Such a unique, phenomenal business in Ramona. The owner Pete took over Ramona's oldest building and made it into what it is now. They have a fascinating history that you can ask him about or just peek at the mural on the wall outside which shows what the original building was. Peter could've ripped it down but he restored it keeping an invaluable piece of Ramona history. There is a back patio and tons of events including live music every Monday, for home competitions on Wednesdays, trivia nights on Thursdays and then just regular fun on the weekends. You can also bring in any food with you which is so awesome!! They sometimes have food trucks as well. I really can't say enough about this ramona gem. Awesome establishment! Bartenders were nice, plenty of room and the bathrooms were super clean. They hooked me with with a free NA beer for being the DD. Not too many places do that! No food but they had an outside food truck that let you bring food inside. Will definitely be coming here again when catching shows at the main stage! read more

Love the fact that they serve so many local beers and wines, plus the very yummy Turquoise Barn cider. I love the vibe - the upscale rustic decor - and the ability to spread out throughout the inside and outside space. There's jenga just outside the back door, don't miss it! Our most recent visit was during this year's Taste of Ramona. Allie Campbell (aka the Grape Stomp Princess) gave us a friendly greeting outside and then we made our way through tastings of beer (the Cali Creamin' / Belching Beaver PB Stout combo we chose was great), wine (Vineyard Grant James) and Turquoise Barn Cider. It is the oldest structure in Old Town with its original construction dating back to 1883. It previously served as a waypoint for gold miners traveling from San Diego to Julian. Such a comfortable and relaxing place with a perfect selection of local Ramona wines coupled with SoCal craft beers. I had an excellent hard cider from Turqouise Barn Cider, then an outstanding peanut butter stout. Everyone working there was genuine, knowledgable and sweet. Pretty cool little western style bar in a small town. They only serve beer and wine but they have wine slushees which I have yet to try. Out back is a big patio with lots of seating, string lights, corn hole and a huge ass American flag to take pictures in front of. When I met Peter the owner last year and he told me what he was doing in Old Town of Ramona, I thought what a great thing for this side of the town, and of course since my coffee shop (Packards Coffee Shop) is a block away. My wife and I finally took the time to go and we are really happy to have found a fun, casual, and social place in Ramona. Within minutes we saw familiar faces and we chose some beers from a good selection of drafts. While the bar area is small, the rear covered patio is huge with string lights overhead, cornhole, giant Jenga, and live music. It's not just a fun place to hang out, but it is a perfect venue for a party. Most places in Ramona cater to an older crowd, but Reds, Whites and Brews appeals to people of any age. Went into an antique store and noticed there was a tasting room attached to it. Really neat historical building that the owner has been fixing up. Spent some time talking with Paul, the owner, who has been doing all the work himself. Said he hasn't had his grand opening yet, but is always pleased to show new customers the place. Went in to browse antiques and left with a Tiffany style lamp and a belly of good local wine. Paul is awesome. He'll stop everything and give you the grand tour and a history lesson. read more
