Let me give a major shot out to our waiter Rene Mathias (please forgive me if I spelled it wrong) we were fully taken cared of. Honey we were the vibe so that set the tone. We waited for nothing treated like Queens. Let's talk about the food. We had chips and salsa, pass. Ceviche Nikki i think with ahi tuna 10/10 flavors were amazing. Bread and chimi soft bread sooooo good. Buffalo wings standard. Paella ummm depends on your taste buds i wouldn't order again. Ribeye steak medium amazing flavor skirt steak amazing flavor but mashed potatoes DEATH ROW!! We made a little fuss and was accommodated. Met up with friends for a happy hour birthday celebration today. Our server was Bang and he was amazing. Everyone ate empanadas, while I chowed down on the skirt steak Caesar salad. Really was excited to try this place out for the first time. I had seen so many awesome videos on instagram that i definitely thought it would be worth the hype, but i definitely was not impressed. Actually I was a little bummed. The service was super slow, the drinks were on the smaller side and very overpriced and the food was not the best and arrived to the table cold. Server was absent most of the meal he forgot the rice to my lomo saltado which sucked because by the time I was able to bring it to his attention I was half way done with my meal. Ambiance: Real beach life atmosphere, especially since the restaurant is steps away from the beach! Service: Our server was a bit slow, and his listening skills needed improvement. However, after several times, he was able to get our order correct. This is such a cool place. Very clean. Felt super safe. Staff was super amazing. From entry to leaving, they provided excellent service. The drinks were good. The food was good. Tried this new spot that my sister wanted to go since it's placed on the beachfront and I still have mixed feelings about it. When we arrived, there wasn't a wait yet so we were seated fast. Once we sat down we were approached to take our orders, after we informed our server it was our first time, we asked for additional time. Within 5 mins he was back, we felt rushed to order. I ordered the steak frites and a cocktail. The cocktails were strong but not delicious enough to return and I didn't like the steak as it had no flavor and was just a bad cut of meat given the largest portion was fat and no meat. Our server didn't check in on us nor refilled our water or even asked if we wanted to order more drinks. Once we waited over 30 mins of trying to get their attention, we didn't order more, we just paid and left. If you're looking for aesthetically pleasing place to sip a cocktail and chill, this may be your place. But if you're looking for good eats and vibes...not too sure. I'll give Gaucho beach restaurant and bar a 1 start only because our waitress was super nice and understanding thanks and the location is very beautiful right by the beach, but other than that, the michis taste like Bloody Mary's the fish and chips, are really horrible the fish smells super fishy, the batter from the inside is undercooked and it's more batter then fish! See photos for reference. The only thing on the menu I would recommend are the mussels, even though half of them were shells. The wine sauce was delicious, used it to season everything else. The view at Gaucho Beach Restaurant is absolutely beautiful, which is the main reason this isn't a one-star review. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. Our group of five (not a large party) ordered food and two drinks using the QR/barcode system. Despite ordering digitally, the drinks didn't arrive until about 40 minutes later, which is unacceptable given how small our order was. When we asked about the delay, the waiter/bartender was noticeably rude and dismissive. The staff overall seemed unorganized and scattered, with servers appearing overwhelmed and unsure of responsibilities. The lack of coordination really took away from what could have been a great dining experience, especially in such a prime beachfront location. This place has a lot of potential because of the atmosphere and views, but the service needs serious improvement. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. read more

Overpriced, and unfortunately the service didn't make up for it. I understand you're paying for the ambiance and the space, but when cocktails are around $18-$22 each, I expect the overall experience to match. We ordered ceviche and cocktails and weren't even given napkins or side plates. Our server recommended another ceviche, so we figured okay, why not? We were originally going to get the shrimp but went with her recommendation instead, and unfortunately it wasn't good. It honestly tasted like beet juice. The tamarindo cocktail was also very meh and tasted surprisingly cheap for the price. I would've appreciated our server checking back in after bringing the drinks or asking how everything was, especially since we barely touched some of it. Instead, I had to ask for napkins and side plates myself. What made the service even more frustrating was that it wasn't busy. At one point, even the people around us seemed to be looking around trying to find a server, so it definitely wasn't just us. We ended up leaving shortly after because there really wasn't much keeping us there. The ambiance is beautiful, but when the quality of the food, drinks, and service doesn't match the price point, it kind of defeats the purpose of paying a premium for the experience. read more

Really enjoyed this daytime lunch! We sat at the bar which had a great view of the beach without having to be in the sun. Ordered the chorizo meatballs and they were delicious! The outside of the meatball was crispy and the inside was soft and chewy. It had a little bit of a spicy edge but it wasn't overwhelming. I think anyone can handle the level of spice on these meatballs. Since it was our happy hour, we ordered the carafe of sangria made of their red wine. It was sweet and ended with a mild wine taste; absolutely perfect! We got about five glasses out of it. The only thing that was a downfall was the customer service. It took a very lengthy time for a server to check in with us and it was a little challenging to get their attention. Which was a bummer, because we were sitting at the bar. This place is great, with a few areas that I feel could use improvement. Came here for brunch on a Saturday around 11:30am - noon. We were able to get seating on the 2nd floor, overlooking the beach. The latin music and shift to house disco music was a vibe. The couch seating and tables were not the most comfortable. It had no type of support, you practically fell into the seat and you are sitting so low, that the table comes up to your chest/neck. But whatever, after a few drinks, it didn't matter. Will have to add also that their silverware and glasses aren't thoroughly cleaned. I had to send my champagne glass back as it had lipstick residue on the rim and my spoon had food stuck from last person. However food was delicious and staff was friendly. We ordered a bottle of champagne, a carafe of sangria, along with a few mixed drinks. We had their burger, sandwich, steak, chilaquiles, taquitos - all wonderfully executed. We also ordered the flan for dessert. Customer service I felt maybe could have improved. When we were leaving, we noticed the cute Happy Bday acrylic sign with a flan that was being sent over to a table. Although it was shared to our server we were there celebrating my mom's birthday, it was sad that the server didn't take it upon themselves to also provide the same detail and attention that the other table got to my mom. Our bartender was busy but really cool, we liked him and appreciated his hard work. We waited about 30min for drinks. White girl at the bar is rude af and will rather put on her shades than check on customers who need to be attended. She has a dirty flask on her bar full of hair. Crazy how I pushed a dirty tray out of the way and she rudely pushed it right back. She was also yelling at the servers, they were asking why she was taking so long on tickets. She got a cosmo returned cuz she didn't make it right. There was a very nice gentleman who wasn't even in the bar who came to check on us at the end and honestly came to save the bar.
