truck is always a solid choice with pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and even gluten-free options. If you're just looking for a snack, they also have items available inside. The wine selection is excellent, and one of our favorite things is that it's dog-friendly, so our pups can join us. My only suggestion would be to improve the wine line. It can take 10-15 minutes to get a refill, especially during trivia, which sometimes means missing the next question. It would be awesome if there were a separate line for guests who just want to order a glass of wine instead of doing a tasting. Overall, Orfila is a beautiful winery with a fun, welcoming atmosphere, great wine, and events that keep us coming back week after week. Highly recommend!

Before lunch, the owner, Frank, welcomed our group into the wine cellar for an impromptu tasting and shared the story of how the winery came to be. It added such a personal touch and made the experience feel far more memorable than a typical restaurant visit. The setting is absolutely stunning. Perched high above the valley, the property offers sweeping views of rolling hills, vineyards, and distant mountains that seem to stretch on forever. The vine-covered terrace provides just enough shade to linger over a glass of wine while taking in the scenery. On a clear day, it feels like you've stumbled onto a little slice of Tuscany hidden in San Diego County. The food was equally enjoyable. We shared a variety of thin-crust pizzas, burrata salad, and charcuterie boards, all of which disappeared quickly. And then came the cannoli, the perfect sweet ending to an already wonderful meal. Between the breathtaking views, warm hospitality, excellent service, delicious food, and outstanding wine, this was an experience rather than just a lunch. I left already looking forward to coming back for wine and dinner.
