We came to this place on the Saturday after my official birthday which was good because my palette was fresh and ready to try new wine. They have been open since 2010 and they The property itself is gorgeous, but the coolest part is definitely the main tasting room. They have this massive glass floor where you can look straight down into the barrel cellar. It's such a unique vibe and makes for amazing photos. And on this day you can even see the set up for a wedding they were having later on that day. We did the premier tasting flight out on the patio by the water and the wine was fantastic. We also ordered some food from the bistro-the strawberry salad with chicken and Parmesan truffle fries-which had great portions we really didn't even need the fries. The salad with the goat cheese went perfectly with the wine we were drinking. A huge shoutout to Matt, the Operations Manager, who took such great care of us. The entire staff was super welcoming and really made my birthday feel extra special. Highly recommend stopping by whether you're doing a couples trip or a girls' weekend! I can't wait to come back!

Their reds are smooth and clean, bold but not overpowering. I especially liked their blend and Petite Syrah. All were very good. This small little gem is made for quiet and relaxation. Their tasting room is quite small and tastefully furnished. The sliding doors open up into a large patio and pool area. We were served by Manu. Tasting here reminded me of the old days in Temecula when sommelier's spent time explaining their wines and getting to know you. All wine production takes place on the property. Grapes are organically grown. Manu explained that the owner/wine maker, Chad, takes extra care during the wine making process to create their wines. And it shows in the quality of wine that we were served. You will not be fighting crowds and party busses here. You will pay more than the wineries on the main path. Our six tastings of white and reds to choose from was $55pp. It's definitely worth a try.

We've visited many times over the years, as this is one of our favorite wineries (and we used to be members). Howard and Roxy are always providing wonderful service and insightful information regarding GB's wines and food pairings. Typically, the tastings include varietals grown at the estate, such as Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Roussanne, with other varietals sourced from Temecula vineyards. They also offer three (3) wonderful dessert wines made from Primitivo grapes (standard, vanilla, and mocha flavors). These are a little lighter than most Port or Port-style and Late Harvest dessert wines. Each tasting comes with a small package of baked bread sticks or gourmet chips for wine clique members, and recently they've offered pre-made charcuterie trays. I always preface my winery reviews by saying that wine tasting is subjective to the individual's palate, service is not. The wines I like/dislike, you may hate/love. I always suggest that you try and decide for yourself. There's a large indoor tasting room, as well as a large, covered patio offering great views of the surrounding vineyards, hills, and neighboring wineries. They also have a separate area away from the tasting facility that hosts weddings and other events. I can't recommend Gershon Bachus highly enough for fantastic wines and great service.

We had 2, non-adjoining, Queen rooms, and there were USB ports in the headboard of my bed! That's a first for me. The inn has WiFi, an ice machine, and two vending machines on the bottom floor. The breakfast is made to order in their restaurant, and I got the florentine benedict. The yolk was delightfully runny, and the staff offered me some homemade salsa, which I happily accepted as someone who loves spicy food. It was delicious and extra spicy!
