Before doing some wine tasting we shared a few plates for lunch. Although busy and without reservations we were seated at a table in the shade that had a decent view. Took some time before our server got our order. The shrimp was tasty but portions were small. Calamari was sparse as it was more the veggies than protein. Food could be better. Early dinner on Sunday at Gaspars was a great idea. We didn't have any reservations but were seated within fifteen minutes. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. Emily our waitress was attentive and nice. The ambiance here is wonderful. Beautiful views all around. The food was delicious. I absolutely loved the spicy chicken sandwich on foccaia. So so good. The Brussels sprouts were amazing so was the Caesar. My son loved the salmon burger and my nephews pasta was delicious. We all had a spoon lol. Overall great food and ambiance here. Must try. We will be back.

We made reservations for 3 @ 11:30am which was perfect timing on Saturday before it got crowded. We sat outside in the patio. We shared the empanadas which were delicious - 6 came in the order. Then an order of truffle fries which I believe we're the best I've had. Our server JT was very attentive and patient with us as we orders our drinks. 2 of us ordered the Strawberry Squeeze and absolutely loved it - it was so refreshing. For my meal I had the Mediterranean salad with chicken which was pretty goodz, nothing to rave about. The other 2 had the Steak frittes with side salads. and they raved about it. Since we were celebrating 2 birthdays, JT brought out comp churros which were pretty good as well. There was enough time to eat and enjoy ourselves before the next reservation at 2:30pm. Overall a nice experience. Thank you!

Good here is awesome! They don't have a huge menu but what I had Spicy Chicken sandwich was delicious! Generous portions and good flavor. Great staff and good drinks. The restaurant gets busy, I'd recommend making a reservation for best seating. Lots of great outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather and winery.

Tucked inside Altissima winery along the Portola wine trail, this is another good solid choice for a nice relaxing dining experience around Temecula area. Great food, drink and efficient yet friendly service, even for non-member. Short rib is super tender and delicious, comes with equally wonderful potato gratin as the perfect companion. The sea bass risotto is also a tasty creamy dish which is heartwarming on a chilly day in the wine country.

Came at 11:11 on a Tuesday, place was not busy when we came. Ordered sangrias and then our food. Service was crazy slow today. I've eaten here before and food service was better before. Once we got our food mine was totally cold including the fries. Ordered the chicken sandwich. Sent it back . Took just as long to get the new order. Was really disappointed with the taste of the sandwich as well. I ordered the truffle fries but my friend ordered regular, the regular fries are better

One of my favorite winery restaurants! Definitely make reservations since this winery is always busy and the food is made well with some more upscale options. The have ceviche which was done pretty well and the pastas here are delicious too! Hard to beat with a great wine selection too. The service can a bit delayed since it is busy most of the time but still very enjoyable! Great atmosphere with the vineyard outside too!

My folks are members at Altisima, and they kindly made lunch reservations for us on Sunday at 2pm. I'd gotten us tickets to see the 4pm showing of Cirque Ma'Ceo at Galway Downs, and since Gaspar's is only only a few miles from that venue, it was the perfect setting for a pre-show meal. The one indoor table that they offered us was practically in the entrance, and right next to several large parties that were celebrating loudly. My parents wouldn't have been able to hear & converse comfortably in that location, and so we waited for a table on the outside covered patio. A table on the patio opened up about 10 minutes later, and Liz, a very bubbly and helpful server, was bringing our drinks over just minutes after we ordered them. I really appreciated when she was super patient when listening to my dad's many questions about the menu. She took our order, and about ten minutes later, our entrees were presented to us. My dad's grilled cheese with crispy truffle steak fries was hearty and delicious. Usually, steak fries are not my favorite, but these were perfectly cooked and the truffle seasoning was on point. Mom's Burrata salad was fresh and the figs and burrata complemented the greens. It was lightly dressed and an ample portion. My Sea Bass was throughly cooked, but was unseasoned and somewhat bland. The saffron risotto was lukewarm and a bit clumpy. It did not have the smooth consistency of other risotto I've tried. I'm not sure if it was arborio rice either which is the optimal rice for a risotto dish. For a pricey entree, I would've liked the flavors to really pop. The Sauv Blanc and Peach Mint Sangria went with our meals nicely. Verdict: The setting on the patio was quite busy, even later in the afternoon on a Sunday. The view from the patio of the mountains to the East is really quite lovely, and the restaurant and winery are modern and welcoming. There is plenty of parking on the property, and it is definitely worth a visit! (When I return, I would not get the Sea Bass again though, I'd probably get the grilled cheese with truffle fries! :) )

We recently joined the wine club here, so we decoded to come try the restaurant on our second visit. The service and views were all great! We shared the spicy chicken sandwich, which was a generous size. We got truffle fries as our side which were very tasty. For drinks, the Peach Mint sangria was delicious!! I also tried the Ginger Sangria which reminded me a lot of a classic mule. If you come on the weekend, I recommend a reservation as it got pretty busy.

Gaspar's Restaurant / Altisima Winery is consistently a fantastic experience. The serving staff is exceptional - JT, Mike M, and Angeline are all wonderful (honestly not a bad one in the bunch). The outdoor patio is beautiful, with stunning rolling hill views and endless blue skies that make you want to linger for hours. Food is excellent across the board - the Spanish grilled cheese and truffle fries are perfect if you're feeling indulgent, while the braised beef with garlic mashed potatoes is incredibly satisfying. Pro tip: stop by the tasting room before eating. Jay and Ty, longtime wine servers at Altisima, make the experience especially fun and welcoming.

Our bed and breakfast hotel recommended Altísima for their frozen margaritas, so we decided to check it out. I am so glad we did. It is a gorgeous winery with panoramic views. We went on a Friday afternoon and started with a tasting. Afterward, we decided to grab a table for lunch before heading to another winery. Dalton sat us and was super friendly. He answered all my questions about the atmosphere and frozen margaritas. Our server, Ally, was sweet and attentive. We ordered the Altísima burger with truffle fries (I devoured it before I thought about taking a picture). It was so good, I was craving it the next day! For dessert, we ordered the sticky toffee cake, which was good as well. We had to try their frozen margaritas as it came highly recommended, and honestly, they were the highlight. It was refreshing and something different from our traditional wines we ordered. After lunch, we lounged in the chairs outside, soaking up the sun, the views, and the live music. Gaspar's ended up being our favorite restaurant of the trip, and Altísima was our favorite winery. We will definitely be back!

Had the ALTISIMA BURGER at Gaspar's (inside Altísima Winery) and it did not disappoint. Juicy short rib & chuck blend, Havarti, caramelized onions, fried egg, jalapeños, and their signature sauce on a toasted brioche bun -- every bite was packed with flavor. Paired it with their Sangiovese and it was a perfect match. Who says you can't have red wine with a burger? The atmosphere is modern, relaxed, and surrounded by vineyard views. Great service, too. A must-visit if you're in Temecula.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday and we had a great time! Food was good, service was great and the views were amazing. It does get packed which is expected on a weekend. Our server Xavier was so attentive and friendly and one other staff, I believe his name's Noah, was also very helpful.

Upon arrival, the property checked one of my requirement boxes: paved parking. I cannot tolerate parking in dirt that removes the shine on my tires and rims. After some confusion, I finally arrived at the correct tasting room for non-members and began my tasting with assistance from Eric, a fine young gentleman who offered to guide me through my journey. He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same. The property is very large, and well-maintained, and also hosts a distillery, somewhat hidden in the form of a speakeasy of sorts. Didn't partake, but intend to return in the future to sample. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will give some thought to joining their membership. Great views atop the hill, and a mellow vibe. Thank you Eric! Great customer service.

They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours.
