Wow!!!! The attention to detail they put into this location is picture worthy. Upon entering you are seeing culture, colors and sparkle!! Super friendly and welcoming. They are able to cater to small or larger groups and party catering! Not being very knowledgeable to the dishes, we opted to try an appetizer and entree. Our server "Vic" was very patient and polite with our questions and helped us to find a balanced meal that would suit our tastes. Food came out perfect temperature. Flavors are bold and quite tasty. The abundance of spices were appropriate and not too overwhelming. Servings were giving and shareable! Please with what we ordered and looking forward to trying new dishes! Their naan is made fresh and we immediately ordered another naan after finishing our first batch. Chicken was moist, and so flavorful! The presentation on the hot skillet was great to see!! I can't remember or properly pronounce what we ordered but I will attach the photos with my review!! Shout out to Vic!!! And happy Grand Opening Taj Grill and Crust!!!

We desperately needed a great Indian spot in Fairfield, and Taj Grill completely delivered. The food is exceptional. The fish pakora was deeply flavorful, and the samosa chaat offered a brilliant, fresh balance of sweet, spicy, and salty flavors. Their chicken tikka masala is a must-try--undoubtedly the best in Fairfield. The staff is welcoming and the service is great. The interior is nice featuring gorgeous chandeliers and art that make you forget about the busy surrounding area outside. My only critique--offered with the utmost respect to the owners--is the name. "Taj Grill" would be incredibly strong on its own, as "Crust" feels a little out of place for this cuisine. Highly recommend supporting this new local business.

Yummy new restaurant. Garlic Naan delicious, Chicken Tikka Masala also delicious. We can't wait to try more!!!

    Chicken Tikka Masala

Upscale Indian food. The Vegi Chops were amazing, a little on the salty side, but they were packed with flavor, I ordered spicy and they had a good heat to them. The chicken tikka masala was great, it was a different than many other restaurants that I have tried, they make it with cashews instead of cream which gave it a thick, rich texture. I ordered spicy but it was pretty mild. I also ordered the goat cheese and spicy naans. The goat cheese one tasted a bit like ricotta, it was slightly sweet and rich. The spicy one was good, could have used a little salt, but it pared great with the slightly salty vegi chops. Overall the presentation is beautiful, the staff are very polite and professional and the food has strong, rich flavors. A little on the pricey side, but the flavors make it worth it. Great place for a date night!

Part of the…read morereason I chose Buddha Thai was because of their new menu items, particularly the ALLIGATOR dishes. The 3 different alligator dishes. I chose the Alligator Drunken Noodles. The alligator meat was soft and not chewy or dry and "tastes like chicken." You literally cannot tell the difference by look and taste. Texturally, the meat has a slightly more chew to it than chicken, but other than that 99%+ people would not know the difference. Other dishes we had were: Pad See You (beef), Mango Curry, Tom Kha Soup, Eggplant S'il Vous Plait and Papaya Salad. Everything was delicious! Service: Great! Waitress was very attentive and came by multiple times to check on us and refill our water without asking. She also came by when it was the last call before the kitchen closed to see if we wanted to order other dishes or desserts. The prices have gone up some from their old menu, but the portions have also gotten bigger. Their new menu items are great and I look forward to trying out more of their new items as well as the old, traditional items.

The Maple Bar is a wonderful experience for a Saturday brunch. The Service, food and ambiance were…read moreperfect for couples, friends and even families. We arrived before 11am and were quickly seated although the venue was quite full. Those who arrived later had a short wait time. The music was current and crossed both R&B and Country and was moderately playing in the background. This offered an opportunity to socialize without competing. It supported the friendly atmosphere well. Pretty chandeliers and a combination of booths and tables offered option in a space that is smaller than some of its surrounding counterparts. The menu was stellar and offered both the traditional brunch staples such as chicken and waffles and pancakes however there were surprises such as red velvet waffles or fruity pebbles pancakes/waffles along with some other exciting and unique options. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked vegetarian omlette and a hibiscus mimosa. My spouse enjoyed the traditional waffle with the potatoes, eggs and turkey sausage patty. We also had an incredibly delicious Vietnamese coffee served cold over ice. This treat was recommended by a knowledgeable and cordial bar tender when my husband noticed that the bar carried the New Orleans chickory coffee made at workd famouse Cafe du Mond. We learned that they use a variety of coffees depending upon the drink being made. The Vietnamese coffee's combination of strength and sweetness make it what all Caramel Macchiato's want to be when they grow up! However, the regular house coffee is also very good and Henry our server catered to our preference for half and half over non dairy creamer by having it prepped fresh with heavy cream and 2% milk! We were so surprised that this courtesy would be the response when most restaurants would simply say they don't carry it. This review will certainly make it seem as if we prefer coffee to mimosas, that is not true. The beautiful Vietnamese coffee drink was just so yummy that we almost forgot the mimosas. My husband's watermelon mimosa was very nice and the hibiscus mimosa was crisp and refreshing. Service here should make surrounding venues nervous because this restaurant does not use busy crowds as an excuse for tired lackadaisical substandard service. They greeted everyone that entered as if they were an old friend. We noticed the way the team supported one and other to ensure good service as crowd thickened. We will definitely be back and have already told family and friends! Unfortunately we only have pictures of our food after we had eaten half but even that is worth sharing!

I kinda fell like, for a +$20 breakfast, it should have been epic. And it just wasn't. Most of mine was cold - and that's pretty bad when yuh have something called a 'skillet' (which wasn't in one, by the way...) My daughter's Benedict was... Spongy and weird and so were the hashbrowns and the hollandaise was just kind of off, and runny. What was epic?? The FRUIT. Large portion, berries and mango and none of the filler melons that most places use. It was the good stuff! I guess next time we really should try the waffles, because apparently that's what it's known for and I don't know why we didn't go with that but we just weren't feeling something sweet today. Hopefully, next time will be epic all around! (as far as ambience, it's a cute little place, the music was decent, and the tables were well appointed. Neither of us use the bathroom, and that's usually one way to tell how clean the place/kitchen is. We will definitely check it out next time)
