The chicken was pretty crispy but I could only eat a few before needing some water to wash down the flavor. Would be better with rice or something so the flavor doesn't hit as hard. I loved the music that was playing in the restaurant and had an overall laid-back vibe. I have to say the chicken wings and the rice bowls were on point! First time here. The wings took exactly 22 minutes to be ready on a very quiet evening. Their concept of "crispy" differs from ours. I've ordered tteokbokki twice from Frymazing now and was satisfied with taste each time. The sauce is cooked well and has good flavor; it's not too fishy or spicy, and you could tell they took the time to develop flavor. I enjoyed scallions on top; it added a little bit of crunch needed with the chewy rice cakes and the torched cheese was a nice touch. The wings were a good size and I loved the yangyum sauce. It was very flavorful, not too spicy, and coated perfectly. The miso butter chicken fries were decent, wasn't fond of the chicken but the sauce and cheese went well together. I would prefer if the jalapeños on top were sliced up but that's just my preference. I just had to try this place, I love Korean food and I've had relatives tell me it's super good. Although I didn't pick up the food myself by boyfriend did and said that the staff was nice and it was an easy in and out. The fried chicken is soooooo good I had gotten the Yangnyum wings and the bulgogi fries and my boyfriend had gotten the double crunch fried chicken. They were both really good. On a vacation to wine country for the holiday weekend, we found this place online and had to try it out. It was soooo good. The spicy pork loaded fries had all the topping you want and a good amount of pork. Everything was made fresh from what looked like a family operation. The wings were piping (temperature) hot but we wanted to enjoy them so badly we were smiling and blowing on them through gritted teeth. Very tasty. Salty and slightly sweet. The business is located between Del Taco and Taco Bell. Upon arriving I panicked because I did not see the shin wings on the menu and my youngest would've been heartbroken.
