The plain exterior hides an elegant little pastry shop! After driving by a million times, I was really surprised to see how nice it was inside. You will find such a variety of flavors and pastries here! I go when I want to give the family a treat... we load up on breakfast pastries. It's a lot more expensive than a regular donut place, but it's well worth it. Both the sweet and savory pastries are great here. I've never had anything I didn't think was delicious! I'm looking forward to trying to the sandwiches. Just writing this review is making me want to visit again today... read more

Non discript from the front. Inside it has huge split Doug fit tables and a large variety of interesting pastries and lunch items. We found some items better than others. The cinninum rolls are the best. Nice atmosphere for a fairly quiet cup of coffee. read more

Fuji Bakery - Counter - Bakeries Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Good luck getting a katsu sando because they're gone before lunch! Get there early because it's worth it. I've liked everything I've tried at this bakery, you can randomly select a pastry and it will be good! The cream puff, canele, and malasada are my favorite pastries. read more

My review is for the King Street location. Tasty malasadas and usually great service but the girl working at the window at around 9:45 morning was very rude. Her response to me asking they're still taking pre-orders for Christmas Eve was "pre-orders should've been done like yesterday. But I guess you can go online and check to see we're still are taking online orders" in a very rude tone and then scoffed. It's as if she did not want to be at work today. read more

This place is amazing! The staff was so nice and everything we got was awesome. Theres a great selection of savory sweet, simple and quirky. Absolutely love this spot! read more

They're pastries were AMAZING. We got there around noon & a good amount of the pastries were already gone though so show up early! Our favorite was the crunchy cream :) read more

This place is f'ing top notch. If you don't like it you're probably a pretentious d-bag so if you're reading this and you didn't like it than that's you kind sir or madam! I stopped here this morning to grab a bunch of treats for myself and coworkers to make the friday morning a bit brighter. Asked for a random selection of 12 and they didn't disappoint. I got a mix of sweet and savory and both were incredible. The custard filled one with corn flakes on the outside is unreal. They also have a little cube shaped one with salmon inside that I had that was equally out of this world - juicy and delicious salmon. Doubtful you can go wrong with whatever you get. read more

I love this bakery. They have matcha pastries! As a long-time matcha fan, I like to get foods that have matcha in them, even better if it's dessert! I love their selection of savory and sweet items. read more

Visited on Monday, May 30th 2022 around 1pm. I heard of this place on social media and it was given great reviews. I visited Seattle from California and was excited to try this bakery. As soon as I entered with my in-laws there was no greeting just disgruntled employees and energy as if you interrupted something. I understand a long work day and being tired, but as someone who has worked in customer service even a smile is nice. We were rushed while picking pastries and the young Asian woman who was helping us yelled at us about what we ordered. We must have irritated her so bad, while yelling she turned red. Mind you, we were the only people in the bakery. We were all fascinated by all the pastries and wanted to get one of everything for everyone to try. We simply just ordered, asked one another if that was okay to share. She yelled at us over ordering two sandwiches which we said yes and then she confused which ones, when we corrected her she yelled again with an attitude. As soon as we were redirected to get checked out a couple walked in and I heard no rushing or yelling. We left without the sandwich she yelled at us over and no receipt. We didn't even want to go back in to get the sandwich she had forgotten, her attitude was just rotten. While the pastries were delicious, the customer service was horrid. Next time I visit Seattle I will definitely avoid this location. read more

Came here every morning while on vacation in Seattle. BEST pastries. Favorites were the pear pastry, Ham and cheese croissant, and crunchy cream donut. Loved the variety offered and everything was AMAZING. read more

We saw the reviews for this place and were very excited. We chose to go with sweet vs. the savory options...and I wish I had gone the other way. Their banana Nutella croissant was really dense and the sugar doughnuts almost had a slight, bitter after taste. The butter croissants was good but it's hard to mess that up. If I were to go back, I'd try the bacon cheese croissant or one of their focaccia breads. read more

One word: yum. Pretty much everything I have had from here was delicious. The salmon brioche was fantastic and don't even get me started on the curry buns. Heaven on earth! The strawberry and cream croissant is also amazing. Just be sure to get here early if you want your choice of delicious little goodies. read more

Fuji Bakery is one of my favorites in town (see my review of the one in the ID). Finally got around to checking out the spanking new location on Elliott. My black bean bun had a soft and tasty bread which was good, but it was a teeny bit dry on the inside. Friend had a pineapple and cream cheese (?) pastry, which was very good. Not sweet, which is how I prefer my baked goods for the most part. Self-serve coffee was just right: nutty not bitter with the right amount of coffee to water (not "dense" like many of the better known cafes here). Nice to have whole milk to go with, rather than cream. Only downside was no wifi, the automatic sliding door was weird for such a small place and there wasn't a ton of seating, so overall, not the best for business meetings. A last yet much appreciated bonus was the free parking right outside; only about a dozen spots though. But I'll be going back soon to try the other baked goodies or to bring some to a friend. read more

Outlet store of the ID bakery. i believe they bake the goods here for their retail branch. Small with only one picnic table inside. Mostly for takeaway. $1.50 coffee (stumptown). very good value and delicious read more

See all

This location definitely has a lesser selection of delicacies and closes earlier than the ID location. Parking is easier though. Still, half the time they don't carry what I've come to get at this location lol. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read more

Very good spot. Not easy to park at necessarily. We get a few things to go each time we stop in. Go early or else they're out of the popular items. read more

This little gem of a bakery is amazingggg. If you were to get a slice of banana bread at Ladros or Starbucks even, it'd cost about $3 - with $3 here you can get some amazing, delicate French pastries, some with an Asian twist! Salmon brioche, popeye's, their beef curry pastry (imagine scrumptious delicious beef curry wrapped in a donut-like dough that's crispy on the outside) - all for around $3-4 each! read more

Really good Asian fusion? Bakery...was a pleasant surprise! I really liked the cheese Danish! The cream custard puff was good too.

I have been meaning to stop at this Fuji bakery- since it opened and I read good reviews from Seattle magazine- A non descipt exterior, clean new interiors- Ended up having the pear salad due to diet restrictions but it was excellent with the ginger vinegarette A bonus --head chef was available to go through ALL the tasty treats- They even made hotdogs look gourmet- I will be back with my family to indulge!! read more

I wanted to eat more of everything I tried. The coffee and matcha latte especially were quite good as well. Cafe type atmosphere.

An amazing bakery that has the quality of ingredients that reminds me of Japan. The tomago and chicken katsu sandos will change your world.

You can taste the awesomeness. It's the pastry from heaven. I heard they used premium materials and required longer time to make. I certainly will come back again when I am in the area. read more

One of my favorite pastry shops in Seattle. Small parking lot or street parking lot at non-rush hour times. Service is always great. My favorites are the crunchy donuts and fruit pastries. The pastry selection is a great and rotates for variety. On par Bakery Nouveau, maybe even better IMHO. read more

Tasty food and great value for money. Customer service could be a bit better. Parking is a pain in their lot (very tight spaces). This is a great find for a bakery. read more

Fuji is better than ever and I couldn't be more grateful. I wept over a croissant yesterday, it was that beautiful.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. They now have a lot of macaroon cookies. Everything in the bakery is excellent. Today I ate a cheese brioche, a croissant, a chocolate croissant, two donuts, and a pink macaroon. I brought home more macaroons for later. And I wanted more but most of their pastries were gone because it was 2:30 and they close at 3:00. Go early and go often. read more

This place is great! The pastry is beautiful and delicious. Very impressed and hope to come back...would give 4.5 if I could. I had the almond croissant, the baked twice variety. Very good but I prefer the almond paste to be baked inside the pastry. The cakes look beautiful and I know I would feel very special having one for a birthday or special occasion. The staff talked up the lunch options so I will have to return! read more

Delicious! They do not feel heavy at all. The price is reasonable so you can try multiple items if you like. We went as a group of 5 and tried multiple items and everything was great! read more

Rumor has it that the original baker is back and the goods are even better now. The selection seems to be larger and more abundant then the ID location. It's also easier to find parking here as there is a small parking lot beside the shop and ample street parking. We arrived early and the cases were full of all the treats. This is a Japanese bakery so there is a definite Japanese aesthetic applied to the baked goods. I was absolutely smitten with the crunch cream filled doughnut. It wasn't too sweet but had great contrast in textures. The selection is so large, you will have to make multiple visits to try everything. My friends, that is not a problem. They also do bread, cakes and macarons! Seattle has quite a few delicious bakeries but none of them match Fuji Bakery in the Japanese bakery department. read more

Unbelievable good. French bakery meets Japanese perfection. I had the ham and cheese croissant , unlike anything I've ever eaten, and a crunchy creamy donut with a delicious not too sweet cream. They're rolled in corn flakes and sugar! UNREAL. read more

Okay... So the long awaited Fuji Bakery has finally opened up for business. It's been long overdue. Based on the other two locations (Bellevue and International District), I expected something similar - a small den of zen. Unfortunately, from the outside, this place looks more like a factory than a bakery w/ some parking spots next to it. Even the automatic sliding door doesn't make it less factory-ish. Now onto the goodies. They have a decent selection of baked goods (pastries, breads, buns, etc.). I maybe wrong, but it seemed to me that they had more sweet pastries and overall less selection compared to the other two locations. I usually go for the spicy curry beef bun, but I couldn't find it there, so I opt for the regular curry beef bun and I had the orange pastry to go along with it. I also got my usual raisin bread (They didn't have the sliced one, bummer). Taste wise, everything was good - just like how I expect them to be, Fuji Bakery good. Due to the shortcomings I listed above, I was tempted to give this place a 3-star review. Perhaps I didn't come at the right time or maybe they're still trying to sort things out, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. In short, this Fuji Bakery is decent but I'll recommend the other two places to get your fix. read more

Such delicious treats!! This bakery really nails the balance off sweetness in their desserts. Then they have some delicious savory foods too like veggie flatbread and onion rolls. Kind of slow service, but the food makes up for it. read more

A hidden gem in Interbay. This place has a small but delicious lunch menu of sandwiches or curry and has an assortment of breads, pastries, and desserts at a reasonable price. Love coming here. read more

Bad pastries (e.g, under-cooked quiche and over-cooked croissant). Unfriendly service. Won't return.

This place is soooo good!! A little pricier, but definitely worth the treat! I got the matcha chocolate bread and the milk bread, both delicious. Minus one star for the smart mouth lady over the counter giving me attitude lol read more

If I could give this place a million stars, I would. Easily my favorite bakery in Seattle, with something new to try every single time I go.

they serve great pastries and appreciate the savory offerings with japanese/asian tastes in mind. Can't wait to try a full cake on a birthday. read more

Cute place with a lot of good options japanese/french pastries. Coffee was good too. Ill go back again.

They have awesome milksticks! Super yummy! First taste and I'm hooked on it! Been craving these for months....heading there to get my fix!

Two words, CRUNCH BALL. This delicious, delicate and tender lemony filled melt in your mouth rolled in sugar with just a little crunch has me feigning. It is reminiscent of the malasadas in Hawaii. Treat yourself and make a stop, you won't regret it. read more
